  • FlexUnit - howto check label text

    I am trying to automatically verify certain conventions, such as label/table column header text (Sentence Case, use of colons, etc). It would be nice if there was a way in FlexUnit, or other means, to Iterate over all views in the app Get all titles, labels, column headers Run some pattern checks and fail where needed. Does anyone have a suggestion on what the best way would be to achieve that? I suppose I could do this on a code level on the MXML files, but it would be nicer if it could be integrated into the overall unit test suits. Thanks for any suggestions

    Hi All.. I develop a application based on Advance data grid. In this grid every column add with help of item render and I have added check box in all the column header also.In the Grid i used xml data provider. I am creating xml as string and cast this string in to xml. When i click any cell it takes 10-13 sec and in the cell click handler i get value of System.totalMemory is 255205376. Please any one suggest me what i will do. Thanks

    I am stuck. Given this XML: <matrix> <row> <column>0.51</column> <column>0.52</column> <column>0.53</column> <column>0.54</column> </row> <row> <column>0.61</column> <column>0.62</column> <column>0.63</column> <column>0.64</column> </row> I am trying to define a DataGrid such that the row nodes will represent new rows in the DataGrid and the column nodes will be used to auto-populate the DataGrid's columns. I am having a problem setting the dataField for each of the DataGridColumn ojects created. The DataGrid is created but the cell values for row 1 are all 0.51 and row 2 are 0.61. What am I doing wrong here?

    Hi, after multiple Selection in a advanced datagrid, I want to check if the clicked row, was already selected. Anyway my idea below (in the nested if clause I want to check if the newly clicked item's processing data is already in the added Array Collection) is not working, but I assume there must be a better way to differiante if an click was made on a already selected row. Probably I was not as clear in my description as needed, please ask your questions!   • Flash CS4 compiler Error 1120 when embedding pngs into class instance variables.

    I have a Flash CS4 (Flash 9 ActionScript 3.0) project that compiles and runs perfectly on my machine. However it is part of a big batch of fla's that I want to compile on another (faster) machine. When I copy the project (the fla and all actionscripts and assets files) to the faster machine, it's Flash CS4 compiler gives me compiler error 1120 "Access of undefined property ButtonPause_PauseNormal". The property "PauseNormal" is an embedded png. The PNG is available. No transcoder errors.     Hi, I have 2 swf file, one file is loading fine in SWFLoader in Air application but another is not loading, i dont know why its happening. differents between two file :- For ex: Swf1 is Main swf .(it has dependency file like xml to read and render) swf2 is Sub swf(which will load (or called) inside swf1 in run time) . When try to load swf2 in flex3 air application using SWFLoader its working fine, but swf1 is not loading. Swf1 is working fine individually in flash player 9. But i need to load SWF1 only.   • FlexNativeMenu Problem in Air Application

    I am trying to add a flexnativemenu to my air application and I have some problems... When I set it in the windowApplication, I get null errors in child controls so I tried to set this.menu = myMainMenu (which is my flexnativemenu) in the creation complete event but the menu doesn't show up... I tried to show an alert message before setting the menu and the menu appeared in the application. Is there a method I can call to force the application to "redraw" itself in the creationComplete event??? Thanks!

  • I have some questions about building an AIR app for use with a connected projector.

    For an app I'm working on, I'd like to have a control panel window and a video output window to use for projecting video with an attached projector. I have built many Flash applications but this will be my first time using AIR so I have some questions. Is it possible to have two seperate windows as part of one AIR application? Can one of the windows (the video output) be in full-screen mode while the other window stays normal? How does AIR do with playing local video? Will there be crashes or choppy playback? Is there a better language option for what I'm trying to accomplish?

For the first time loading its works fine but, when i refresh all the images are getting blank. Image data came from xml. But wish to get some tips regarding the browsers and swf behavior in each. I have a very simple DataGrid with 2 columns, some thing like this: <mx:DataGrid id="grid" > <mx:columns> <mx:DataGridColumn dataField="name" headerText="Name"/> <mx:DataGridColumn dataField="date" headerText="Date"/> </mx:columns> </mx:DataGrid> What Im trying to do is to activate the edition of the selected row when the user clicks a button. So far I've been unable to find any example of how to do this. I already tried 6 or 7 different approaches but non works. Does any one has a clue how to do this? How do you get the selected row (NOT selectedItem) of a DataGrid and how can you: Change the ItemRenderEditor or ItemRenderer on the fly of just that row. Or enable the edition of that specific row without clicking it. This are the questions that I've been unable to answer Help will be greatly appreciated.
