• ASP.Net MVC DotNetOpenAuth Sample Issue on publish

  I'm trying to use the MSDN Open ID project template for ASP.NET MVC C#. I've been able to configure a local copy to run well. But when I publish it to my hosting provider - it craps out. The error is "500 internal server error". Is there something I should know about publishing this template that I haven't noticed? Here are some more details (for diligence): Hosting provider is GoDaddy/SQL2005/IIS7. When I configure & publish the blank MVC template, it works. The local database publishes successfully, but I haven't been able to troubleshoot the connection in web.config yet. I expect there are connection string problems in the file. I tried disabling all of the references to log4net, as it seemed to be invoked several times on startup. But those changes did not seem to make a difference in either the local or published application performance. My IDE is Visual Studio 2010 Pro Any help would be greatly appreciated!

• NSDateFormatter iOS6 issue

  I have written a code for UIButton press to decrement date. The present date is shown in a UILabel text property and it changes to the previous date when the button is pressed. The following code works perfectly fine for iOS5 but doesn't work with iOS6. • CURL issue in PHP while getting location list

  I am retrieving the nearest locations available from a given address (Longitude/Latitude) from geolocation website. It works fine, but for some places it gives junk characters in the name. Moreover, in browser I am getting different characters compared to my PHP CURL functionality. Here is the URL http://www.geoplugin.net/extras/nearby.gp?lat=17.7374669&long=83.3214858&limit=5&radius=50&format=php One of the location is "Sitampeta" in original location name, but in browser I am getting "Sitammapeta" where as in CURL function I am getting "SÄ«tammapeta". • jKey (JavaScript key shortcut plugin) Issue

  Me and a friend are writing a plugin for jQuery that makes it easy for devs to add key shortcuts and we're damn close but no cigar. We're having issues with the key combos. It seems like we are having issues when you call the same selector multiple times on a page. Try pressing alt+a... youll see it works one time, then gets all mangled up. Anyone know how to fix it? It'll be on github after it's corrected and I'd be happy to add "thank you to" link to whoever can fix this in the header with the copyright info :) It's nicely documented and i have all the code and stuff here.   In my application, I have a dictionary of phrases that are used throughout of the application. This same dictionary is used to create PDFs and Excel Spreadsheets. The dictionary looks like so: GLOBAL_MRD_VOCAB = { 'fiscal_year': _('Fiscal Year'), 'region': _('Region / Focal Area'), 'prepared_by': _('Preparer Name'), 'review_cycle':_('Review Period'), ... snip ... } In the code to produce the PDF, I have: fy = dashboard_v.fiscal_year fy_label = GLOBAL_MRD_VOCAB['fiscal_year'] rg = dashboard_v.dashboard.region rg_label = GLOBAL_MRD_VOCAB['region'] rc = dashboard_v.review_cycle rc_label = GLOBAL_MRD_VOCAB['review_cycle'] pb = dashboard_v.prepared_by pb_label = GLOBAL_MRD_VOCAB['prepared_by'] Now, when the PDF is produced, in the PDF, I don't see these labels but rather, I see: <django.utils.functional.__proxy__ object at 0x10106fdd0> Can somebody help me with this? • jQuery UI sortable issue

  When I try to use a sortable event . (For instance the stop() event) It only works when I bind it using : $('.selector').bind('sortstop', function(event, ui) { ... }); rather than $('.selector').sortable({ stop: function(event, ui) { ... } }); Is there a missing piece in this? The only reason I ask is because when I bind using the actual bind() method it's not giving me access to the event or ui parameters I pass in. I'm always returned undefined.

  Thanks in advance for you help Ive been doing this as a lovejob for friends and now im getting quotes of several hundred dollars for minor homepage variation and I'm not sure if its valid. I'm not a programmer myself, just trying hard :) Via the CafePress press75 theme, I'm trying to go from 1 / 2 / 3 column home layout, to 1-2 merged and 3, push the 2nd column data to the right and have the 1st column span as a 16:9 gallery (nextgengallery plugin installed). Is this really a complex thing from a coding perspective? The current guy talking to me is saying its going to cost $700 or 800 AUD to alter, which is rough when the template cost $85.. Just can’t get the middle data to flow over it? This would be ideal as a result, as the system puts the latest selected blog post on the homepage, so if we can get rid of the sidebar div and have the text appear where it was, that would be ideal. Removing the sidebar from the bottom of home.php and setting the thumbnail width to say 450 gives me the result im after EXCEPT the text doesn’t fill where the sidebar is, it wraps underneath. • Android - Issue with View when set above another View while scrolling

