• Problem with input filter using doxygen 1.6.3 on windows XP

  I am trying to use doxygen to generate documentation for some matlab classes I have written. I am using the doxygen-matlab package, which includes a perl script to kludge matlab .m files into c++ style commented files, so that doxygen can read them. In my doxyfile, I have set (according to the instructions) FILTER_PATTERNS = *m=C:/doxygenMatlab/m2cpp.pl However, when the code runs, rather than running the script on the input files, it appears to just open the script using whatever the default windows setting for .pl is. IE, if I associate .pl with notepad, the script is opened by notepad once for each input file doxygen is trying to parse. If I associate .pl with perl.exe, the script runs and throws the no argument error Argument must contain filename -1 at C:\doxygenMatlab\m2cpp.pl line 4. The doxygen documentation says Doxygen will invoke the filter program by executing (via popen()) the command <filter> <input-file> So I am wondering if there is some problem with popen() and windows that I could fix.

• Compact web server with Lua support?

  Hello, I need to find a very compact, cross-platform web server that can run Lua scripts, ie. either a regular web server like Mongoose that will forward queries to a Lua program in eg. FastCGI, or a web server itself written in Lua which will save the need to provide a separate web server. I recently started learning about Lua so am still in the dark about what is available out there, save for the three I came accross: Barracuda Embedded Web Server http://barracudaserver.com/ba/doc/ Xavante - Lua HTTP 1.1 Web server http://keplerproject.github.com/xavante/ Haserl http://haserl.sourceforge.net/ If someone's already done this recently, what solution would you recommend along with any tutorial/article that would get me started? • Animating and rotating an image in a Surface View

  I would like to animate movement on a SurfaceView . Ideally I would like to also be notified once the animation had finished. For example: I might have a car facing North. If I wanted to animate it so that it faces South for a duration of 500ms, how could I do that? I am using a SurfaceView so all animation must be handled manually, I don't think I can use XML or the android Animator classes. Also, I would like to know the best way to animate something continuously inside a SurfaceView (ie. a walk cycle)

• What would you do if you coded a C++/OO cross-platform framework and realize its laying on your disk

  This project started as a development platform because i wanted to be able to write games for mobile devices, but also being able to run and debug the code on my desktop machine too (ie, the EPOC device emulator was so bad): the platforms it currently supports are: Window-desktop WinCE Symbian iPhone The architecture it's quite complete with 16bit 565 video framebuffer, blitters, basic raster ops, software pixel shaders, audio mixer with shaders (dsp fx), basic input, a simple virtual file system... although this thing is at it's first write and so there are places where some refactoring would be needed. Everything has been abstracted away and the guiding principle are: mostly clean code, as if it was a book to just be read object-orientation, without sacrifying performances mobile centric The idea was to open source it, but without being able to manage it, i doubt the software itself would benefit from this move.. Nevertheless, i myself have learned a lot from unmaintained projects. So, thanking you in advance for reading all this... really, what would you do?

I found out it will work after deleting temporary files. Edit : Please pay attention to domain when User request www.mysite.com every thing is okay but without "www" login doesn't work. in firefox they are working very good. this is IE problem. How I can solve this ?

  I've a asp.net datagrid which shows customer order details. Pagination at the bottom of the grid is done using datalist and asp.net Linkbutton controls. • Scroll bar issue in google chrome

  I have the following html structure <div style="overflow:auto;position:relative"> <div style="position:absolute; top:0;bottom:0;padding-top:30px"> </div> </div> When the inner div expands the outer bar gets its scroll bars. But the scroll bars appear on top of the inner div (blocking its contents). Works fine in firefox and IE. I need the inner div to be positioned absolutely. Someone help please..

• ASP.NET MVC: trying out a script injection hangs Visual Studio 2010 completely?

