    I have a Dell R710 running Win2008 R2 + Hyper-V with dual SAS 5/E HBA's. I'm building a Linux VM to install Bacula on and I need to connect it to my Dell PowerVault 124T via the SAS HBA. I've been doing some looking online and I have yet to find a straightforward answer on how to connect a SAS HBA to a VM, let alone a Linux VM. The flavor is Ubuntu 32-bit.

  • Windows XP SP3 client printer error over AD

    I have Windows Server 2008r2 and a Windows XP SP3 client machine in Active Directory. My problem is that I've installed the printer on the windows server and shared it, the permissions are right, but when i try to connect to that printer from the windows xp client, it throws the following errer: "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer". Again, the permissions are right. I think I'm missing something that I couldn't find on the web. :( please help!

    I currently have a WAG120N( http://www.linksysbycisco.com/EU/en/support/WAG120N) router and I would like to know if it's possible to configure it to connect to a different wireless network(WEP with no password) so I can get internet access on it and then to connect a pc to this router(WAG120N) so I can take advantage of the internet connection. Basically I think that my need is a kind of yagi antenna but as I already got this router I would like to know if I can use instead it of yagi . Thank you in advance for any answer !

    I have a video phone application running on OMAP 3530 board.The problem is when i connect the camera(pro 9000) through a powered USB hub (Inp:100to240v, OUT:5v,1A) everything works fine when I make a video call.But If i connect the camera directly to the OMAP3530 board and try to make a video call,OMAP board is not sending any video packets captured locally.And also the PIP(Picture In Picture) is disabled.

    Hi, I'm using Snow Leopard and I've just downloaded Google Chrome for Mac. However it doesn't load any page: This webpage is not available. Error 104 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_FAILED): The attempt to connect to the server failed. I've googled about it but I had no luck, only answers for Windows. Needless to say I have no firewalls and every other browser or application can connect to the internet.

    Hi, I used to remote access the SBS 2003 server through RDC and it has been working all the time but now I am unable to connect to the server. Whenever I pressed the "Connect" button on the Remote Desktop Connection dialog, a dialog with messages like "Connecting to: xx.xx.xx.xx" and "Configuring remote session..." appeared and then disappeared quickly, leaving the Remote Desktop Connection dialog there. I made a iptables-save , /etc/init.d/netwokring restart... but I still can connect from any IP, any clue ?

I have seen the new Remote Desktop and want to use (I have three monitors at office and three at home) In the specs I saw where in order to use the multimon features you must connect to a Windows 7 client (I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit in my office) When I connect to it (from XP running RDP 7) I can't get all my monitors to come up, just one Is there something I am doing wrong?     One of our machines was recently put behind an SSL proxy and since then I can't connect to puppet with "Could not evaluate: certificate verify failed." I have checked that the dates match, regenerated the certificates but to no avail. Debugging the verification with "openssl s_client -showcerts -connect puppetmaster:puppetmasterport" shows "Verify return code: 0 (ok)" Initially the Proxy SSL Certificate was not recognized with a "Verify return code: 20 (unable to get local issuer certificate)" problem which was then fixed with the answer in the question: Adding root certificate to CentOS 5

    I was thinking about getting a dedicated server (I may need the extra power that a VPS can't provide) from The Planet but I don't know to much about how you would operate one. I have experience in setting up multiple VPS's on Linode and Slicehost, I just select my OS in their CP and connect via SSH in putty and do my thing. Is it the same with dedicated servers (just chose you OS from the CP and connect via SSH and put on whatever crap you want)?
