• How to use PC's Internet Connection in Windows Mobile

  Hi, I use Palm Treo 750 running Windows mobile 6.1. I don't have GPRS on my mobile. But, I have Broadband connection in my laptop running Windows Vista. How can I use the PC's internet connection to browse from mobile (either USB or bluetooth)? I have done this in one of my previous Windows mobiles (Smart Phone 2003 SE). Thanks in advance guys.   Hi, What is the I/O load on the local disk system for the host OS in XenServer ? I can't find this info anywhere. As we have a SAN for the VMs themselves, can we get away with cheap controller / SATA disk in raid-1 for the hypervisor ? We won't boot from the SAN as it seems prone to problems. Thanks, Chris

• Windows 7 - Sharing a connection through WiFi?

  Hi folks, I have a PC with Win7 and an iPod touch. Win7 is connected to the internet through a 3G dongle, I have set up an Ad Hoc wifi network and ticked "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection". I have connected to both networks, but I'm getting "No Internet access" as access type for the Ad Hoc connection. Any ideas?

• Quicksilver quit launching Xcode

  Hi everyone, I've been launching Xcode from Quicksilver quite happily for weeks. Suddenly late yesterday, without changing either Xcode or Quicksilver, it started appearing like this: Screenshot There's no "open" option in the action list anymore. I rebooted with no joy. All my other applications launch. Xcode still launches from Spotlight. It just seems to be any app under /Developer/Applications. Any suggestions? cheers,Step

  Hi, We have a Windows Server 2008 Standard edition server and when we logged in today a service, McAfee Security Scan, had been installed. I checked all the logs, but can't find any trace of who or how this install was initiated. We already use Nod32 so there would be no reason for us to install McAfee. Any idea how this happens?
