• jquery load php file - result is not complete

  I'm trying to load or better reload a DIV with content from an included php file. so the file is included in the webadmin.php from the location webadmin/pages.php. Then i alter some data in the DB through serializing. Now I would like to reload the pages.php from the callback of the serialize POST with load();. This all works fine up until the moment the data is supposed to be displayed in the div - i believe its because the php file is loaded from a different location, so the include paths for the DB Connection etc are probably wrong... Should I really write an extra PHP File for jquery or is there a way to tell jquery where to load it from? Its the first time I'm doing this - so bear with me for a moment on this one... Thanks! • What is the maximum number of controls that a VBA form can hold?

  I'm currently building an Excel 2003 app that requires a horribly complex form and am worried about limitations on the number of controls. It currently has 154 controls (counted using Me.Controls.Count - this should be accurate, right?) but is probably only about a third complete. The workflow really fits a single form, but I guess I can split it up if I really have to. I see evidence in a Google search that VB6 (this usually includes VBA) has a hard limit of 254 controls in a form. However, I created a dummy form with well over 1200 controls which still loaded and appeared to work just fine. I did get some 'out of memory' errors when trying to add specific combinations of controls though, say 800 buttons and 150 labels, leading me to think that any limit might be affected by the memory requirements of each type of control. Does anyone have any information that might help ensure that I or, more importantly, other users with differing environments don't run into any memory issues with such a large form?

• Launch external application from C++ program and attach it to visual 2008 debugger while debugging host in WinAPI

  Basically I have Host and Child program. I do not have sources for Child so I can't change anything in it. I want to launch Host from debugger, which at some point should launch Child program. I want to attach Child automatically for debugging session as well (so any breakpoints set in DLL sources loaded under Child process will hit). How to do this in Visual Studio 2008 C++ with standard WinAPI? • Possible to set filter on subform from parent form before subform data loads

  I have frmParentForm with multiple controls used to build a filter for frmSubForm. On frmParentForm_Load, I am doing (simplified example): Me.sbfInvoice_List.Form.filter = "[created_on] >= #" & Me.RecentOrderDateCutoff & "#" Me.sbfInvoice_List.Form.FilterOn = True The problem is, on initial load, it seems the subform load is occurring first, so the entire table is loaded. Is there a way (in a different event perhaps) to properly set the subform filter from the parent form so it is applied before the subform does its initial data load? (The subform can exist on its own, or as a child of many different parent forms (sometimes filtered, sometimes not), so I'd rather not put some complicated hack in the subform itself to accomplish this.)

• Referenced Assembly won't load

  I've got a visual studio 2010 project which publishes an assembly called myAssembly.ddl. I then want to reference myAssembly.dll from an existing vs 2008 project. If I try to load the reference it comes up with an yellow exclamation mark next to it, suggesting that the assembly wasn't loaded. However, I'm not getting any error messages during that process. Obviously, if i try to import the namespace in my code it doesn't compile. Converting myAssembly.dll to a .net version 3.5 doesn help. Nor does copying the assembly to a different directory and referencing it from there. Any ideas?

  I'm trying to create an vocabulary study application using Obj-C and the Cocoa frameworks. I have about two week's experience in both areas and have reached an edge of my current knowledge. Here's where I'm stuck. When I press a checkbox, a corresponding plist is loaded into memory as an NSDictionary. I want to generate a "Label: Textfield" pair for each key:value pair, where the Label is the key. When the text typed into the Textfield matches the key's value, I want the Label's text to turn green. So how would I generate this grid, and once generated, how would I make the text green upon correct input? Thanks!

I need to load the control dynamically actually as a modal pop up I get this code VendorProductSearch uc = Page.LoadControl("~/Controls/Proposal/VendorProductSearch.ascx") as VendorProductSearch; uc.ShowVendorProductSearch(true); _tempPlaceHolder.Controls.Add(uc); it works fine the control gets loaded properly but onclick of any button the second time the control disappears ??? • "Cannot load ViewState" after dynamic control changed

  In my ASP.NET page I have to dynamically choose and load a custom control, depending on the selected value in a dropdownlist.However I encountered the following problem: When the parameters of the dynamically loaded control are changed, and then the selection in the dropdownlist is changed( thus forcing me to load a different dynamic control the next time the page reloads ), I end up with a "Cannot load ViewState" exception.I assume that this happens because the ViewState is trying to restore the parameters of the old control and it doesn't find it. So , is there any way to stop the viewstate from attempting to restore the state of the non-existig control?

• XNA .FBX Vertex Color Missing

  When I vertex paint and export my models from Blender (or Maya) for use in my XNA 4.0 project, I somehow lose the vertex color channel for the model. I use no custom model object or content pipelines and my own shader throws me the error: The current vertex declaration does not include all the elements required by the current vertex shader. Color0 is missing. I tryed to reopen the model in other modeling tools and the vertex colors are there. What could cause the vertex color channel to not get loaded in XNA 4.0?   I am inspecting some interesting behaviors of browser, I don't know it's in standard or not. If I put everythin inside <head></head>, the browser will only begin to render the page after all the resouces in head is retrieved. So I am thinking that put as little as possible things into head is one of the important website optimization techniques, is it right? My question is: If I put script/css in body or other parts of the html, how can I know that script has been loaded successfully so that I will not be calling a undefined function?

• Uploading a csv file to sql server - Identity problem.

