• Which is the best notetaking tool? (premium softwares included)

  I have tried google notebook & evernote free version for notetaking. I found google notebook has very few features whereas evernote free version is consuming too much memory and sometimes responding very slowly.   When reading an email, the ESC key can be used to close the window. This doesn't work when you're composing an email. Is there any way to do this? This happened in T-Bird 2.x, as well, but I'm looking for a 3.0 solution. Thanks!

• Internet Explorer 8 remembering me (keeping cookies) in "New Session"

  From what I gather (e.g. http://tutorialfeed.blogspot.com/2009/06/ie-8-perk-access-multiple-gmail.html ) one can get a new IE8 window clean from older cookies and independent of what's going on in other windows. Alas, when I try that web sites still remember me in the window of the new session. Any ideas what's wrong in my setup? Thanks!

  I'm looking to setup a quick and dirty network boot server to install xp on a beatup laptop that has a bad cdrom but the option to "network boot" (compaq pasario 700) 1) what is the diffrence between pxe and Ris 2) which one is most likely to be the one used on the laptop mentioned above 3) is there a windows program to run a boot server 4) what files will i need to have can i jut use the cd or do i need to rip it to files or and iso? thanks Rob

• Low USB transfer speed

  Hello, I am using Windows Vista, my Motherboard is Intel D102GGC2 The transfer speed through USB is very slow on my PC, just 2-3 MBps... I also use Ubuntu 9.10, and surprisingly the USB transfer speed is as expected, ie 16-17 MBps. So everytime i have to transfer Huge files i have to reboot into Ubuntu. What might be the Problem ??? I checked the Intel website for the ubdated drivers for my mobo, but they dont support my mobo now. Thanks

  Hi, I have some issue to install MySecureShell on CentOS 5.4 because I want to use Yum to install it (for maintainability). I get this error : yum install mysecureshell Error: Missing Dependency: libcrypto.so.10()(64bit) is needed by package mysecureshell-1.20-1.x86_64 (mysecureshell) I assume that the issue is that openSSL shipped with CentOS 5.4 is too old... I don't want to install everything manually so I would like to know if there is an equivalent to MySecureShell which would work with CentOS 5.4. Thanks!

  I keep getting "Data Execution Prevention" error in Windows Live Messenger. I have noticed that this is happening usually when I leave computer to get coffee, and screensaver comes up, WLM breaks. Is there any way to prevent this error from happening? I see I can turn off this "Data Execution Prevention", but is that safe, since I know that WLM is under heavy attacks from spammers/hackers? • Apache server immediately shuts down

  I just installed MySql 5.1.49, Apache 2.2.16 and PHP 5.3.3 on my Vista Home Basic. I followed the instructions in the "Sam's Teach Yourself", adding: LoadModule php5_module C:/php/php5apache2_2.dll PHPIniDir "C:/php/" and AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html I changed the Listening port to 8080 and the domain is localhost. When I start the server it pops open the window for less than a second and then closes. What am I missing? Thanks.

I know that IE has an option to print background but chrome does not .
