• What's the simplest way to create a Zend_Form tabular display with each row having a radio button?

  I've seen simple examples of rendering a Zend_Form using decorators, but I'm not sure they are able to handle the issue I'm facing very well. I query the database and get an array of user objects. I want to display these users as a form, with a radio button next to each of them and a submit button at the bottom of the page. Here's roughly what the form will look like: [user id] [email] [full name] ( ) 1 [email protected] Test user 1 (*) 2 [email protected] Test user 2 [SUBMIT] Is this something achievable in a reasonably straightforward way or do I need to use the ViewScript partial?

  I have a product category table with the following fields: cat_id (PK) Cat_name Cat_desc Parent_Cat_Id Now when a user wants to add a product he should be able to select multiple categories from a listbox(multiselection enabaled). But to let the user know the hierarchy of the categories, I need to display them in the following style: parent category 1 parent category 1-sub category 1 parent category 1-sub category 1-sub-sub category 1 parent category 1-sub category 1-sub-sub category 2 parent category 1-sub category 2 Parent category 2 ... I know that to achieve this I need to use recursive programming. But how can we do it via stored procedures? That would be much more efficient, right? Thanks in advance for your kind help.

My Website is in Java's [Google Web Toolkit] Framework 2.0.1 When we press FB-connect connect then FB's Login window comes, after that user enters email & pwd. When user clicks FB's connect button then Our website display in that Login window. Authentication and Connect Url is Proper http://localhost:8090/websitename/ How to solve this problem ? Where I did mistake ? Is there any solution? When I did same thing in GWT's development/Hosted mode with Authentication and Connect url http:/127.0.0.1:8888/ then works properly. Then why It create Probelm in localhost? :-/

• Asset tracking in "real-time" - how best to display in browser?

  I am developing an asset tracking system, standard LAMP, and now am wondering how best to present the data to the user in the browser. I expect to track and most a few thousand items, and to refresh them every second or so. I want to draw a floorplan or map of the area and represent the assets the assets symbolically on that (with different symbols for different classes of assets). Additionally, the user should be able to click on an asset to interact with it, and search for a particular asset and centre the screen on it, draw a circle round it, etc http://graphite.wikidot.com/ Looks good - is there any alternative? At its simplest, I suppose I could just generate a JPEG and display it, using CSS to let me know if/where a user clicks ... but what's the "best" way to do it?

  Hi guys, I would like to know if it is possible to re-size and re-position a greybox or shadowbox window to display in a certain div element? I am creating a template for a wordpress site, and I am using the default calendar, but when you click on a date inside of the calendar, the default action is to open it up in a new window. Would it be possible to mod greybox or shadowbox in such a way that when you click on a date, the box opens up over the calendar displaying the contents in it, instead of a new page? Or is there another way of achieving the desired result, maybe with jQuery or Javascript? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance!

  I have some Javascript/CSS issues with IE (no suprises?). So when I see the error in IE8, I go to Tools Developer Tools. Then I navigate to the correct DIV. I click on it, look around ... then I look again at my page, and the problem is fixed! This makes debugging pretty difficult... To see the display error, go to http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/home.do in IE, and look at the "Your Recent History" module.

• How do I display data in a table and allow users to copy selected data?

  Hi I have a long list of data that I want to display in table format to users. The data changes when the user performs certain actions in my app, but it is not directly editable. So the user can create a reasonably big table of data, but he can't change individual cells' values. However, I do want the data to be copy-able. So I want it to be possible for the user to select some or all of the cells, and do a ctrl-C to copy the data to his clipboard, and then a ctrl-V to paste the data to an external text editor. At the moment, I'm displaying the data in a ListView with a GridView and this works perfectly, except that GridView doesn't allow one to copy data. What other options can I try? Ours is a WPF app, coding in c#.

  I would like to intercept outgoing calls and pass them to a VOIP application. I see that the Google Voice application has a feature for displaying a question before each call is actually initiated. It provides the user with the choice: Initiate call via Google Voice Initiate call via standard call I would like a way to do something similar with my application (so that not all calls have to be routed through it). At the moment, I can intercept CALL events via a BroadcastReceiver, however, these are not allowed to open dialogs (thus making it possible to display the choice). What is the best way of achieving this goal?