  Given a column structure in a CSV file of: First_Name, Last_Name, Date_Of_Birth And a SQL Server table with a structure of ID(PK) | First_Name | Last_Name | Date_Of_Birth (Field ID is an Identity with an auto-increment of 1) How do i arrange it so that SQL Server does not attempt to insert the First_Name column from the csv file into the ID field? For info the csv is loaded into a DataTable and then copied to SQL Server using SqlBulkCopy Should i be modifying the csv file before the import add the ID column (The destination table is truncated prior to import, so no need to worry about duplicate key values.) Or perhaps adding an id column to the Datatable? Or Is there a setting in Sql Server that i may have missed?

  Hi! I use Bill Duney wavefront obj loader. I'm new in opengles and it was really helpful. unfortunately... I exported a revit file to dwg and then open it with blender/google sketchUp and then to wavefront obj. Next, add my files to your loader and got strange results. The project load correctly vertex and normals but does a strange results with materials (I use only material, without textures). The one file is loaded with some materials on different faces the other, doesn't load materials but after a click makes the model green. If you have a minute and could help me out, please. • Reversing the effects of mkimage to get an original gzipped file back

  Hello, We develop for a specific embedded device at our company, and part of that is making initial root disks that get loaded onto the devices over ethernet via netboot. We've experienced some problems, and as a result, the original folder with the contents of the initial root disks was lost along with its backups, but we do still have the initrd images, that have been created by gzipping the contents of a ramdisk that's been mounted as a local loop device, and then running mkimage on the gzipped file. Is there any way to undo the effects of mkimage and obtain the original gzipped content so that we can recover the original images ?

• jquery iterating through newly created elements

  Hi All, I am trying to add new rows in my table, and save them into DB. First, I use .append() to append rows on the table: $("#tablename").append("<tr id='newRow'><td>newly added row</td></tr>"); The appending function works fine. My page displays the correct result. However, I am unable to select them with $("#newRow").each(function () { alert "it never reaches here!"; }); I am guessing it is because the elements are added after the DOM is loaded. Can anyone please tell me how I can iterate through all my newly added elements? Thank you.

• Scale div in an upwards direction, instead of down?

  I have a custom info window over a google map, sometimes these info windows contain an image. When they do, the info window scales down over the marker it is positioned over as soon as the image has finished loading. So the images take longer to load and the div's position has already been calculated by the time the image is finished loading. I do believe there is a way of checking if an image has finished loaded, but that seems a long route - is there not a simple way with JS or CSS to get the div to scale upwards instead of down. Anyone have any clues?

• xslt dropdown problems

  I have a page with two drop down boxes created in a xslt. I am using onchange in both blocks to call a javascript function. If both drop downs are loaded on the page only the first drop down has a working onchange. I checked the view source code and it shows both onchange events. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? ex: two drop downs, select first one, it refreshes, select second it does nothing, select first one and it still refreshes. code removed.

  We are using Visual Studio 2008 and would like to know if there is a way to create a (keyboard or toolbar) shortcut for the 'View in Browser'-command, but with a specific page from a specific (loaded) project. We always start testing/debugging our app from "Somepage.aspx" from "Project-x". I would like to make a shortcut that does 'View in Browser' with this specific page/file, from this specific project. So even if I am currently working on another file in another project (from the same solution) it should still work... Anybody know if this is possible, and if so, how this can be achieved? Thanks! • YUI Autocomplete: itemSelectEvent getting lost with IE6 and IE7?

  I'm using YUI Autocomplete (latest version loaded using loader as of today (May 14th, 2010), which looks to be 2.8.1, with the following options: ac = new YAHOO.widget.AutoComplete("mynode", "autocomp_node", ac_ds, {typeAhead: true, forceSelection: true}); ac.itemSelectEvent.subscribe( function(type, args) { alert("hey:" + args[2][1]); $('#parent_id').val(args[2][1]); }); The itemSelectEvent catches selections in AutoComplete and fills in some data on the parent. This works on FF, Chrome, Safari, and IE8. On IE6 and IE7, however, the event never seems to trigger. To replicate: In the autocomplete field, allow it to autofill for you, then hit enter. This should select the autofill and move on to the next field (that's what it does in other browsers). With IE6 and IE7 it seems to instead trigger the form submission - the itemSelectEvent never fires (or perhaps fires after the form submission?). Has anyone seen this? Any work-arounds?

• Caching the response of an ASP.NET HTTP Handler server and client side

  Is it possible to cache the response of a http handler on the server and on the client? This doesn't seem to be doing the trick: _context.Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.Public); _context.Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.Now.AddDays(7)); The _context is the HTTPContext passed as an argument to the ProcessRequest method on the IHttpHandler implementation. Any ideas? Update: The client does cache images that are loaded through the httphandler, but if another client does the same call, the server hasn't got it cached. So for each client that asks for the image, the server goes to the database (and filestream). If we use a aspx page instead of a httphandler together with a caching profile, then the images are cached both on the client and the server.

  i like jquery lightbox control looks nice and shows me a title one 1 of x images etc. I need exactly the same thing but without pop up. So whas is now visible after i click thumnail of image i want it to by visible as inline content somewhere on my page with first image loaded and then i could just use next prev. of course in this case, close would not be applicable. Does anybode know such a jquery plugin or how to change lightbox to work withoud popup? Thanks.
