  Hello, I want to temporarily change fonts in latex, to arev. Usually, this would work, as described here: {\fontencoding{T1}\fontfamily{arev} the font is temporarily changed} it doesnt though, and I think it has to do with the fact that arev is a T1 font.   I am trying to use maven profiles and filtering in order to produce two different versions of a given web archive (war): A first one for local deployment to my local machine on localhost A second one for remote deployment to cloudfoundry There are a number of properties that differ according to whether the app is deployed to my local machine or to cloudfoundry. Of course the difficult bit is that I am trying to do all this from STS/Eclipse and deploy from Eclipse to my local tomcat and to cloudfoundry... • ubuntu gnome short cut keys

  Hi, I have done something quite silly and not sure how to fix it. I modified some of the gnome keyboard short cuts and was trying to disable the "Run Application" command. In the process I assigned it to the delete key and every time I hit delete the "Run Application" window comes up. It would not normally be a problem but the "Keyboard Shortcuts" no long has the short cut in the window so I can't disable it. Any help advice would be appreciated. Cheers Ben

  using visual studio 2008 Asp.net HTML Designer Howdy, Silly question but im using the HTML desinger in vs2008 to produce a ASP.net webform page, and i cant seem to find a way to select/group multiple controls with the mouse and move them all about the page in one group to keep them all aligned. I can select multiple controls with cntrl/click combo, and use the align options, but once they are selected i cannot move them aroound the webform as a group any advice appreciated

However, whenever I run a rake task now I get an error for each of my unpacked gems stating config.gem: Unpacked gem gemname in vendor/gems has no specification file. Run 'rake gems:refresh_specs' to fix this. I've done this but no dice. Anyone have the same issue? If so, how do I resolve? TIA

I've been able to remove the icon from the dock when the application is "minimized to tray", but it still appears when I command-tab to switch between my running applications.   Pretty simple question: when doing some pretty intense drawing with CoreGraphics on the iPhone, how can I specify the pixel format to get optimal performance? Is the format that I get from the context via UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext per definition the best one? I know that RGB565 is supposed to be the fastest to use in OpenGL. Does that go for CoreGraphics as well? General advice?

• Whats a valid strategy for a secure image upload from a flash client?

  Hi all - I'm creating a flash application that will post images to a url for saving to disk/display later. I was wondering what are some suggested strategies for making this secure enough so that the upload is verified as coming from the application and not just some random form post.   I've integrated about half a dozen e-payment gateways, from popular ones (like paypal) to not-so popular ones. It seems every time I try to integrate a non-popular epayment gateway, I exceed my original time-estimation. I think I'm a decent programmer, but my time estimations probably needs work.
