  • ModifiedDate Version Convention

    - by Robie
    Hi, I am trying to create a fluent Nhibernate automap convention for all the modifiedDate property of my application where it should set the value to get the current date. I am trying the following and its not working. Please advice. public class ModifiedDateVersionConvention : IVersionConvention,IVersionConventionAcceptance { public void Apply(IVersionInstance instance) { instance.Default(DateTime.Now); } public void Accept(IAcceptanceCriteria<IVersionInspector> criteria) { criteria.Expect(x => x.Name == "ModifiedDate"); } }

  • Java Equivalent to .NET's DateTime.Parse?

    - by Superdumbell
I'm working on a java class that I will use with Pervasive Data Profiler that needs to check if a Date String will work with .NET's DateTime.Parse. Is there an equivalent class or 3rd party library that can give me this functionality that is very close to .NET's DateTime.Parse?

  • How to keep iPhone app out of iPad store?

    - by Eric
I have an iPhone app that I have started to turn into a universal app, however the process is not complete and I want to release an update to the iPhone version. I know that you can specify device capabilities in the Info.plist file to restrict your app to certain devices, but how can I do this to prevent the unfinished universal version from appearing in the iPad store? Is checking the LSRequiresiPhoneOS BOOL entry (in the Info.plist file) enough? Thanks!

  • How do I best run a search on Date when it is not a :has_many association?

    - by Angela
I have a number of activities that have a calculated scheduled date. The activities, for example, Email, have a email.days method which is the days from a Contact.start_date on which it should be sent. This means contact.start_date + email.days yields a date on which email is sent to contact. I would like to use link_to around the date, so I can see all the emails and associated contacts that are to be scheduled on that date. However, this "date" is not an attribute or an associate, so I'm not linking to a model's view. It's calculated. So: 1) What should the actual "format" of the date that gets passed in the URl be? What is the method to do the consistent conversion? 2) How do I (find) all instances, because this "date" is not an actual attribute, is it a calculated value which changes depending on the two associated models of Contact and Email. Thanks.

  • Converting from a day of week to unix time in PHP

    - by Rob
Hi, I'm trying to get the unix time for date strings that are formatted like so: 'second sunday of march 2010' 'first sunday of november 2010' I was under the impression that strtotime could handle such a string, but apparently not, as this returns false. How can I convert to unix time when given a day of week, which one of those in the month (ie. first, second, etc.), a month and a year.

  • Is there ever a good reason to store time not in UTC?

    - by landon9720
I am wondering if there are any good reasons to ever store time information in anything other that UTC (GMT)? I believe that this is a solid rule for all software engineering. The conversion to local time is merely a translation that happens at the UI layer for display purposes. I have also seen cases where the translatation is needed in order to implement an algorithm correctly (for handling midnight date changes, etc.).

  • MySQL DATE_ADD usage, 5 day interval

    - by Webnet
I'm trying to select the order total sum ($) and invoice count over a 5 day period in a single query. I can't seem to get this to happen though. The current query I have is here... SELECT COUNT(id) as invoice_count, SUM(orderTotal) as orders_sum, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(created) as created FROM ids_invoice WHERE DATE_ADD(created, INTERVAL +1 DAY) AND userId = '.$userId.$whereSql I'm not entirely sure DATE_ADD is the right function I'm looking for I'm fairly new to mysql date functions so perhaps I just missed the function I needed when going through mysql docs.

  • MDX , Calculate Number of days when the cummulative sum of Revenues from end of a month date match with the given debt amount.

    - by Shuchi
Hi, I have a financial cube and i have to calculate Daily Sales Outstanding as : Number of Days between the selected month last date and the earliest transaction date when cummulative sum of Revenue from last date of the month till the date where sum revenue <= the debt amount for the date . e.g On 31/12/2009 my debt amount = 2,500,000 31-Dec-09 30-Nov-09 15-Oct-09 31-Oct-09 Revenue 1,000,000 1,000,000 500,000 1,0000 Cummulative sum of revenue 1,000,000 2,00,000 2,500,000 4,000,000 No of Days 31 30 16 On 15/Oct/09 cummulative revenue is 2,500,000 which equals my debt amount on that day Count of Days = 31 + 31 + 16 = 76 Days. In other words Sum Revenue from the selected date backwards until sum total equals or exeeds the total to date balance of the debtors. Any help will be highly appreciated . If i haven't explained clearly enough or if you need more information then please let me know. Thanks in advance . Shuchi.

  • Problem with Json Date format when calling cross-domain proxy

    - by Christo Fur
I am using a proxy service to allow my client side javascript to talk to a service on another domain The proxy is a simple ashx file with simply gets the request and forwards it onto the service on the other domain : using (var sr = new System.IO.StreamReader(context.Request.InputStream)) { requestData = sr.ReadToEnd(); } string data = HttpUtility.UrlDecode(requestData); using (var client = new WebClient()) { client.BaseAddress = serviceUrl; client.Headers.Add("Content-Type", "application/json"); response = client.UploadString(new Uri(webserviceUrl), data); } The client javascript calling this proxy looks like this function TestMethod() { $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "/custommodules/configuratorproxyservice.ashx?m=TestMethod", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", data: JSON.parse('{"testObj":{"Name":"jo","Ref":"jones","LastModified":"\/Date(-62135596800000+0000)\/"}}'), dataType: "json", success: AjaxSucceeded, error: AjaxFailed }); function AjaxSucceeded(result) { alert(result); } function AjaxFailed(result) { alert(result.status + ' - ' + result.statusText); } } This works fine until I have to pass a date. At which point I get a Bad Request error when the proxy tries to call the service I did have this working at one point but have now lost it. Have tried using JSON.Parse on the object before sending. and JSON.Stringify, but no joy anyone got any ideas what I am missing

