  • Windows 7 Mobile Device center Xperia x1 problem

    - by Morgan.Spagetti
Hello I recently installed Windows 7 on my computer and having trouble to sync it with my Xperia X1 mobile phone. I tried to install ActiveSync 4.5 but Microsoft told me to install Mobile Device Center instead. The problem is that the computer doesn't recognize the phone so no drivers is installed for it and that prevents the Mobile Device Center to find my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks, Morgan.

  • Solaris SMF Syntax

    - by Benoît
Hello, I'm trying to write a SMF manifest but i'm stuck because i can't find the complete documentation. Their DTD (/usr/share/lib/xml/dtd/service_bundle.dtd.1) is a joke, it's full of CDATA. For instance, i'm looking for the complete specification for <service_fmri/>, which value attributes are valid, etc. Where can i find the complete specification for writing Solaris SMF manifests ? Thanks.

  • Will using FAT32 provide better pagefile performance than NTFS?

    - by llazzaro
Hello, I was discussing with my others personalities, and came up with a conflict. In http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc938440.aspx , says that FAT32 is faster when using smaller volumes. Ok separate disk, will give more performance than same disk. But did anyone test this? Scenario 1 : Separate hard disk FAT32 (small volume) Scenario 2 : Separate hard disk NTFS which one will win? minimum gain?

  • How do I uninstall mysql on snow leopard osx?

    - by Abhic
Hello I had installed mysql from the command line when I setup a local web server with custom modules on my snow leopard box. I recently discovered MAMP and its just easier to work with it than with the personal web server Apple has and via command like utils. I uninstall ports completely but still see 'mysqld' in my Activity Monitor. I would like to uninstall this cleanly. Any tips? Thank you.

  • adress-chunk: separate data stored in one collumn - into three (street, postal-code, town)

    - by zero
hello dear community. Hello dear friends form all over the planet first of all - this is a great great forum. I like this place to share the ideas. It is so great to see such a supportive place - featuring the knowledge exchange! today i have the following thing to discuss: i want to separate the following data that are stored in one column of a calc-spreadsheet: See the following data: You see that there are the following categories:_ steet, postal-code, town All the data are stored in only one Colum; Well to be honest: i want to separate them into three colums steet, postal-code, town see the data: what can i do? note - you see that there are commas inbetween the enties: and besides this we see that we have a postal-code with four digits: that is a good thing. Perhaps we can use this as a marker that helps us to separate the data?! Perhaps See a data-sample! Here you can see some exceptions: eg. the town that has two words combinde with a "-" ... or somethims without any signs and characters... see the following... as an example: Max-Bader-Platz 1, 5620 Schwarzach im Pongau Pestalozzistraße 4, 9990 Nussdorf-Debant Schulstraße 4, 5162 Obertrum am See But i guess that this means no problem...