  I've created a ScrollView with a RelativeLayout inside of it. I have a TextView aligned at the bottom of the RelativeLayout using layout_alignParentBottom="true" and a ImageView above the TextView using "layout_above". The layout works perfect when I am on a device where the display is large enough to not have to scroll up and down. When I test it on devices where you need to scroll to see the ImageView and TextView the ImageView doesn't line up above the TextView. Actually I haven't a clue where it goes because I can't see it anywhere. It might be behind the TextView. This also happens when I'm editing an EditText with the Soft Keyboard up, which causes the RelativeLayout to scroll. Anyone knows what's going on here?

  Hi i have my own ubuntu linux box .... in that i have /home/username/.ssh/id_rsa.pub .. i copied the public key and paste the key into Git Hub. when i try to clone the git repository it says the following error warning: Authentication failed. Disconnected; no more authentication methods available (No further authentication methods available.). I have no idea what is wrong with that.... i have putty tool which connect my server with doing authenetication. becuase i copied my public key to my server known host folder. Can any one please help on this .... its heart breaking here.......

• Android: Resolution issue while saving image into gallery

  I've managed to programmatically take a photo from the camera, then display it on an imageview, and then after pressing a button, saving it on the Gallery. It works, but the problem is that the saved photo are low resolution.. WHY?!   I was under the impression that this code #include <windows.h> #include <stdio.h> int WINAPI WinMain (HINSTANCE hInstance, HINSTANCE hPrevInstance, PSTR szCmdLine, int iCmdShow) { printf("WinMain\n"); return 0; } int main() { printf("main\n"); return 0; } would output WinMain, but of course nothing ever works how you expects. Anyways, could somebody please tell me how to get this program to run WinMain first (I do have a reason for using both). I'm running windows 7 with mingw if that helps anything.

I have a detail section that has the list of all items followed by a column footer which has Totals, Tax etc., and then the return policy in the Summary section. I want to always ensure that the detail is followed by column footer followed by summary bands. How can we ensure this? I found that sometimes the Summary comes before the Column footer. • Android 4.0.3 OpengL ES 2.0 issue

  i develop live wallpapers using Opengl ES 2.0 engine. My wallapapers run smooth on 2.x Android Devices , but in 4.03 i see some strange things. 1st seconds (maybe a minute max) lwp runs smooth , but after that starts dropping frames especially when objects passing near camera allmost crashes. But no error on eclipse Log. I watched Eclipse log from the begining of loading the lwp to the point of dropping frames. I ve seen that on My LG optimus 2X , and my Samsung Galaxy S2. Any Idea what to check , or what is going on?? UPDATE i just noticed that changing render mode from dirty to continuously fixed the problem , but until screen orientation changes , or goes of and on. after that renderer freaks out.

  I booted up eclipse to start on a project, and without typing in a word I already have several errors. package department.namespace; import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; public class DepartmentActivity extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); } } At package department.namespace, it says: multiple marks at this line and the type java.lang.Object cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files The import android.os cannot be resolved. Override cannot be resolved as a type The method OnCreate(Bundle) is undefined for the type Activity R. cannot be resolved as a variable. Since this JUST came up when I started Eclipse, how do I fix this?

But the problem is, while i cross the li element with just a second, even the interval is calling, and showing the link. but i need to show only, if i stay inside 3sec and it need to hide there after, again i stay back 3sec. anything wrong with my code?, else any one give me the best suggestion?   I'm currently working on an AIR for iOS application in Flash CS6. I'm trying to store multiple pieces of data from various text inputs; i.e "name_txt", "number_txt" etc. I have the following code working for a local save file; import flash.events.Event; import flash.desktop.NativeApplication; import flash.events.Event; var n1:String = so.data.Number1; var so:SharedObject = SharedObject.getLocal("TravelPal"); emerg1.text = n1; emerg1.addEventListener(Event.CHANGE, updateEmerg1); function updateEmerg1 (e:Event):void { so.data.Number1 = emerg1.text; so.flush(); } NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener(Event.EXITING, onExit); function onExit(e:Event):void { so.flush(); } Now as soon as I create multiple text inputs and attempt to store them in my SharedObject, the whole system just falls apart. None of the text gets saved, even the previously working ones. I'm pretty new to ShardObject usage. What am I missing here? Is this a good way to go about storing multiple text inputs?
