• Invoking shell from java, it complaints "stty: standard input: Invalid argument"

  Hi, everybody. I invoked shell command by Process class of java and it gave "stty: standard input: Invalid argument" no matter the command is right or wrong (normal output of shell command is shown too). If I run the shell command in shell, no such error message shows. I can't figure out why. Thanks

  Hey guys, I'm working on a basic DBMS as a pet project and planning to prototype in Python. I figure there's a reason there are only a few Python databases, and my gut agrees that my favorite language will be too slow to act as an honest performing database, but I'm looking forward to using it to learn what I need quickly. Would someone please contradict me? Is Python as ill-suited right now for this sort of thing as I think?

• How can i get a quaternion through my 1 axis gyroscope?

  I'm working on creating a tests, and I can't figure out why the creation of a model from a form_for is failing in the test but works in real browsers. Is there a straightforward way for me to see what the problems are in the model creation? Even better would be, is there a straightforward way for me to test the error outputs that I access via error_messages_for? In that case, I'd like to also add in tests that make sure that malformed forms are outputting the correct errors.

• Access denied when starting SQL Server Express from command line

  Windows 7 computer running SQL Server Express 2008 (sp1). When I try to run net start mssql$sqlexpress I receive an error: System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied The SQL service is running under "Network Service" account The service starts fine if I use the services window. Could somebody help me figure out why I am receiving this error?
