    In Word 2010, how can you create quick style sets that include multilevel lists (include being the operative word)? As background, I have created a set of styles for a long agreement form and assigned them to levels in a certain custom multilevel list. I then also saved those styles as a quick style set called Long Agreement. I have saved those styles in my normal template. That all works fine for assigning styles to a Long Agreement. What I'd like to do next is create a second style set called Short Agreement. I will assign certain styles to that style set. The issue is that I don't see how to tie a different custom multilevel list to those Short Agreement styles. When I click on Change Styles, Short Agreement [style set], and I apply those styles, how can I get it to automatically use the multilevel list that I assign to short agreements?

    I am looking for a convenient way to create a list of lists for which the lists within the list have consecutive numbers. So far I only came up with a very unsatisfying brute-typing force solution (yeah right, I just use python for a few weeks now): block0 = [] ... block4 = [] blocks = [block0,block1,block2,block4] I appreciate any help that works with something like nrBlocks = 4.

    My project currently contains two largish property lists. One is currently 20KB; another is 8KB. So far, I have been maintaining them with xCode's property list editor. This is manageable but also a bit clunky. I am wondering if other people have better ways of doing this? So far, my lists consist of nested arrays of strings. The depth is not uniform.

  • Does System.Web.mail (CDonts) issue smtp quit commands?

    .net System.Net.Mail does not issue SMTP quit commands in version 3.5 or lower. Although the problem is fixed in .net v4.0 RTM, unfortunately v4.0 cannot handle attachments in an email larger than 3-4MB's so I can't use it in my solution. I was thinking of maybe rolling back to the now outdated CDonts found in System.Web.Mail. Can anyone confirm if CDonts mailing routines explicitly issues SMTP Quit commands?

  • Prolog: How to make three lists the same lenght (by adding leading zeros)

    I am writing a prolog program to solve a problem. The problem takes three lists as input: solve( [L|Lr] , [R|Rr] , [S|Sr] ) :- Unfortunately the lists all need to be equal length for the program to work. So these work: ?- solve( [A, B, C, D] , [1, 3, 5, 6], [E, F, G, H]). ?- solve( [1] , [2], [3]). But these do not: ?- solve( [A, B, C, D], [1], [B, I, T] ). ?- solve( [A], [1, 2], [4, 5]). What I would like to do is write a predicate(?) to pad the smaller lists with leading zeros. So: solve( [A, B, C, D], [1], [B, I, T] ) would become: solve( [A, B, C, D], [0, 0, 0, 1], [0, B, I, T] ) Any points on how to accomplish this would be awesome. I am from a functional background so I am struggling. Is there a way tell the length of a list? I think I could do that recursively, but it seems like a pain. Thanks

    Hi All, I have looked at most threads here about Doubly linked lists but still unclear about the following. I am practicing the Goodrich and Tamassia book in Java. About doubly linked lists, please correct me if I am wrong, it is different from a singly linked list in that a node could be inserted anywhere, not just after the head or after the tail using both the next and prev nodes available, while in singly linked lists, this insertion anywhere in the list is not possible ? If one wants to insert a node in a doubly linked list, then the default argument should be either the node after the to-be inserted node or node before the to-be inserted node ? But if this is so, then I don't understand how to pass the node before or after. Should we be displaying all nodes that were inserted till now and ask the user to select the node before or after which some new node is to be inserted ? My doubt is how to pass this default node. Because I assume that will require the next and prev nodes of these nodes as well. For e.g, Head<-A<-B<-C<-D<-E<-tail If Z is the new node to be inserted after say D, then how should node D be passed ? I am confused with this though it seems pretty simple to most.     Question, I'm trying to setup my own mailserver: This is the server (latest version): http://www.codeproject.com/KB/vista/SMTP_POP3_IMAP_server.aspx Now I've the following problem: I can add user accounts, and receive mails from the internet in that account. I can also setup a mailinglist. This works fine (for local users). But I can't send any emails out... Why ? I've forwarded port 25 + 110, and it works fine for receiving mails from the internet. Do I need to configure SMTP under SMTP, or under relay, or both ? Or do I miss anything ?

    Hi, I'm trying to install mailman + postfix + apache2 on a VPS running Ubuntu 8.10. I think I got it all according to the official Ubuntu docs. I'm getting this error though when trying to access mailman's admin page. [Wed Jun 09 21:36:02 2010] [error] [client 77.65.61.4] (12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn't create child process: 12: admin [Wed Jun 09 21:36:02 2010] [error] [client 77.65.61.4] (12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn't spawn child process: /usr/lib/cgi-bin/mailman/admin I have no idea where the problem might be.     Is there any way to prevent a user from receiving multiple copies of the same email if an email is sent to both an alias for the user as well as the user themselves? For example, suppose bob.smith is a included in the alias list for developers (@company.com) If I send the email to both the user and an alias for the user: To: [email protected], [email protected] ... is there any way to prevent user Bob from receiving the same email two times? EDIT: I've observed that if Bob is a member of two different alias groups, and I send an email just to those two groups (not the user directly), sendmail correctly expands the groups and removes the duplicate. The behavior I want to fix occurs when you send directly to the user AND a group they belong to.

    Is there a formula I can use that will change all cells with one character to something else? For example, I have cells with single letters and no matter what the letter is I want that cell to contain the word Member. More Info: I get spreadsheets that contain, up to 40,000 rows. Column B will have names in the cells. Every once in a while a column will just have an initial instead of a full name. I'm looking for a way to change every single cell containing only one single character to the word "Member." The cells that need to change could be any letter but no matter what that letter is, if it's just a single letter in a cell, it needs to change to the word "Member."

  • Erlang list comprehension, traversing two lists and excluding values

    I need to generate a set of coordinates in Erlang. Given one coordinate, say (x,y) I need to generate (x-1, y-1), (x-1, y), (x-1, y+1), (x, y-1), (x, y+1), (x+1, y-1), (x+1, y), (x+1, y+1). Basically all surrounding coordinates EXCEPT the middle coordinate (x,y). To generate all the nine coordinates, I do this currently: [{X,Y} || X<-lists:seq(X-1,X+1), Y<-lists:seq(Y-1,Y+1)] But this generates all the values, including (X,Y). How do I exclude (X,Y) from the list using filters in the list comprehension?
