  • Apache, and logrotate instances

    - by OlivierDofus
    Hi! If I have one website and I want to rotate its logs, there's one instance of logrotate that is launched. There are as many logrotate instances launched as they are virtual websites. Here you can find mod_log_rotate, with a 1.3 version and (only) 2.0 version: http://www.hexten.net/wiki/index.php/Mod-log-rotate It's 6 years old. Is there something new, or maybe is there something like that in recent Apache versions? I didn't find anything like that, and I don't know if this code is still "usable" for recent Apache versions (2.2.x) Don't hesitate to edit my post to make it proper English, thanks a lot!

  • Image re sizing not working after rotation in Html5 canvas

    - by Deepu the Don
    In my HTML 5 + Javascript application, we can drag, re size and rotate image in Html 5 canvas. But after doing rotation, re sizing is not working. (I think it i related to finding dx,dy,not sure). Please help me to fix the code given below. Thanks in advance. <!doctype html> <html> <head> <style> #canvas{ border:red dashed #ccc; } </style> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(function(){ var canvas=document.getElementById("canvas"),ctx=canvas.getContext("2d"),canvasOffset=$("#canvas").offset(); var offsetX=canvasOffset.left,offsetY=canvasOffset.top,startX,startY,isDown=false,pi2=Math.PI*2; var resizerRadius=8,rr=resizerRadius*resizerRadius,draggingResizer={x:0,y:0},imageX=50,imageY=50; var imageWidth,imageHeight,imageRight,imageBottom,draggingImage=false,startX,startY,doRotation=false; var r=0,rotImg = new Image(); rotImg.src="rotation.jpg"; var img=new Image(); img.onload=function(){ imageWidth=img.width; imageHeight=img.height; imageRight=imageX+imageWidth; imageBottom=imageY+imageHeight; w=img.width/2; h=img.height/2; draw(true,false); } img.src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/139992952/stackoverflow/facesSmall.png"; function draw(withAnchors,withBorders){ ctx.fillStyle="black"; ctx.clearRect(0,0,canvas.width,canvas.height); ctx.save(); ctx.translate(imageX,imageY); ctx.translate(imageWidth/2,imageHeight/2); ctx.rotate(r); ctx.translate(-imageX,-imageY); ctx.translate(-imageWidth/2,-imageHeight/2); ctx.drawImage(img,0,0,img.width,img.height,imageX,imageY,imageWidth,imageHeight); ctx.restore(); if(withAnchors){ drawDragAnchor(imageX,imageY); drawDragAnchor(imageRight,imageY); drawDragAnchor(imageRight,imageBottom); drawDragAnchor(imageX,imageBottom); } if(withBorders){ ctx.save(); ctx.translate(imageX,imageY); ctx.translate(imageWidth/2,imageHeight/2); ctx.rotate(r); ctx.translate(-imageX,-imageY); ctx.translate(-imageWidth/2,-imageHeight/2); ctx.beginPath(); ctx.moveTo(imageX,imageY); ctx.lineTo(imageRight,imageY); ctx.lineTo(imageRight,imageBottom); ctx.lineTo(imageX,imageBottom); ctx.closePath(); ctx.stroke(); ctx.restore(); } ctx.fillStyle="blue"; ctx.save(); ctx.translate(imageX,imageY); ctx.translate(imageWidth/2,imageHeight/2); ctx.rotate(r); ctx.translate(-imageX,-imageY); ctx.translate(-imageWidth/2,-imageHeight/2); ctx.beginPath(); ctx.moveTo(imageRight+15,imageY-10); ctx.lineTo(imageRight+45,imageY-10); ctx.lineTo(imageRight+45,imageY+20); ctx.lineTo(imageRight+15,imageY+20); ctx.fill(); ctx.closePath(); ctx.restore(); } function drawDragAnchor(x,y){ ctx.save(); ctx.translate(imageX,imageY); ctx.translate(imageWidth/2,imageHeight/2); ctx.rotate(r); ctx.translate(-imageX,-imageY); ctx.translate(-imageWidth/2,-imageHeight/2); ctx.beginPath(); ctx.arc(x,y,resizerRadius,0,pi2,false); ctx.closePath(); ctx.fill(); ctx.restore(); } function anchorHitTest(x,y){ var dx,dy; dx=x-imageX; dy=y-imageY; if(dx*dx+dy*dy<=rr){ return(0); } // top-right dx=x-imageRight; dy=y-imageY; if(dx*dx+dy*dy<=rr){ return(1); } // bottom-right dx=x-imageRight; dy=y-imageBottom; if(dx*dx+dy*dy<=rr){ return(2); } // bottom-left dx=x-imageX; dy=y-imageBottom; if(dx*dx+dy*dy<=rr){ return(3); } return(-1); } function hitImage(x,y){ return(x>imageX && x<imageX+imageWidth && y>imageY && y<imageY+imageHeight); } function handleMouseDown(e){ startX=parseInt(e.clientX-offsetX); startY=parseInt(e.clientY-offsetY); draggingResizer= anchorHitTest(startX,startY); draggingImage= draggingResizer<0 && hitImage(startX,startY); doRotation = draggingResizer<0 && !draggingImage && ctx.isPointInPath(startX,startY); } function handleMouseUp(e){ draggingResizer=-1; draggingImage=false; doRotation=false; draw(true,false); } function handleMouseOut(e){ handleMouseUp(e); } function handleMouseMove(e){ mouseX=parseInt(e.clientX-offsetX); mouseY=parseInt(e.clientY-offsetY); if(draggingResizer>-1){ switch(draggingResizer){ case 0: //top-left imageX=mouseX; imageWidth=imageRight-mouseX; imageY=mouseY; imageHeight=imageBottom-mouseY; break; case 1: //top-right imageY=mouseY; imageWidth=mouseX-imageX; imageHeight=imageBottom-mouseY; break; case 2: //bottom-right imageWidth=mouseX-imageX; imageHeight=mouseY-imageY; break; case 3: //bottom-left imageX=mouseX; imageWidth=imageRight-mouseX; imageHeight=mouseY-imageY; break; } if(imageWidth<25) imageWidth=25; if(imageHeight<25) imageHeight=25; imageRight=imageX+imageWidth; imageBottom=imageY+imageHeight; draw(true,true); }else if(draggingImage){ imageClick=false; var dx=mouseX-startX; var dy=mouseY-startY; imageX+=dx; imageY+=dy; imageRight+=dx; imageBottom+=dy; startX=mouseX; startY=mouseY; draw(false,true); }else if(doRotation){ var dx=mouseX-imageX; var dy=mouseY-imageY; r=Math.atan2(dy,dx); draw(false,true); } } $("#canvas").mousedown(function(e){handleMouseDown(e);}); $("#canvas").mousemove(function(e){handleMouseMove(e);}); $("#canvas").mouseup(function(e){handleMouseUp(e);}); $("#canvas").mouseout(function(e){handleMouseOut(e);}); }); </script> </head> <body> <canvas id="canvas" width=800 height=500></canvas> </body> </html>

