    I have a neural network trained with backpropagation algorithm. I also create data set (input and target) random. Now I want to plot a decision region where each region is marked with a red star or with a blue circle according to whether it belongs to class 1 or -1.     Hallo all, In my institute, Tortoise is employed for the purpose of version control. I find, if a mdb file which belongs to the working copy of a project reporitory is opened thru Access, the ordinary will be labelled with an explamation mark. Since the database has not been modified, I don't unterstand why Tortoise regards the opening as a kind of modification. Thanks in advance for any tips. John

  • How can I draw a shadow beyond a UIView's bounds?

    I'm using the method described at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/805872/how-do-i-draw-a-shadow-under-a-uiview to draw shadow behind a view's content. The shadow is clipped to the view's bounds, although I disabled "Clip Subviews" in Interface Builder for the view. Is it possible to draw a shadow around a view and not only in a view? I don't want to draw the shadow inside the view because the view would receive touch events for the shadow area, which really belongs to the background.

    I have an issue with displaying product custom attributes. I've read every resources through google but still no success. The problem is that I have to show size attribute of configurable product on category grid and list view. Every solution on google suggested something like $_product->getAttributeText('size') but I ended up at just a single string - "S" or "M" instead of an array. How can I fetch all possible sizes of all simple products which belongs to particular configurable product without much hassle?

    I have a checkbox that belongs to "Foo" class. I have another "Preferences" class that sets the default for what that checkbox should be. I tried using f.check_box :email_preference, :value => preferences.email_preference but it doesn't work. I use this page to do new record creation as well as edit, so obviously for new records I would want to take the preferences.email_preference setting as a default, then for editing the record use the foo.email_preference.     Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on.     I'd assume that since the query language sits within the controller (typically) that it belongs to that component, but if I play devil's advocate I'd argue that the query language is execute within the domain of the model, and is tightly coupled to that component so it might also be a part of it.
