  Is there a way to simulate a malfunctioning device or a faulty cable in a FC SAN network? edit: I know shutting down a port on a switch is an option, I'd like to simulate high error rates though.   SQL Server can be connected from local system but can not be connected from remote system in the network. The error code is 40 from Visual Studio and 1326 when I try to connect to SQL Server from Management Studio. Firewall isn't the problem TCP/IP connection is enabled from SQL Server There are 2 pc terminals that can connect to the SQL Server but the 3th one cannot and using the same connection strings so the connection string is right It is SQL server 2000 any help will be appreciated thanks

• unlock-bde application not found error prevalent in Windows 8

  I have encrypted a drive with BitLocker in Windows 8 Pro, but the drive will not auto-unlock. I can manually unlock the drive from BitLocker in the Control Panel. However from Windows Explorer, I keep seeing the "unlock-bde" command that reports the error "application not found." Anyone know how to permanently fix this issue so it will auto-unlock the encrypted drive upon login to Windows 8 and it does not reoccur?

  I'm using RabbitVCS to work with Google Code, and I just recently started having problems with trying to commit. Whenever I try to commit, it says... Commit failed Server sent unexpected return value (500 Internal Server Error) in response to Checkout request for (some file that is involved in the commit. The file it fails on isn't consistent). • Sharepoint 2010 moving site collection to different database error

  I am trying to move a site collection from one content database to another content database. First I used the following PowerShell command: New-SPContentDatabase -Name New_DB -WebApplication http://portal/ I confirmed that this did in fact create the DB in the SQL Server. I then used the following command: Move-SPSite http://portal/sites/hr -DestinationDatabase New_DB This generates an error stating that the "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object" Can anyone help point me in the right direction with this? • 403 error with codeignitor

  When I type in the standard web address for my site, I get a 403 error. However, when I type in a more exact address, say pointing to an index.php file, everything shows up fine. I'm using Anodyne Productions' Nova (SMS 3) which uses codeignitor. All accompanying software (PHP/MySQL) is compatible. I'm not a very technical person, so I'm hoping that this is an easy fix. • local host gives error 403 on Ubuntu

  Hello I am new to ubuntu linux and am currently trying to configure my netbeans to work with PHP. I have found several tutorials to install all the applications I need and have installed a virtual directory for netbeans to run in. Unfortunately, whenever netbeans or I myself go to my local host I get an error 403. I tried modifying my settings to allow from localhost (instead of allow from all) but this did not work and am completely out of ideas.

• Nginx Load Balancer 403 error

  I am trying to install nginx as a load balancer with apache backends, so that when I point my sites to the nginx server it serves up the content from the apache backend. I have the apache configuration set up correctly on both (i.e when I go to the site on the apache servers it works great) but when I use the nginx load balancer as the site I get 403 error. I have no idea why as it isn't even accessing any files on the server, thusly there aren't any files to be forbidden access to.   My computer was working fine for months but now when it starts up the Windows XP screen comes up to show the computer is starting up but then a blue screen appears with the error below: BAD_POOL_CALLER STOP: 0x000000C2 (0x00000043, 0xDB3C6000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I have tried booting off the Windows XP CD and trying to do a re-installation but when the setup try's to query the disk the setup crashes and exists. I've run diags and that says everything is fine. Any ideas?

  My system doesn't boot at all, upon starting it takes me to the Windows Error Recovery screen saying "Windows failed to start, a recent software or hardware change might be the cause" and gives two options Launch System Repair (Recommended) Start Windows normally But neither options work, upon clicking either of them, some progress bars get displayed and the screen just freezes on "Starting Windows". I tried booting from the Windows 7 disk but it too freezes on the "Starting Windows" screen. I even tried booting from ubuntu, slax linux, but they don't work too.

  My PC keeps reporting the following error in the event viewer around every 10-15 minutes: Faulting application , version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000. Whenever it happens, the XP theme change to classic theme then change back to the normal theme. The network goes down and I must restart PC for the network to come back online. What could be causing this and how do i fix it?