  • GridView items are displaying the wrong drawables sometimes.

    - by originalbryan
    I've implemented a GridView based on this tutorial. It works great unless open up the search dialog or rotate the screen then scroll around. When the search dialog and virtual keyboard appear, the drawables for each of my grid items shift. I can click on them and they do what I expect, except the drawable is wrong. The same problem happens when I go into landscape mode and scroll around. If I scroll down, up, the down again, the drawables are shuffled. For better illustration, let's say I have three objects, each with an image. Obj A shows an Apple Obj B shows a Banana Obj C shows a Cantaloupe When the shift occurs I end up with: Obj A shows an Cantaloupe Obj B shows a Banana Obj C shows a Apple The problem isn't consistent between the two causes (search dialog and screen rotate n' scroll), but each cause itself is consistent. Scrolling around repeatedly reveals a pattern as does the search dialog appearing. How can I stop this from happening?

  • Weird problem, with ghostscript and pdf files.

    - by kofucii
    Hello, am using ghostscript to create pdf file from postscript file. My PS file, doesn't have orientation instructions, so when I want to create landscape pdf file, I'm using ghostscript to rotate the page. The problem is, that ghostscript rotates only the first page, and when my pdf file is more than 1 page, the others, are not rotated correctly. Here is the command I'm using: cat $psinput | gs -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOuputFile="/tmp/pdf" \ -dAutoRotatePages="/None" -c "<< /Orientation 3 >> setpagedevice" \ 90 rotate 0 -595 translate -dNOPAUSE -dEPSCrop -f - -c -quit Does anybody have an idea how to correct this?