  • Problem sorting RSS feed by date using XSL

    - by Buckers
I'm creating a website where I need to show the top 5 records from an RSS feed, and these need to be sorted by date and time. The date fields in the RSS feed are in the following format: "Mon, 16 Feb 2009 16:02:44 GMT" I'm having big problems getting the records to sort correctly - I've tried lots of different code examples I've seen, but none seem to sort the records correctly. The code for my XSL sheet is shown below, and the feed in question is here. Very grateful for anyones help!!! Thanks, Chris. XSL CODE: <xsl:stylesheet version="1.1" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:digg="http://digg.com//docs/diggrss/" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"> <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:for-each select="//*[local-name()='item'][position() < 6]"> <p> <a> <xsl:attribute name="href"> <xsl:value-of select="*[local-name()='link']"/></xsl:attribute> <xsl:attribute name="target"> <xsl:text>top</xsl:text> </xsl:attribute> <xsl:value-of select="*[local-name()='title']"/> </a> <br/> <span class="smaller"><xsl:value-of select="*[local-name()='pubDate']" disable-output-escaping="yes"/></span> </p> </xsl:for-each>

  • Regex statements for date ranges <=4/1/2009 and <=10/01/2009

    - by reggiereg
Hi, I need serious help building two Regex statements for a project. The software we're using ONLY accepts Regex for validation. I need one that fires for any date <4/1/2009 and a second that fires for any date <10/1/2009 My co-worker gave me the following code to check for <=10/01/2010, but it checks leap years and all that stuff. I need something a little more streamlined than this in the MM/DD/YYYY format. Thanks in advance! ^(?:(?:0?[1-9])|(?:1[0-2]))(\/|-|.)(?:0?[1-9]|1\d|2[0-8])(\/|-|.)(?:2[0-9][2-9][0-9])$|^(?:(?:0?[1-9])|(?:1[0-2]))(\/|-|.)(?:0?[1-9]|1\d|2[0-8])(\/|-|.)(?:201[1-9])$|^(?:(?:(?:0?[13578]|1[02])(\/|-|.)31)|(?:(?:0?[1,3-9]|1[0-2])(\/|-|.)(?:29|30)))(\/|-|.)(?:201[1-9])$|^(?:(?:(?:11)(\/|-|.))(?:0?[1-9]|1\d|2[0-9]|30)(\/|-|.))(2010)$|^(?:(?:(?:10|12)(\/|-|.))(?:0?[1-9]|1\d|2[0-9]|30|31)(\/|-|.))(2010)$|^(?:(?:0?[1-9])|(?:1[0-2]))(\/|-|.)(?:0?[1-9]|1\d|2[0-8])(\/|-|.)(?:2[0-9][2-9][0-9])$|^(?:(?:(?:0?[13578]|1[02])(\/|-|.)31)\1|(?:(?:0?[1,3-9]|1[0-2])(\/|-|.)(?:29|30)))(\/|-|.)(?:2[0-9][2-9][0-9])$|^(?:(?:0?[1-9])|(?:1[0-2]))(\/|-|.)(?:0?[1-9]|1\d|2[0-8])(\/|-|.)(?:2011)$|^(?:0?2(\/|-|.)29\3(?:(?:(?:2[0-9][1-9]\d)?(?:0[48]|[2468][048]|[13579][26])|(?:(?:16|[2468][048]|[3579][26])00))))$

I want to group by customers by registered date and then by type of customer. i.e If today 3 guest, 4 registered and 2 manager are inserted. and tomorrow 4,5 and 6 are registered resp. then report should show Number of customers registerd on the day . separate row for each type. DATE TYPEOF CUSTOMER COUNT 31-10-2013 GUEST 3 31-10-2013 REGISTERED 4 31-10-2013 MANAGER 2 30-10-2013 GUEST 5 30-10-2013 REGISTERED 10 30-10-2013 MANAGER 3 LIKE THIS . var subquery = from eat in _customerRepo.Table group eat by new { yy = eat.CreatedOnUTC.Value.Year, mm = eat.CreatedOnUTC.Value.Month, dd = eat.CreatedOnUTC.Value.Day } into g select new { Id = g.Min(x => x.Id) }; var query = from c in _customerRepo.Table join cin in subquery.Distinct() on c.Id equals cin.Id select c; By above query I get minimum cutomers registerd on that day Thanks in advance

  • Date Filtered Collections without Functions

    - by madcapnmckay
Hi, I have an entity similar to the below: public class Entity { public List<DateItem> PastDates { get; set; } public List<DateItem> FutureDates { get; set; } } public class DateItem { public DateTime Date { get; set; } /* * Other Properties * */ } Where PastDates and FutureDates are both mapped to the same type/table. I have been trying to find a way to have the Past and Future properties mapped automagically by Nhibernate. The closest I came was where clause on the mapping as follows HasMany(x => x.PastDates) .AsBag().Cascade .AllDeleteOrphan() .KeyColumnNames.Add("EventId").Where("Date < currentdate()") .Inverse(); Where currentdate is a UDF. I do not want to have these database specific functions if I can avoid it, mostly because i can't then test my DAL with SQLite as it doesn't support functions or stored procedures. At the moment I am building the past and future collections using Criteria and adding to my DTO manually. Anyone know how this could be achieved without using any UDFs? Many thanks,
