    In my browser (Firefox 10.0.7) the page is automatically redirect to some other sites without clicking any link. If I enter the superuser.com url after pressing Enter button, It redirect to some other sites. sometimes while refreshing also the page is redirect to some other site. It's redirecting to this sites http://result.seenfind.com/ncp/Default.aspx?term=gatlinburg%20cabin&u=1000670913 http://search.cpvee.com/search.php?q=gatlinburg+cabin&y=&f=2168&s= http://www.insidecelebritygossip.com/ I cleared all history and all but still same problem.   • Skype keeps making me automatically invisible

    I keep getting made invisible automatically by skype. It doesn't even appear to happen at consistent intervals. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, sometimes it happens every 5 seconds. I don't want this to happen, but I can't find an option to disable it. Does anybody know if it's possible to disable the invisible status or prevent the timer at all? Or is there a hotkey that I am inadvertently pressing that activates invisible mode? Thanks.

    I have seen, and at one point implemented, methods of modifying firefox's password manager popup such that it would automatically save usernames and passwords without prompt. I was wondering if there is a similar feature for Chrome. I just recently switched to chrome and it is one of a few features/modifications that didnt survive the transition, and while I am moderately capable in programming in certain languages (C+, visual etc) I don't really feel confident enough to muck around unguided. For anyone that is particularly interested, the other features I miss are things such as the slash based 'quick search' in firefox... and I am currently annoyed by a different right click menu order for opening in new tabs and new windows (the reverse of firefox). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I am trying to create a scheduled task to convert all my .vsd files to pdf so all of our devices can read them (linux, mac, smartphones, etc..) and I would prefer not paying for something that can be done with Visio + PDFcreator. The approach of using openoffice doesn't work with .vsd files since it's not a supported format ( Method/tools for batch-converting Microsoft Word files into PDF?) What I've currently is this: 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio11\VISIO.EXE' /pt "Z:\Archive\Files.vsd",-PPDFCREATORPRINTER /nologo That is able to open automatically the document I want and to prepare it to be printed, the only missing part is that it requires me to confirm on the printing dialog.   • Windows audio service fails to automatically start after VirtualBox install

    I'm having a completely nonsensical issue in Windows XP SP3. Basically my "Windows Audio" service no longer starts automatically. Despite being set to "Automatic" I have to manually go in and start it. This issue didn't start until the most recent update of VirtualBox, but I can't find anything on the forums related to this specific issue. I've tried reinstalling the RealTek drivers as well, in the event that that had something to do with it. Any assistance is most appreciated! EDIT 1: It is the host's audio that won't start. The update of Virtualbox was merely the "marker" of when these events started occurring. Given it's the only variable/change I'm assuming a correlation.

The only problem is that when I'm installing the drivers I get a popup in which I need to press "Continue Anyway" on. Is there a way to automatically accept this question?   • Windows 7 automatically install usb driver

    I have tried to install usb driver for Samsung arndale on Windows 7. Now it has two entries in Device Manager. I can not uninstall the one with question mark. If I uninstall both of them, when I plug in the hardware, Windows 7 will automatically install both of the entries when the circuit pulg in. I don't get the chance to choose the right driver. When I try to update the wrong driver, it says found the driver but can not install it.

  • HP EX485 Media Server Keeps Powering Down & Restarting Automatically

    HP Home Media Server EX485 approx 3 years old. Unit suddenly powers itself off and restarts automatically as if the power button was pressed. Server restarts up OK for a few minutes and the cycle repeats itself again & again. Reseated all drives, check fans in chassis and they are OK (turning). Can login to server to see logs before it powers itself down again. Suggestions any help is appreciated on resolving this problem. Thanks.

  • Netbeans automatically changes the file owner when updating files

    We use Netbeans IDE 7.2 to edit our PHP files. In the Run Configuration it is configured as Remote Web Site to automatically save the changes on our web server (Centos OS 6.3). The problem is that every time it is updating the files the owner of the file is changed from apache:apache to userThatUploadedTheFile:users. This causes us problems with SOAP cache files that are configured with apache:apache ownership, and we need to manually chownit back to apache:apache. We've checked the "Preserve Remote File Permissions" checkbox, so the permissions are not changed, only the owner. Is there any solution to preserve the ownership ?

    Every morning I receive an automatically generated e-mail from a server, it includes a spreadsheet attachment. I made a rule in outlook that captures these emails. Now, I would like to make a macro to rename the attached file (. Xls) to =today() and saves it in a folder on a network drive. This macro must run every weekday at 8:00.   • Does Windows XP automatically reassemble UDP fragments?

    I've got a Windows application that receives and processes XML messages transmitted via UDP. The application collects the data using Windows "raw" sockets, so the entire layer 3 packet is visible. We've recently run across a problem that has me stumped. If the XML messages (i.e., UDP packets) are large (i.e., 1500 bytes), they get fragmented as expected. Ordinarily, this will cause the XML processor to fail because it attempts to process each UDP packet as if it is a complete XML message. This is a known short-coming in the system at this stage of its development. On Windows 7, this is exactly what happens. The fragments are received and logged, but no processing occurs. On Windows XP, however, the same fragments are seen, and the XML processor seems to handle everything just fine. Does Windows XP automatically reassemble UDP fragments? I guess I could expect this for a normal UDP socket, but it's not expected behavior for a "raw" socket, IMO. Further, if this is the case on Windows XP, why isn't the behavior the same on Windows 7? Is there a way to enable this?
