  • Sorting based on existing elements in xslt

    Hi , I want to sort in xslt based on existing set of pattern . Let me explain with the code: <Types> <Type> <Names> <Name>Ryan</Name> </Names> <Address>2344</Address> </Type> <Type> <Names> </Name>Timber</Name> </Names> <Address>1234</Address> </Type> <Type> <Names> </Name>Bryan</Name> </Names> <Address>34</Address> </Type> </Types> Right now I m just calling it and getting it like (all hyperlinks) Ryan Timber Bryan Now I don't want sorting on name but I have existing pattern how I want it to get displayed.Like Timber Bryan Ryan (Also I don't want to lose the url attached to my names earlier while doing this) I was thinking of putting earlier value in some array and sort based on the other array where I will store my existing pattern. But I am not sure how to achieve that..   • What's the best SOAP client library for Python, and where is the documentation for it?

    I've never used SOAP before and I'm sort of new to Python. I'm doing this to get myself acquainted with both technologies. I've installed SOAPlib and I've tried to read their Client documentation, but I don't understand it too well. Is there anything else I can look into which is more suited for being a SOAP Client library for Python? Edit: Just in case it helps, I'm using Python 2.6.

    take this linq into consideration: list.Where(sil => sil.XML.Element("ticket") != null && sil.XML.Element("ticket").Attribute("id").Value == smsRequestIn.TicketID) if the "ticket" element is not null it searches for it twice and hence is not very effective. Is there a way to use some sort of variables within the linq expression so I can reference the variable instead of doing a double search for the "ticket" element or is linq intelligent enough to not do a double search?

    I am using jquery table sorter and have two tables. Instead of sorting the data just in the first table, could there be a way to combine the data in the second table and sort both? I know this isn't possible because of the duplicate url-pattern values.   • Generic data input form in asp.net mvc application

    Hello, I have an application that have EF 16 classes that share this information: They all are classes only with a key field and a description. I think it should be a waste if I make a controller with just 1 method just to present a form to fill these classes info, then I was thinking in to make a generic form(with key, description) and dynamically fill the right class through a sort of selection the selected info in any way, any good suggestion or pattern to do that? Where the generic methods should be located.

    I'm using the grails navigation plugin and one of the things i want to do is have the menu item have a dynamic number in it for example static navigation = [ group:'tabs', order:7, title:'Mail', action:'index', subItems: [ [action:'pending', order:1, title:"Pending"], [action:'active', order:10, title:'Active'], [action:'completed', order:11, title:'Completed'] ] ] So i want to figure out a way to make the title Mail(3) or Mail(2) based on the amount of messages a user has. I know this will have to be set in the method or by a service of some sort i'm just not sure how to get it to update.