  Long story short, I'm developing a theme template for a blog that enables you to view the posts in blocks. The main part of the post is displayed at first, then the secondary content is displayed over that when you hover over the post block. Everything works fine on a Mac Versions of all major browsers, but start browsing on a PC, and all hell breaks loose when you start trying to display content over Flash Video embeds. The flash element remains visible over the content. It's completely unusable. From a PC, you can view an example of the problem here: http://photorific.tumblr.com I'm almost certain this is a bug in the Flash Plugin for Windows, but I was wondering if anyone else had come across this problem before, and if there were any solutions.   Hello, This should be fairly simple, but I can't get my head around it. I have an event in my database with a startDate and an endDate. I need to display this event (based on the current date) on every day the event occurs. However I need to provide an option for admin to choose whether a webpart should be display in all pages or not. Finally I've found a nice article from Damon Armstrong that describes a way to store all personalization data of a group of pages into one record. Thus every changes the admin made for a webpart, affect whole pages. But it doesn't seems to be a solution for me.   I'm creating a "Madlibs" page where visitors can create funny story things online. The original files are in XML format with the blanks enclosed in XML tags (Such as blablabla <PluralNoun></PluralNoun> blablabla <Verb></Verb> ). The form data is created using XSL and the results are saved using a $_POST array. How do I post the $_POST array between the matching XML tags and then display the result to the page? And i wrote another function which will remove these dynamically added elements. I called them on mouseover and mouseout events of the row. now when i move mouse out the row to click the button they get disappeared bcoz of my mouseout function. So how can i proceed this? And what is the perfect method to create these kind of stuffs?

  I have an html page, which is a dynamically created asp/aspx page on http://host2.mydomain.com. I have no control over the html page. I cannot modify it in any such way. I cannot modify this page; so, setting document.domain is out of the question, unfortunately. I want to retrieve and display this page on http://host1.mydomain.com/page1.jsp using Ajax. FYI: host1 is being served by IIS 7 and Apache Tomcat (for JSP pages). And host2 is using IIS 7 and ASP. How can I retrieve this page using a Ajax POST request? Thank you.

• xvfb on a machine with a display, can an application run 'in the background?'

  I'm setting up to cron a web scraping job, using xvfb, firefox, and watir on my Mac OS X. In testing the script so far, firefox pops up visibly on the local desktop, the watir script executes, and then firefox exits (I quit firefox in my script). I'd like to set the xvfb DISPLAY such that firefox will run, but won't be seen on the local desktop, running 'in the background' so to speak. Nothing I've been able to find online discusses such a possibility - nor explains that it's not possible. Is it possible? If so, what do I need to do to make it work?

• MySQL Query, limit output display according/only to associated ID!

  So here's my situation. I have a books table and authors table. An author can have many books... In my authors page view, the user (logged in) can click an author in a tabled row and be directed to a page displaying the author's books (collected like this URI format: viewauthorbooks.php?author_id=23), very straight forward... However, in my query, I need to display the books for the author only, and not all books stored in the books table (as i currently have!) As I am a complete novice, I used the most simple query of: SELECT * FROM tasks_tb :)....this returns the books for me, but returns every single value (book) in the database, and not ones associated with the selected author. And when I click a different author the same books are displayed for them...I think everyone gets what I'm trying to achieve, I just don't know how to perform the query. I'm guessing that I need to start using more advanced query clauses like INNER JOIN etc. Anyone care to help me out :)

  I've unreal problem. I have a site, where are displaying images over an classical <img> tag. All images are loading from the database, where is URL column of the image. My problem is that three of ten images are not display. But if I open the source code and click at the URL of the image, I can see image. In source code is some looks like (just for a simple example): <img src = "http://some.image/1.jpg" alt = "description" height = "140" width = "187" /> But the biggest snag is that Opera displays all images correct, but just in FF, IE, Chrome are mentioned problems. I can not provide a screenshots, because the pages are a bit perverse. How can I show the site where the problem is? Or some advice? Thank you.