  • Programatically WPF Fade In (via extension methods)

    - by Dinis Cruz
    I'm trying to write a simple (stand alone) C# extension method to do a Fade-In of a generic WPF UIElement, but the solutions (and code samples) that I found all contain a large number of moving parts (like setting up a story, etc...) For reference here is an example of the type of API method I would like to create. This code will rotate an UIElement according to the values provided (fromValue, toValue, duration and loop) public static T rotate<T>(this T uiElement, double fromValue, double toValue, int durationInSeconds, bool loopAnimation) where T : UIElement { return (T)uiElement.wpfInvoke( ()=>{ DoubleAnimation doubleAnimation = new DoubleAnimation(fromValue, toValue, new Duration(TimeSpan.FromSeconds(durationInSeconds))); RotateTransform rotateTransform = new RotateTransform(); uiElement.RenderTransform = rotateTransform; uiElement.RenderTransformOrigin = new System.Windows.Point(0.5, 0.5); if (loopAnimation) doubleAnimation.RepeatBehavior = RepeatBehavior.Forever; rotateTransform.BeginAnimation(RotateTransform.AngleProperty, doubleAnimation); return uiElement; }); }

  • Combining Multiple SVG Transformations

    - by Andi
    I'm new to Snap.svg and SVG and experimenting with transformations (an illustraiting plunk can be found here). Basically I'm trying to move, scale and rotate a shape according to its configuration. This is what I've found out so far: rotating around a point is possible with rotate(angle, x, y) there is no direct transform method to scale around a point but it can be done as described in "SVG Essentials" However combining these transforms doesn't give me the expected result - my expected calculated center of the shape differs from the rendered one. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to correctly put these transforms together? Regards, Andi

    - by Meko
    HI I am starting to learn openGl for C++.but at stating point I stucked. I have 2 question that is the coordinates for drawing some objects? I mean where is X, Y and Z? Second one I am making tutorial from some sites. and I am trying to animate my triangle.In tutorial it works but on my computer not.I Also downloaded source codes but It doesnt move. Here sample codes. I thougt that problem is glutTimerFunc(). #include #include #ifdef APPLE #include #include #else #include #endif using namespace std; //Called when a key is pressed void handleKeypress(unsigned char key, int x, int y) { switch (key) { case 27: //Escape key exit(0); } } //Initializes 3D rendering void initRendering() { glEnable(GL_DEPTH_TEST); } //Called when the window is resized void handleResize(int w, int h) { glViewport(0, 0, w, h); glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glLoadIdentity(); gluPerspective(45.0, (double)w / (double)h, 1.0, 200.0); } float _angle = 30.0f; float _cameraAngle = 0.0f; //Draws the 3D scene void drawScene() { glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT | GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT); glMatrixMode(GL_MODELVIEW); //Switch to the drawing perspective glLoadIdentity(); //Reset the drawing perspective glRotatef(-_cameraAngle, 0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); //Rotate the camera glTranslatef(0.0f, 0.0f, -5.0f); //Move forward 5 units glPushMatrix(); //Save the transformations performed thus far glTranslatef(0.0f, -1.0f, 0.0f); //Move to the center of the trapezoid glRotatef(_angle, 0.0f, 0.0f, 1.0f); //Rotate about the z-axis glBegin(GL_QUADS); //Trapezoid glVertex3f(-0.7f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.7f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.4f, 0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-0.4f, 0.5f, 0.0f); glEnd(); glPopMatrix(); //Undo the move to the center of the trapezoid glPushMatrix(); //Save the current state of transformations glTranslatef(1.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); //Move to the center of the pentagon glRotatef(_angle, 0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); //Rotate about the y-axis glScalef(0.7f, 0.7f, 0.7f); //Scale by 0.7 in the x, y, and z directions glBegin(GL_TRIANGLES); //Pentagon glVertex3f(-0.5f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.5f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-0.5f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-0.5f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.5f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.5f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-0.5f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.5f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.0f, 0.5f, 0.0f); glEnd(); glPopMatrix(); //Undo the move to the center of the pentagon glPushMatrix(); //Save the current state of transformations glTranslatef(-1.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); //Move to the center of the triangle glRotatef(_angle, 1.0f, 2.0f, 3.0f); //Rotate about the the vector (1, 2, 3) glBegin(GL_TRIANGLES); //Triangle glVertex3f(0.5f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(0.0f, 0.5f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(-0.5f, -0.5f, 0.0f); glEnd(); glPopMatrix(); //Undo the move to the center of the triangle glutSwapBuffers(); } void update(int value) { _angle += 2.0f; if (_angle 360) { _angle -= 260; } glutPostRedisplay(); //Tell GLUT that the display has changed //Tell GLUT to call update again in 25 milliseconds glutTimerFunc(25, update, 0); } int main(int argc, char** argv) { //Initialize GLUT glutInit(&argc, argv); glutInitDisplayMode(GLUT_DOUBLE | GLUT_RGB | GLUT_DEPTH); glutInitWindowSize(400, 400); //Create the window glutCreateWindow("Transformations and Timers - videotutorialsrock.com"); initRendering(); //Set handler functions glutDisplayFunc(drawScene); glutKeyboardFunc(handleKeypress); glutReshapeFunc(handleResize); glutTimerFunc(24, update, 0); //Add a timer glutMainLoop(); return 0; }

