• Learning Recommendations? Classroom? Tutorials?

  Hi there. Does anyone have any recommendations for a class (online) or tutorial that teaches android programing for dummies? It's frustrating knowing exactly what you want to do and no idea how to do it. Something that uses basic language and explains each line in detail to help a person remember how to do it later. • MKAnnotation - Map Pin callout pops up behind other map pins.

  My map pins can be quite densely populated so that when a pin is selected the callout pops up but is mostly obscured by all the other map pins - I can bring the Map Pin to the front it there were a delegate for selected map pin ( not tapped callout, selected pin ). Any suggestions for a work around ?

  This line: used_emails = [row.email for row in db.execute(select([halo4.c.email], halo4.c.email!=''))] Returns: ['[email protected]', '[email protected]', '[email protected]', '[email protected]', '[email protected]'] I use this to find a match: if recipient in used_emails: If it finds a match I need to pull another field (halo4.c.code) from the database in the same row. Any suggestions on how to do this?

I am using TI DSPs and the compiler is something different than cc; I'd like to have one "environment file" that defines where the compiler is, and what the default flags are, and then be able to use this for several projects. • Using mod_negotiation to serve webp if the UA requests it.

  Is it possible to use mod_negotiation to serve up a webp image if the browser supports it, and a jpg otherwise? For instance, if I link to an image with the path /images/test, it serves the image found at /images/test.webp if the UA knows about webp, or jpg otherwise? I've tried poking around, but it seems that the Accept headers in Chrome at least look like Accept:*/*, rather than specifying the image type. If this isn't the way to do it, has anyone got any other suggestions?

  When you have a slow database app, the first suggestions that people make is to: Track the slow queries Add appropriate indexes In the case you are building your own application this is very logical, but when you use a CMS like Drupal, that are people have developed and tuned, is this approach valid? I mean, aren't Drupal tables already fine-tuned for performance? Even if I try to see which queries are the slow ones, what could I do about it? Re-write Drupal core?!?

After this operation I immediately need to load data from the generated sqlite db, which fails since I seem not able to determine when the zip is completely unpacked and/or the sqlite has been created.   I got a new laptop recently, and have been having trouble with it dropping wifi since I got it, the card is Qualcomm Atheros ar9485wb-eg. I've updated to the latest available drivers, currently 10.0.0.263, and tried other suggestions on the lenovo website, including uninstalling the driver and letting it install again. One thing I've noticed is when I look at the troubleshooting log, it gives the device driver number as 10.0.0.209. Does this mean the update isn't applying properly? Any help appreciated, Thanks

I've found TOR endpoints, nothing that's readily available to be shot into a script (needs to be parsed) but they work. However I need a list which goes beyond TOR yet I cannot find anything conclusive just yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
