• Error when importing spreadsheet, Sharepoint

  I am somewhat confused what the differences between a softlink, and a hardlink are (on unix). It seems like a softlink is the same as a shortcut in windows or an alias on Mac OS X. (Can someone confirm this?) Softlinks can link to both directories and files. I am uncertain of what a hardlink does or if it is useful.. Is it better to use one instead of the other? Thanks.

  Hi, I was thinking about virtualisation and how to explain it to a non-technical person and one of the things that I was wondering was how to explain the way that a VM is isolated and seperate from the phyiscal machine (so I can have a virus on a VM but this would never effect my physical host, right?). How does this technology work exactly? As I am a programmer, when I think of isolating processes, I think of using appdomains (I work with C# primarily). Thanks

  We are running Exchange 2007 with a mix of Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. Is it possible to set the Out of Office Assistant so that when OoO is enabled, it sends a reply to every single email the user receives? Also, is there something I can reference that covers the options for OoO such as length of time between replies, etc.? Thanks!

  Hi, I am trying to search users using wildcards. For example if i give sam, i should get all users preceded by sam. In Cisco Unified call manager they have suggested to Enable "Allow wildcard" checkbox. But i am not able to find this check box and not able to search using wildcards.