  • Text rotation in IE 9

    - by John Bowden
    Hi there I'm attempting to rotate a piece of text on its end within a div using the following different methods. writing-mode: tb-rl; filter: FlipH FlipV; and: -ms-transform: rotate(-90deg); filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Matrix(M11=6.123233995736766e-17, M12=1, M21=-1, M22=6.123233995736766e-17, sizingMethod='auto expand'); Although the text rotates properly in all browsers using either method and even IE all the way up to and including 8. IE 9 produces a horrid pixelated text which is nigh unreadable. Alongside this, IE9 also subtly breaks the layout of various pieces in the application which could be part of the same underlying problem perhaps. If anyone knows a way around this I would be most appreciative. John

  • How could I make the SurfaceView and Button have a different orientation in a Activity

    - by ???
    I hava a simple program about video recording . I use the surfaceView to show the preview screen. and I also want to put some buttons on the screen. I put all the component mentioned above into a XML file which is "ipcam.xml" I use MediaRecorder , SurfaceView , SurfaceHolder to complete this program because the preview screen does not orientate correctly when I rotate my phone. so I use "setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE);" but , the button in the program is always in LANDSCAPE direction . it will not auto change direction when I rotate my phone , but the preview is ok!! so is there anyway to solve this problem. Thank you all very much in advance.

  • iPhone - Drawing 2D with OpenGL ES, fast and simple.

    - by Johannes Jensen
    I'm going to make a game for the iPhone, and I'm mostly going to be using images. I've read that using Quartz only is slow for actual games with high frame rates, so I was wondering if you guys had any good ideas for using OpenGL for rendering a game scene? I'm going to be using a lot of images, and I want to be able to freely rotate them. I've looked at Apple's examples GLSprite and GLPaint, but I don't really see anything I could use. All I want to do is be able to render images at specific positions, and want to be able to rotate them. I'm a noob at OpenGL, but I know Quartz.

  • Building a world matrix

    - by DeadMG
    When building a world projection matrix from scale, rotate, translate matrices, then the translation matrix must be the last in the process, right? Else you'll be scaling or rotating your translations. Do scale and rotate need to go in a specific order? Right now I've got std::for_each(objects.begin(), objects.end(), [&, this](D3D93DObject* ptr) { D3DXMATRIX WVP; D3DXMATRIX translation, rotationX, rotationY, rotationZ, scale; D3DXMatrixTranslation(&translation, ptr->position.x, ptr->position.y, ptr->position.z); D3DXMatrixRotationX(&rotationX, ptr->rotation.x); D3DXMatrixRotationY(&rotationY, ptr->rotation.y); D3DXMatrixRotationZ(&rotationZ, ptr->rotation.z); D3DXMatrixScaling(&translation, ptr->scale.x, ptr->scale.y, ptr->scale.z); WVP = rotationX * rotationY * rotationZ * scale * translation * ViewProjectionMatrix; });

