• UITableView performance degrading after adding subviews on cell iphone sdk

  Hi all, In my application, I'm adding a label and two buttons on cell of UItableView [I have not created a separate cell class]. I'm adding these to cell and not cell.contentview. After I run my application on IPhone, the tableview cell rendering after I move the cells up-down, is very jerky. Is it because I'm not adding the views on cell.contentView or because I've not created a custom class for cell? Can anybody please help? Thanks in advance.

• Html how to make a part on iframe, unvisible and unclickable externally? (my idea)

  I have a page (A) including a BUTTON with a function close_window() , however when I embed A to my main page (B) using iframe, the close_window() can't work as expected since there is no more window anymore, and I am not able to remove the button from the iframe since A is on another domain (Security issues prevents). What I want to do is make this button label invisible. And the only way I think is to put a white image just to the place where that button exists on my iframe, externally. is Smthing like that possible? I want the image to be on the top of iframe? Or do you have any other idea ? Thanks for helps.

  I am attempting to use a Canvas to create a simple Cad application. I have been able to get lines to draw as I want. For now the only other thing I need is text. The user should be able to edit the text in place. ?Is one of these better to use for this over the others? Rich Text TextBlock TextBox Label A more important question, though, is once I have chosen which class to use for implementation, how do I set and get the text value in code? Since the app is in essence a cad application, text will be added, deleted, and altered often, so I am not attempting to put these in XAML, but code-behind. That is why I am asking about how to do this in code. If the answer is "use X.SetValue()" (or that family of methods), then please tell me what I am supposed to do with the required DependencyProperty reference? TIA. Paul

• IEnumerable not null but calling Count() results in Exception

  I have code that's working beautifully on my development machine, but when deployed to the server is throwing null reference exception. So, I can't step through the code, but I've pinned down the culprit. But now I am puzzled. Here's the code. The question is below. Now here's the quandary.. The first line that sets the label returns False, so certs is not null. But the second line throws an null reference exception. How is this possible?

  I have several strings in my site that don't belong to any app, for example {% block title %}{% trans "Login" %}{% endblock %} or a modified authentication form used to set the locale cookie class AuthenticationFormWithLocaleOption(AuthenticationForm): locale = forms.ChoiceField(choices = settings.LANGUAGES, required = False, initial = preselectedLocale, label = _("Locale/language")) Now when I execute django-admin.py makemessages --all -e .html,.template in the site directory, it extracts the strings from all Python, .html and .template files, including those in my apps. That is because I develop my apps inside that directory: Directory structure: sitename myapp1 myapp2 Is there any way to extract all strings that are not in my apps? The only solution I found is to move the app directories outside the site directory structure, but I'm using bzr-externals (similar to git submodules or svn externals) so that doesn't make sense in my case. Moving stuff that needs translation into a new app is also possible but I don't know if that is the only reasonable solution.

  Hello, I have a problem acessing a IBOutlet. I have a NIB inside which there is a tableview, a toolbar and an UILabel (encasulated into a view). The controller (that is the file's owner) is defined as : @interface ChoixPeriodeController : UIViewController <UITableViewDelegate> { IBOutlet UILabel* __periodeInitialeLabel; } @property(nonatomic, retain) UILabel* periodeInitialeLabel; - (void) setSelectedPeriode:(Tache_TypePeriode)typePeriode; In the .m file, this function is called by the parent window to init the Label : - (void) setSelectedPeriode:(Tache_TypePeriode)typePeriode { NSMutableString* tmpString = [NSMutableString string]; [tmpString appendFormat:bla bla bla;....]; self.periodeInitialeLabel.text = tmpString; } Into this function, I can see that self.periodeInitialeLabel is at nil. I can't see why ? Everything is connected into IB... Do you see what can be the problem ?

  I have a set of 100 observations where each observation has 45 characteristics. And each one of those observations have a label attached which I want to predict based on those 45 characteristics. So it's an input matrix with the dimension 45 x 100 and a target matrix with the dimension 1 x 100. The thing is that I want to know how many of those 45 characteristics are relevant in my set of data, basically the principal component analysis, and I understand that I can do this with Matlab function processpca. Could you please tell me how can I do this? Suppose that the input matrix is x with 45 rows and 100 columns and y is a vector with 100 elements.

  I'm experimenting with jquery and svg, I make up my path but now I want to change that (based on some user input) I do something like var dpath = $('path').attr("d"); $('path').attr("d",dpath.replace("150 150", "450 450")); which works fine, but this not useful when my path grows, so I wonder is there a possibility to put a label or a comment in the path to serve as a replace hook? searching for svg path comments gives me all. I'm close to write my own "replaceble" pseudo svg path code, but is there an alternative possible in svg? regards, Jeroen.

(i.e. something equivalent to what="1-f"). Is there a way to do it? Other suggestions in R other than using Hmisc are also very much welcomed.

• Implement Combobox/Option Menu funcionality on an iPhone interface?

  I want to give a list of choices on an iPhone GUI that works like a Combobox/Option menu. It needs to display the current selection, but on tapping it you should be able to change the current selection which will trigger a refresh of the screen. The option menu is letting the user choose which category a search is being performed under. So there is a default category and there are about 6 other choices. Idea 1: Use a label or button and when clicked on a new screen overlays that has all 6 options in a tableview, clicking on one closes the overlay screen and goes back to the main page with the updated value displayed. Idea 2: Should I use a totally different but native iPhone GUI widget like a Navbar at the bottom of the screen to reflect the different options?

• Comparing Page.User.Identity.Name to value in sql Table

  First, I am SO sorry if the answer is out there. I've looked and looked and feel this is such a simple thing that it should be obvious. I'm wanting to make sure only the person who added an event can modify it. Simple! I already have a datasource that has event_added_by as a data point. It is populating a FormView. SelectCommand="SELECT * FROM [tbl_events] WHERE ([event_ID] = @event_ID)" And I have Page.User.Identity.Name. How do I compare the two?   I am trying to make an effect on a button that when I mouse over it, it keeps jumping up and down smoothly and when mouse out it stops. My question is - how do I set the arrow style (for the entire subgraph - or for the entire graph), without having to copy paste "[arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot];" next to each edge connection?   It seems like it should be a simple concept. I need a vertical list. This list has an image with a checkbox and pathname of that image underneath it. The user should be able to check the checkboxes of the images they want to appear in their "shopping cart". The images, checkbox label, and list are populated by an XmlList. How can I do this in Flex 3.5 and Actionscript and have a button that when clicked, display a list of the checked items??

  Hi, I've been working with GWT for awhile, I can't find a way to integrate it with a preexisting website which is a real downer. My page content is already generated for me using jsp, like: <div id='A'></div> <div id='B'></div> etc. there is no way for me to do something like this though: public void onModuleLoad() { SimplePanel spA = new SimplePanel( Document.getElementById("A")); spA.add(new Label("hello")); SimplePanel spB = new SimplePanel( Document.getElementById("B")); spB.setWidth("200px"); etc .. } seems like there's no way to just wrap a pre-existing element.   I don't know much about jquery at all, so bear with my ignorance, but I'm pretty sure I can accomplish this with jquery. I need jquery to check if an element exists, and if so, add a class to a different element. For example, if class "minimal-price-link" exists, then add a class to "regular-price" or what I really am wanting to do is make the regular-price strikethrough.
