  • Having an issue with Nullable MySQL columns in SubSonic 3.0 templates

    Looking at this line in the Settings.ttinclude string CheckNullable(Column col){ string result=""; if(col.IsNullable && col.SysType !="byte[]" && col.SysType !="string") result="?"; return result; } It describes how it determines if the column is nullable based on requirements and returns either "" or "?" to the generated code. Now I'm not too familiar with the ? nullable type operator but from what I can see a cast is required. For instance, if I have a nullable integer MySQL column and I generate the code using the default template files it returns a line similar to this: int? _User_ID; When trying to compile the project I get the error: Cannot implicitly convert type 'int?' to 'int'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I checked teh Settings files for the other database types and they all seems to have the same routine. So my question is, is this behaviour expected or is this a bug? I need to solve it one way or the other before I can procede. Thanks for your help.

    Is it possible to change the font color for a row based on a value in one of the columns? My table has a column that displays a status. The value of the column is going to either be Failed or Success. If it is Success I would like for that rows font be green. If the status equals Failed, I want that rows font be red. Is this possible, if so where would I put the logic.     Hello! I wonder how calculators work with precision. For example the value of sin(M_PI) is not exactly zero when computed in double precision: #include <math.h> #include <stdio.h> int main() { double x = sin(M_PI); printf("%.20f\n", x); // 0.00000000000000012246 return 0; } Now I would certainly want to print zero when user enters sin(p). I can easily round somewhere on 1e–15 to make this particular case work, but that’s a hack, not a solution. When I start to round like this and the user enters something like 1e–20, they get a zero back (because of the rounding). The same thing happens when the user enters 1/10 and hits the = key repeatedly — when he reaches the rounding treshold, he gets zero. And yet some calculators return plain zero for sin(p) and at the same time they can work with expressions such as (1e–20)/10 comfortably. Where’s the trick?

  • Chrome pop-up blocker fail?

    I have this problem since just a few days. I've been a heavy Chrome user for several years, but it never happened before: Sometimes absolutely uncalled for pop-ups appear, when I click something absolutely legit. It seems to happen at a very precise rate of two pop-ups every hour or so. The pop-ups are not very varied, it seems to be a fixed set of some 4-5 ads. At first I thought I caught some malware, but after a full scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, I found absolutely nothing. In addition the problem exists only with Chrome. When I use Firefox, this never ever happens. What is even more puzzling is that it happens on both of my rigs and started on the same day. I have a removable storage that I dock to both of them and access one machine from the other via RDP, but still... It seems this is a problem that others face too. See this Google forum and here. Could it be that the latest Chrome build is just acting up? (Just in case it matters: I run Chrome version 24.0.1312.57 m on Win 7.)

The problem is, when I assign a Point to the map, and then later create a new, but equal point and use it as a key, the map behaves as though that key is not in the map.   • Strange Bug in iPhone SDK

    Hi all, I found a strange bug in iphone sdk. I try to explain it: I have a number of uibuttons in a view. They are all just images. Every buttons has a title but that is not displayed so you just see the images (all 80x80). I made it all in IB. In my code I position those buttons. But for all buttons that title starts with a 't' the title displays in the simulator (also on the device). The title of the other buttons are not shown just those where the title starts with a 't'. I have no clue what this could be?! I hope I could describe the problem.

[ in other-words, a lot of networking devices ] How are these MAC addresses determined? Will we ever run out of them?     I have a SQL query in which I am passing sysdate to the query problem is that when there is no matching date in table with sysdate then it don't shows the zero even if there is nvl applied here is my query select * from molasses where trunc(trn_dte) = trunc(sysdate) But it show data only when current date is present in table but I want to show zero if no data found in table.please help me to do this in oracle 10 g. Because some times the situation is like above and I have to display zero when no data found

    Here's what I've got so far: def encodeFive(zip): zero = "||:::" one = ":::||" two = "::|:|" three = "::||:" four = ":|::|" five = ":|:|:" six = ":||::" seven = "|:::|" eight = "|::|:" nine = "|:|::" codeList = [zero,one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine] allCodes = zero+one+two+three+four+five+six+seven+eight+nine code = "" digits = str(zip) for i in digits: code = code + i return code With this I'll get the original zip code in a string, but none of the numbers are encoded into the barcode. I've figured out how to encode one number, but it wont work the same way with five numbers.

  • What's the importance of restoring SQL Server system databases (model, master, etc.)?

    I had to restore some production databases to a different drive on the same Microsoft SQL Server 2005 machine. That worked fine and the application using the databases is back online. However, i have not restored the system (or default?) databases that SQL Server creates on its own (model, master, etc.). My question is, what is the role of these databases? and how important it is that i restore them?

  • CSS Zebra Stripe a Specific Table tr:nth-child(even)

    I want to zebra stripe only select tables using. I do not want to use jQuery for this. tbody tr:nth-child(even) td, tbody tr.even td {background:#e5ecf9;} When I put that in a css file it affects all tables on all pages that call the same stylesheet. What I would like to do is selectively apply it to specific tables. I have tried this, but it doesn't work. // in stylesheet .zebra_stripe{ tbody tr:nth-child(even) td, tbody tr.even td {background:#e5ecf9;} } // in html <table class="zebra_even"> <colgroup> <col class="width_10em" /> <col class="width_15em" /> </colgroup> <tr> <td>Odd row nice and clear.</td> <td>Some Stuff</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Even row nice and clear but it should be shaded.</td> <td>Some Stuff</td> </tr> </table> And this: <table> <colgroup> <col class="width_10em" /> <col class="width_15em" /> </colgroup> <tbody class="zebra_even"> The stylesheet works as it is properly formatting other elements of the html. Can someone help me with an answer to this problem? Thanks.