  Wondering if anyone has an idea of whats going on: I am new to ASP.NET MVC and am trying out a few things with jquery/ajax. The basic scenario is a dropdownlist with an add button next to it. Clicking the add button launches a jquery ui dialog with a textbox form, entering a value saves the item to the database and refreshes the drop-downlist. The dropdownlist is re-populated using a JSON result. This all works ok. I thought I would try a script injetion attack, ie add the text: alert("oh dear") to seee what would happen and to check if I need to encode anything. When I try and save this item (similar to the same process of adding a plain text entry) Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 hangs completely. Any ideas? UPDATE: It happens when posting: "</"

• Duplicate ID/indexes and looping

  I realize having two elements in the same html doc with the same ID is wrong, bad, immoral, and will lead to global warming. But... I'm trying to write an XSS widgit, so I really have no control over the quality of the parent web page. I loop through document.images to retrieve a list of images on the page. I perform an action on each one. for(img in document.images){ ... } i've also tried for(var i=0;i<document.images.length;i++){ ... } in both cases it allows me to loop through all of the elements, BUT when trying trying to reference an object with a duplicate ID, I always get the first (in order of the html). When using debugger in IE8 i'm able to see that both elements ARE listed, but that they both have the same index (in IE the index of the document.images is either sequential or matches the image ID) Does anyone have a better solution?

  Hello to all. I need to implement parent page redirection from iframe. I know that it is impossible to do in different domains due to browsers security. However I found that links have target attribute and tried to use it in the following way: <a href="http://google.com" target="_top" id="testParentRedirect">someLink</a> It works fine if I click this link manually, but I couldn't find cross-browser solution to simulate it using javascript. document.getElementById('testParentRedirect').click(); This works fine in IE, however Firefox and Safary don't know click function :). I tried to work with jquery, but for some reason they don't simulate click event for links. (see following post) I couldn't find any appropriate solution on stackoverflow. Maybe someone could help me in it. I will appreciate it. :)

• .NET XML Serialization, possibly to use a different method name than PropertySpecified for ignoring

  I have a bunch of classes that I intend to serialize in order to transport over a webservice call. These classes already have properties that return whether a given "real" property has a value or not, that is ingrained in a lot of code of our product. Is it possible, for instance through attributes, for me to specify that each "real" property should be included if a specified other property returns true, but not one that is called RealPropertyNameSpecified? ie. for instance if I have this class: [XmlType("test")] public class TestClass { [XmlIgnore] public bool NameHasGotAValue { get; set; } [XmlElement("name")] public string Name { get; set; } } Is it possible for me to use the NameHasGotAValue as the "*Specified" method for the Name property, or is my only option to either rename NameHasGotAValue, add a NameSpecified method, or implement IXmlSerializable?

• Integrating Hudson with MS Test?

  Is it possible to integrate Hudson with MS Test? I am setting up a smaller CI server on my development machine with Hudson right now, just so that I can have some statistics (ie. FxCop and compiler warnings). Of course, it would also be nice if it could just run my unit tests and present their output. Up to now, I have added the following batch task to Hudson, which makes it run the tests properly. "%PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\MSTest.exe" /runconfig:LocalTestRun.testrunconfig /testcontainer:Tests\bin\Debug\Tests.dll However, as far as I know, Hudson does not support analysis of MS Test results, yet. Does anyone know whether the TRX files generated by MSTest.exe can be transformed to the JUnit or NUnit result format (because those are supported by Hudson), or whether there is any other way to integrate MS Test unit tests with Hudson?

• In a client-server relationship, should the server always rethrow the exception to the client?

  I have a set of web services (the server), and an app which consumes this (client). In this sort of relationship, should the server always throw exceptions (ie in the throw block, rethrow the caught exception), and the client catch this. Exceptions which the server can handle, it will deal with and not rethrow, but everything else will be thrown to the calling layer for further action (the consuming app can raise a msg box or whatever). Is this a good example of an exception that can be dealt with: A file cannot be written because the directory requires special privileges, so if this raises an exception, the file is written somewhere which does not require admin rights. • Mod_rewrite with multiple variables

  Hello, I'm using a PHP script that dynamically generates transparent PNGs for use as CSS backgrounds from a query string that takes RGBa and HSLa values. The original script can be found here, I've only added HSLa support. Because background URLs with PHP query strings aren't very pretty, and because it seems to break the IE 6 transparent PNG hack, I thought of using mod_rewrite to allow the script to be called when a .png with this syntax is called : /assets/colors/h[0-360 value]_s[0-100 value]_l[0-100 value]_a[0-100 value].png which would be rewritten to : /assets/colors.php?h=[0-360 value]&s=[0-100 value]&l=[0-100 value]&a=[0-100 value] Here's the issues I'm encountering : passing multiple variables with mod_rewrite using an underscore as a delimiter I know this could be done by passing a single variable and then exploding it in the PHP script, however I would prefer it to be done by Apache. • dijit hovering MenuItem issue