  • Draw rectangle-like objects on a bitmap

    - by _simon_
    I am performing OCR (optical character recognition) on a bunch of images. Images are grouped into different projects (tickets, credit cards, insurance cards etc). Each image represents an actual product (for instance, if we have images of credit cards, picture1.jpg is image of my credit card, picture2.jpg is image of your credit card,... you get it). I have a settings.xml file, which contains regions of the image, where OCR should be performed. Example: <Project Name="Ticket1" TemplateImage="...somePath/templateTicket1.jpg"> <Region Name="Prefix" NumericOnly="false" Rotate="0"> <x>470</x> <y>395</y> <width>31</width> <height>36</height> </Region> <Region Name="Num1" NumericOnly="true" Rotate="0"> <x>555</x> <y>402</y> <width>123</width> <height>35</height> </Region> </Project> </Project Name="CreditCard" TemplateImage="...somePath/templateCreditCard1.jpg"> <Region Name="SerialNumber" NumericOnly="false" Rotate="90"> <x>332</x> <y>12</y> <width>20</width> <height>98</height> </Project> I would like to set these parameters through GUI (now I just write them into xml file). So, first I load a template image for a project (an empty credit card). Then I would like to draw a rectangle around a text, where OCR should be performed. I guess this isn't hard, but it would be great if I could also move and resize this rectangle object in the picture. I have to display all regions (rectangles) on the picture also. Also - there will probably be a list of regions in a listview, so when you click a region in this listview, it should mark it on the picture in a green color for example. Do you know for a library, which I could use? Or a link with some tips how to create such objects?

  • mismatchedtoken with antlr syntactic predicates

    - by varzan
    I have the following lexer rules in my grammar file: LINE : 'F' | 'G'; RULE : (('->' ('F' | 'G')) => 'F' | 'G' ) | LINE LINE + | LINE * (ROTATE + LINE+)+ ; fragment ROTATE : ('/' | '\\'); I'm basically trying to match productions that look like F - F/F\F\F/F. It successfully matches stuff like the above, but I'm guessing there's a problem with my syntactic predicate, since G - G produces a MismatchedTokenException. The predicate serves to disambiguate between single letters on the lhs of '-', which I want to be recognized as the LINE token, and those on the rhs, which should be RULEs. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

  • Finding good heuristic for A* search

    - by Martin
    I'm trying to find the optimal solution for a little puzzle game called Twiddle (an applet with the game can be found here). The game has a 3x3 matrix with the number from 1 to 9. The goal is to bring the numbers in the correct order using the minimum amount of moves. In each move you can rotate a 2x2 square either clockwise or counterclockwise. I.e. if you have this state 6 3 9 8 7 5 1 2 4 and you rotate the upper left 2x2 square clockwise you get 8 6 9 7 3 5 1 2 4 I'm using a A* search to find the optimal solution. My f() is simply the number of rotations need. My heuristic function already leads to the optimal solution but I don't think it's the best one you can find. My current heuristic takes each corner, looks at the number at the corner and calculates the manhatten distance to the position this number will have in the solved state (which gives me the number of rotation needed to bring the number to this postion) and sums all these values. I.e. You take the above example: 6 3 9 8 7 5 1 2 4 and this end state 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 then the heuristic does the following 6 is currently at index 0 and should by at index 5: 3 rotations needed 9 is currently at index 2 and should by at index 8: 2 rotations needed 1 is currently at index 6 and should by at index 0: 2 rotations needed 4 is currently at index 8 and should by at index 3: 3 rotations needed h = 3 + 2 + 2 + 3 = 10 But there is the problem, that you rotate 4 elements at once. So there a rare cases where you can do two (ore more) of theses estimated rotations in one move. This means theses heuristic overestimates the distance to the solution. My current workaround is, to simply excluded one of the corners from the calculation which solves this problem at least for my test-cases. I've done no research if really solves the problem or if this heuristic still overestimates in same edge-cases. So my question is: What is the best heuristic you can come up with? (Disclaimer: This is for a university project, so this is a bit of homework. But I'm free to use any resource if can come up with, so it's okay to ask you guys. Also I will credit Stackoverflow for helping me ;) )

  • How to get a 3D picture in an iphone app?

