• SQL - Counting sets of Field-B values for each Field-A value

  Hello, First of all sorry that I could not think of a more descriptive title. What I want to do is the following using only SQL: I have some lists of strings, list1, list2 and list3. I have a dataset that contains two interesting columns, A and B. Column A contains a TransactionID and column B contains an ItemID. Naturally, there can be multiple rows that share the same TransactionIDs. I need to catch those transactions that have at least one ItemID in each and every list (list1 AND list2 AND list3). I also need to count how many times does that happen for each transaction. [EDIT] That is, count how many full sets of ItemIDs there are for each TransactionID", "Full Set" being any element of the list1 with any element of the list2 with any element of the list3 I hope that makes enough sense, perhaps I will be able to explain it better with a clear head. • Java: using endpoint to publish webservice to tomcat server

  hi all, i am creating a simple SOAP web service. i am to ensure that it runs on a tomcat web service. im trying to implement this with JAX-WS (see code) my question is: does the Endpoint.publish use the tomcat server to host this or is it a mini glassfish kind of server? should i be extending UnicastRemoveObject or something similiar instead? ideally it would be able to be packaged into a .WAR and dropped in the directory and just work. It doesn't seem to work with my installed tomcat server as is because it says the port is already in use. • Crystal Reports Legends

  Is there a way to force a Bar Chart legend in Crystal Report 11.5 to display its objects in a particular order? For Example, say I am reporting on the consumption of "Bananas" and "Apples" by State. The Bar Chart should display the percentage of people who eat these fruits by county (Percent Bar Chart). The "Apples" percentage always displays on top of the bar chart and the "Bananas" on the bottom. The legend for this graph also displays the "Apple" color first, then the "Banana" color. However, if the "Banana" percentage is 0% the legend displays the "Banana" color first on the legend. This creates a inconsistent report (with plenty of complaints). I would like the "Banana" color to always display second in the legend. Hope I didn't confuse anyone and any ideas would be helpful.

  I'm currently working on a project where we are using Wordpress 3.0 RC. The idea is to create custom post types with meta boxes to make the system easier to use for the client. Some of these posts need to have multiple files attached to them, and by attached I do not mean inserted to post but rather we'd like to keep them separate from the post body (in fact, a given post type might not even have text, only files). I'm wondering if there is a standard approach for allowing multiple files to be attached to a Wordpress post? I've managed to add a meta box that allows one file from the media library to be selected, but I have no idea how to extend this to allow an arbitrary number of files. Hope someone can help!

If I comment out the line, it works. So that means forState:UIControlStateNormal is defined. I'm new so hope you can help. • Find products that have a list of attributes.

  I'm stuck trying to solve a problem that's proving to be more difficult than it seems. Consider there is a table that associates products with attributes, it looks like this: Products_id | Attribute_id 21 | 456 21 | 231 21 | 26 22 | 456 22 | 26 22 | 116 23 | 116 23 | 231 Next, I have a list of attribute_ids which I want to use in order to get the products that have all the attributes in that list. For example if I search in the table above using this list (456, 26) I should get these product_ids 21 and 22. Another example, if I search for (116, 231) I should get an empty response since there are no products that have both these attributes. How can I achieve this using one query? In the Backend i want to reorder the Images by Drag&Drop in an Gallery. It works, but for the Output i have the following Problem: I send the AJAX Request to index.php?option=com_cwgallery&controller=gallerie&task=ajax As i told you, it works, but i want to display the result in a Layer. • Installing Bugzilla on Ubuntu 9.04 and Plesk

  Hey guys. I'm trying to install the latest Bugzilla version on my ubuntu server. (Want to use a subdomain like bugs.domain.com) I already installed all necessary perl modules and check_modules.pl doesn't show any errors. But when I'm running the testserver.pl script I get the following: TEST-OK Webserver is running under group id in $webservergroup TEST-FAILED Fetch of images/padlock.png failed I'm also not able to visit ANY file within the bugzilla folder from the browser. I'm always getting a 404 error. The bugzilla folder and all containing files are set to apache as the owner. I tried to enter the apache configuration form the installation guide in the http.include file of the domain and in the vhosts.conf file of the subdomain as well. I don't know what to do... Playing with plesks' suexecgroup doesn't bring any solution... I hope you can help me! Thanks in advance!

• jQuery, drop image on overlaping target

  I am using jQuery to detect drop on target, the target in question is a image. If i drag one image upon another, and then drop it, it shall replace the target source with the dropped source. This works fine until two images lies upon each other. Some of the images lies next to each other and some times the target images overlap. if i drop, both the visible image and the image beneath is replaced with the dragged image. I hope the problem is clear and their is any good solution

• jquery - loose click() event after ajax call ???

