  Hello, I have the following query: SELECT Base.ReportDate, Base.PropertyCode, Base.FirstName, Base.MiddleName, Base.LastName, Person.FirstName, Person.MiddleName, Person.LastName FROM LeaseT INNER JOIN Base ON LeaseT.LeaseID = Base.LeaseID INNER JOIN Person ON LeaseT.TenantID = Person.ID works fine, except there could be 0 to 'N' people in the 'Person' table for each record in the Base table, but I only want to return exactly 1 for each 'Base' record (doesn't matter which, but the one with the lowest Person.ID) would be a reasonable choice. If there is 0 rows in the person table, I still need to return the row, but with null values for the 'person' fields. How would I structure the SQL to do that? Thanks. Edit: Yes, the tables are probably not structured properly, but restructuring at this time is not possible - got to work with what is there.

• Another memory leak question

  Hello My application keeps running for 4 to 6 hours, During this time there is no contineous increase in memory or anything similar. Then after 4 to 6 hours i start getting EOutofMemory Exceptions. Even still at that time there is only 900MB out of 3GB RAM is used as per task manager. And application itself is not using more then 200MB . Then why i am getting EOoutofMEmory error ? Does it mean that memory leak is not necessarily visible in task manager ? Regagards

  I'm grabbing lines from a text file and sifting line by line using regular expressions. I'm trying to search for blank lines, meaning nothing or just whitespace. However, what exactly is empty space? I know that whitespace is \s but what is a line that is nothing at all? null (\0)? newline (\n)? I tried the test harness in the Java tutorial to try and test to see what an empty space is but no luck so far.

  Have a type in the header files I'm working with called VTVOID it is the type of a struct element and a number of parameters. In the header file defining types is the line #define VTVOID void I read in another discussion the void maps to System.Void however when I plug that into the C# code I get the error "System.Void cannot be used in C# -- use typeof(void) to get the void object."   I am presenting a UIViewController as a modal viewcontroller with modalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationFormSheet. I have few UITextFields on its view. My issue is that when I try to dismiss the keyboard ([textfieldname resignFirstResponder]), it doesn't do anything. However when I change the modalPresentationStyle to UIModalPresentationPageSheet, it works. This seems to be a bug. Has any one faced similar problems and found a work around? Could I be doing anything dumb and silly?

  I just hope the following doesn't seem to you like redundant jabber :) Anyway, there is that: for (p = fmt; *p; p++) { if (*p != '%') { putchar(*p); continue; } switch (*++p) { /* Some cases here */ ... } } And I wondered why the writer (Kernighan / Ritchie) used the continue in the if statement. I thought it was for the mere reason that he deemed it would be more elegant than indenting the whole switch under an else statement, what do you think?
