  • C# integer primary key generation using Entity Framework with local database file (Sdf)

    Hello, I'm writing a standalone application and I thought using Entity Framework to store my data. At the moment the application is small so I can use a local database file to get started. The thing is that the local database file doesn't have the ability to auto generate integer primary keys as SQL Server does. Any suggestions how to manage primary keys for entities in a local database file that will be compatible with SQL Server in the future? Thanks, Ronny

  • How many disks is too many in this RAID 5 configuration??

    HP 2012i SAN, 7 disks in RAID 5 with 1 hot spare, took several days to expand the volume from 5 to 7 300GB SAS drives. Looking for suggestions about when and how I would determine that having 2 volumes in the SAN, each one with RAID 5, would be better?? I can add 3 more drives to the controller someday, the SAN is used for ESX/vSphere VMs. Thank you...

    This chart works fine in Google charts, but when rendered in Eastwood, it doesn't use the 2nd provided color, rather it applies the first color to both bars in the chart. http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=bvg&chs=150x150&chd=t:18,81&chco=FFF000|00FFFF&chxt=x,y&chl=Bar1|Bar2&chtt=Chart Any suggestions as to why this could be?     I have an entity context that includes three tables (see diagram here). The first is a table that contain products, the second contains recipes. The joining table has fields for IDs in both the products and recipes table as well as a 'bit' field called 'featured'.     I would like to use the following to target the last link (a) of the last ul inside my div. So this is what came to mind: #menu ul:last-child li a { /*.....*/ } I cant manually add a class to that element, and even if i wanted to do it dynamically i would still have to target the element the above way. Any ideas why this is not working? Thanks!
