  • Import EML emails into Outlook 2010 64-bit

    Evening everyone. I'm helping setup a small office network, where a number of old PC's are being replaced with new ones with a 64-bit copy of Outlook 2010. The old emails were stored in Windows Live Email, and were exported as .eml files (since we were replacing the machines). All the support I can find indicates that .eml files could simply be dragged-and-dropped into a folder in Outlook 2010, and it will import them correctly. However, it seems this is not the case in the 64-bit versioin, where dropping in .eml files results in a new message being created with these files as attachments. We can re-download the most of the emails off the server if need be, but there were user folders which were not on the server which we were hoping to import. Any advice would be fantastic at this point!

  • Automatic Reply Out of Hours

    Is there a way i can use a rule or "timer" of some sort to turn on out of office, or enable an auto reply for 1 mailbox (Sales mailbox) within a time period. Reason: We deal with all timezones, we only open 6am-8pm. critical sales are sometimes lost the automatic reply will involve a telephone number for emergency sales. (yes, spam i know) I wish the auto reply to come from "[email protected]" if this is possible. I've lokekd at transport rules, cant see anything. I cant word my question well enough for google to give an answer.

    Hey stackoverflow community, I am looking for a Document Viewer application that I can embed in a Flash/Flex application that supports Microsoft Office documents as well as PDF. I have looked into print2flash as a possibility, but their automated converter executable requires access to the files and directories. Does anyone know of other alternatives which would have .NET/Java/Other libraries to convert these files to a SWF that can do it based on the download stream, as opposed to the actual files? Thanks!

    Hi, I'm working on a multilingual software where I need to show synonyms of Chinese text to the user. I couldn't find any API that could give synonyms of a given Chinese word. I tried MS-Office proofing tools but they do not support thesaurus for chinese, rather they provide grammar, translation etc. Please suggest some API or workaround to show the synonyms for chinese words.

  • MPXJ - get ResourceAssignment baseline values

    I'm trying to display the Baseline Start, Finish, Cost, and Work values for a ResourceAssignment, but cannot seem to find any methods on the ResourceAssignment object that would provide this information. Anybody know if this is possible? I know the information is stored because I can see it in MS Project, and I can see it in the XML version of the project file. Just can't see in the API where to get access to it.

    Hello. I've got a really difficult bug and I can't see the fix. The subject drives me insane for real for a long time. Let's consider the following scenario: 1) There is a PowerPoint 2003 presentation. It contains the only slide and the only shape, but the shape contains a text frame including a bulleted list with a random textual representation structure. 2) There is a requirement to get bullet indents for every bulletted paragraph using PowerPoint 2007. I can satisfy the requirement opening the presentation in the compatibility mode and applying the following VBA script: With ActivePresentation Dim sl As Slide: Set sl = .Slides(1) Dim sh As Shape: Set sh = sl.Shapes(1) Dim i As Integer For i = 1 To sh.TextFrame.TextRange.Paragraphs.Count Dim para As TextRange: Set para = sh.TextFrame.TextRange.Paragraphs(i, 1) Debug.Print para.Text; para.indentLevel, sh.TextFrame.Ruler.Levels(para.indentLevel).FirstMargin Next i End With that produces the following output: A 1 0 B 1 0 C 2 24 D 3 60 E 5 132 Obviously, everything is perfect indeed: it has shown the proper list item text, list item level and its bullet indent. But I can't see the way of how I can reach the same result using C#. Problem is we dont know what is the copyrighted code and what is not.     I'm trying to execute MS-DOS DEL commands inside a Win32 C program, and I already know that system and popen can be used for this. However, the problem is that both require string literals (type const char) for the commands, and I need something like the DOS equivalent of dir ~ | grep -P '/\d{7,8}\.exe$/' | rm, which obviously can't use string literals. Is there some other subprocess function in C that allows for char arrays as arguments for process names?

    I want to know about the name of all currently opened MS-Word file by its unique id. I found unique id for one file but when I gave its destination path in code. My requirement is that when any user open Word file then the unique id of this file is passed into my code and through this code the name of this file is stored into database (but it is done backgroundly and for multiple files).