  At the following webpage liamharding.com/pgi.php I have an option panel on the left side of the page which opens and close's upon clicking the panels 'arrow', this works fine until you select a market (for testing use one of the 'Random Walk' markets and click 'Show/Refesh Graphs'), this then makes an ajax call using get_graph(forexName, myCount, divIsNew) function. Once this call is completed a graph(s) is displayed and then my options panels click() event does not work? The ajax call returns the data in a variable ajax_data, the problem happens when I perform the following code var jq_ajax_data = $("<div/>").html(ajax_data); . I need to wrap it in a so I can extract data from it using jQuery. If this line of code is commented out the click() event works fine ?? Hope somebody can help, I have spent a lot of time but cant find what the problem is.

  I currently have code with an enum where one value is set and the rest are left to be set by the compiler using the previous value +1, or so I hope. Is this functionality within an enumerated type compiler dependant, an example is below to clarify. enum FUNC_ERROR_CODE { FUNC_SUCCESS, FUNC_ERROR_1 = 24, FUNC_ERROR_2, FUNC_ERROR_3 } Is it safe to assume that FUNC_ERROR_2 will have the value 25 and FUNC_ERROR_3 will have the value 26, regardless of compliler used. I'm coding this so as a function can return an integer value, 0 is always success and any other value can signify failure.

• Can someone recommend a resource/site/book to improve problem solving skills

  I am a reasonably experienced developer (.NET, c#, asp.NET etc) but I'd like to hone my problem solving skills. I find that when I come up against a complex problem I sometimes implement a solution that I feel could have been better had I analyzed the problem in a different way. Ideally what I am looking for is a resource of some type that has 'practice problems and solutions' as I think my skills will only get better by practicing this more and adopting better practices.   Hi, I'm trying to run a .jar file with the command "java -jar Filename.jar", but I am always getting an error saying "Could not find the main class: bla.bla.yada". I build the whole application with Maven and specified a Main-Class in the MANIFEST.MF. The path in the file is correct and the class also exists at the right location in the jar. The ending .class is omitted in the MANIFEST.MF. I hope this is correct. Do you have any other hints?

  Hello, Let's say I've a class myClass which has few properties, such as property1, property2, perperty3, etc. Now, I'd like to populate an array with each of those properties so that, I can access each of them through its index. Is there an automatic way of doing so? • Adding HTML to the DOM through the client.

  Hi all Just wanted your views on the most efficient way to render content on demand, the reason this has come to light is that I'm maintaining a AA compliant website and we recently added video to it, and one of the techniques to avoid invalidation was to add the HTML for the video to the DOM after the page has loaded - which is fine and working ok. However, I found 2 possible techniques and I would appreciate some views, the one I'm currently using is an AJAX call that returns the HTML, the other technique is a hidden field that contains the HTML - I'm presently using the former. The main reason I'm asking the question is because there may be times when this particular control is also requested via an AJAX call, so I would end up with back-to-back AJAX calls, which seems a bit inefficient to me. I hope this makes sense, are there any better techniques to achieve this? Am I worrying too much over the consecutive AJAX calls? Thanks

For page redirection, in a mobile site development, I am using <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=/pagetwo.jsp"/> because it is required to work when Javascript is off. However, I find it working only in BlackBerry (BB) simulator, not in real BB (I tried with BB 8250 and 9700). Could anyone help me please, what could be the reason. Thanks.

• iPhone: UIImageView not showing images

  Hello, I've got UIImageView drawn in my nib-file and it's connected to a imageView iboutlet. I can load single pictures which will show up very nicely, but when it comes to drawing many images separately as like an animation, images won't show. I've got drawImage() function which takes NSData-objects(image data) and draws it to a screen(imageView). Main function has got for loop which loops 300 times as quickly as it can and each time it calls that drawImage function and passes different image data to it. Sometimes when I execute this code, last picture from that "animation" shows up, sometimes not at all. Maybe I need to schedule enough time for imageView so that the image can be shown? Hope someone has some clues. Thanks in advance!

  I am studying for an exam and one of the sample questions is as follows: Vertex cover: a vertex cover in a graph is a set of vertices such that each edge has at least one of its two end points in this set. Minimum vertex cover: a MINIMUM vertex cover in a graph is a vertex cover that has the smallest number of vertices among all possible vertex covers. Minimal vertex cover a MINIMAL vertex cover in a graph is a vertex cover that does not contain another vertex cover (deleting any vertex from the set would create a set of vertices that is not a vertex cover) Question: A minimal vertex cover isn't always a minimum vertex cover. Demonstrate this with a simple example. Can anyone get their head around this? I am failing to see the distinction between the two. More importantly, I'm having a hard time visualizing it. I seriously hope he's not gonna ask odd questions like this one on the exam!
