    Hi, I was sniffing the response header of one my sites and apparently is not using http compression to deliver responses because I'm not seeing the Content-Encoding: gzip in the response header. But the weird thing is that phpinfo() shows me HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING: gzip,deflate,sdch Im using a rackspace cloud site (shared hosting, cant access httpdconfig), and I really want to activate http compression but the support guys over there tells me that if the phpinfo() says it, its already on. thanks.!

    Hi Since a few days when I start Windows Vista i get a Popup from "Encrypting File System" (coming from process efsui.exe) asking me to backup the certificate and key. I don't know what i did to get this message (The last SW i did install was google desktop). Now i'm wondering what directories or file are encrypted with EFS. Is there a way to found out? Yet when I put debug lines on my site nothing happens. So I am guessing I need more stuff setup to make debugging to work. Everything is on the same machine. I have iis 7 on the same machine setup and I have Visual studios setup on my machine.

    Hi folks, I cannot connect to the database anymore, I'm getting: Cannot open user default database. Login failed. I have deleted the database during a previous session and then tried to recreate it. But the recreate failed. Now I am stuck with this error, what can I do? Edit: I'm using Windows Authentication Any ideas? Fixed: use the command: sqlcmd -E -d master then type: ALTER LOGIN [Your Windows Login] WITH DEFAULT_DATABASE=master GO :)

  • Overclocked GPU quantum problem

    Hi all, I overclocked my nVidia GPU, and now I get it to be much faster, but after a ~40% overclock, I start getting "mistakes" on the screen, like wrongly coloured pixels, glitches and the sort. Temperature is still within limits, as I added extra coolers. So my question is: is this a permanent problem which is damaging the GPU or is only something related to the intrinsic quantum mistake rate of processing calculations? Thanks for your opinion :-)

Though it connects to the wi-fi network however a control-less windows gets stuck in the middle of the my win7 desktop screen and does not goes off.