    - by wolverine
    In an application, i saw that they used to display pictures of vehicles. But what was amazing was when we touch and swipe in that picture, it rotates in 3d way left and right. And from the front view we can rotate and get to see its back view also. It is a very good feature and i was trying to replicate it. But couldnt get an idea of how and where to start. My doubts are Whats the actual format of the thing, it surely isn't a picture. How do they get to rotate it? Could someone give me an idea where i should start or where I should look upon?

  • [as3] air for android - stage.setOrientation deprecated in AIR 2.5 so how do I do it now?

    - by jason
    as3 air for android using flash CS5 my problem: testing an AIR app on my droid 2 global (with slide out keyboard) using stage.addEventListener(StageOrientationEvent.ORIENTATION_CHANGE, handleOrientationChange); this is only fired when the i slide the keyboard out and not when I rotate the phone. I have tried this with the auto orientation on and off and with the aspect to portrait and landscape. actually the auto orientation option does not seem to make a difference on or off. I need the orientation to change when i rotate the phone. I know i can use the accelerometer to do this but the problem with that is when I click on a textField with the keyboard closed only the vertical keyboard pops up and i need the other one to pop up when holding the phone sideways.

  • How can I bend an object in OpenGL?

    - by mindnoise
    Is there a way one could bend an object, like a cylinder or a plane using OpenGL? I'm an OpenGL beginner (I'm using OpenGL ES 2.0, if that matters, although I suspect, math matters most in this case, so it's somehow version independent), I understand the basics: translate, rotate, matrix transformations, etc. I was wondering if there is a technique which allows you to actually change the geometry of your objects (in this case by bending them)? Any links, tutorials or other references are welcomed!

  • Setting up OpenGL camera with off-center perspective

    - by user5484
    Hi, I'm using OpenGL ES (in iOS) and am struggling with setting up a viewport with an off-center distance point. Consider a game where you have a character in the left hand side of the screen, and some controls alpha'd over the left-hand side. The "main" part of the screen is on the right, but you still want to show whats in the view on the left. However when the character moves "forward" you want the character to appear to be going "straight", or "up" on the device, and not heading on an angle to the point that is geographically at the mid-x position in the screen. Here's the jist of how i set my viewport up where it is centered in the middle: // setup the camera // glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glLoadIdentity(); const GLfloat zNear = 0.1; const GLfloat zFar = 1000.0; const GLfloat fieldOfView = 90.0; // can definitely adjust this to see more/less of the scene GLfloat size = zNear * tanf(DEGREES_TO_RADIANS(fieldOfView) / 2.0); CGRect rect; rect.origin = CGPointMake(0.0, 0.0); rect.size = CGSizeMake(backingWidth, backingHeight); glFrustumf(-size, size, -size / (rect.size.width / rect.size.height), size / (rect.size.width / rect.size.height), zNear, zFar); glMatrixMode(GL_MODELVIEW); // rotate the whole scene by the tilt to face down on the dude const float tilt = 0.3f; const float yscale = 0.8f; const float zscale = -4.0f; glTranslatef(0.0, yscale, zscale); const int rotationMinDegree = 0; const int rotationMaxDegree = 180; glRotatef(tilt * (rotationMaxDegree - rotationMinDegree) / 2, 1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glTranslatef(0, -yscale, -zscale); static float b = -25; //0; static float c = 0; // rotate by to face in the direction of the dude float a = RADIANS_TO_DEGREES(-atan2f(-gCamera.orientation.x, -gCamera.orientation.z)); glRotatef(a, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0); // and move to where it is glTranslatef(-gCamera.pos.x, -gCamera.pos.y, -gCamera.pos.z); // draw the rest of the scene ... I've tried a variety of things to make it appear as though "the dude" is off to the right: - do a translate after the frustrum to the x direction - do a rotation after the frustrum about the up/y-axis - move the camera with a biased lean to the left of the dude Nothing i do seems to produce good results, the dude will either look like he's stuck on an angle, or the whole scene will appear tilted. I'm no OpenGL expert, so i'm hoping someone can suggest some ideas or tricks on how to "off-center" these model views in OpenGL. Thanks!