  I have a dijit.layout.TabContainer on my form. I resize the browser window in such a way that all tabs won't fit in a single screen. In this case dijit automatically adds a drop-down button at the right end of the TabContainer (I get this for free). If I click on the drop-down button then I get the full List of Tab Names. Hovering over the List of Tab Names (which is in fact a collection of menu items) it blanks out the menu item name which I'm currently over. e.g. Full List: Tab1 Tab2 Tab3 Hovering over Tab2 I get: Tab1 Tab3 I get the same issue with any other dijit.Menu, dijit.MenuItem AND I get the same issue on IE, Firefox, Chrome. I haven't tested on any other browser. Thanks.

• How can I tell Visual Studio to NOT BREAK on a particular exception?

  I have a particular type of exception that I would like Visual Studio to not catch with the Exception Assistant. Essentially I would like it just to let my normal exception handling infrastructure deal with it. The exception is an inheritor of System.Exception which I wrote and have the source code for. Any where this is thrown I want VS to not catch it, ie it is not useful to just supress a single throw new BlahException(); in code. This is because the exception is thrown a lot, and I don't want to have to supress every single instance individually. In case it makes a difference I am on Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate, Framework 3.5 SP1.

  I have a asp.net application which generates reports.When the user clicks on generate report, the report is generated in the background and link to that report is written on the UI. There is no problem with the application as many of them are able to generate the reports successfully. However few users are facing issue is generating reports.The issue is, "When they click on generate report button, the report is being generated but before getting the link to the report,users are getting "page cannot be displayed" page" "And for few of them it occurs only in IE and not in mozila" Please help me in resolving this issue. • R: How to get a stack trace from the snow package

  How can I get a stack trace back from a snow node after an error occurs? I am using the snow package (version 0.3-3) on R 2.10.1 and I'm getting errors when I use parSapply that do not occur when I use sapply. Snow is nice enough to give me the error message but it would be much more useful for me to have the kind of stack trace you can get from traceback(). So far I have tried: options(showWarnCalls = T, showErrorCalls = T) setDefaultClusterOptions(outfile = "/dev/tty") and options(error=traceback) setDefaultClusterOptions(outfile = "/dev/tty") without luck. I'm currently just testing with a local cluster ie: makeSOCKcluster(c("localhost","localhost")) but I will eventually be using an MPI cluster. Thanks.

  Hay guys, I'm writing a simple app which logs recipes. I'm working out my models and have stumbled across a problem My Dish models needs to have many Ingredients. This is no problem because i would do something like this ingredients = models.ManyToManyfield(Ingredient) No problems, my dish now can have many ingrendients. However, the problem is that the ingredient needs to come in different quantities. I.E 4 eggs, 7 tablespoons sugar My Ingredient Model is very simple at the moment class Ingredient(models.Model): name = models.TextField(blank=False) slug = models.SlugField(blank=True) How would i go about work out this problem? What fields would i need to add, would i need to use a 'through' attribute on my ManyToManyfield to solve this problem?

• VS 2010 / Resharper 5 Mouse Behavior

  After upgrading to the above configuration I notice that 1) CTRL-Click on a type highlights the type but doesn't take me to the declaration, 2) Clicking on some closure (ie, like a method) toggles whether it's expanded or collapsed. Since these are both mouse related tasks I figure there is some setting in either VS or R# that I need to change, but I sure can't figure out what it is. Anybody know? Cheers, Berryl PS - there is an option in R# to ctrl-click to the type but I have that checked and it still does not work.

I need to populate this field in the format below. ie a newline char after street and another newline after zip. street City state Zip Country The values of city state zip country etc are been taken from contact object. I dont want to use this as a formula field. So i need to populate it in my controller and display it on my VF page. I am trying to add a newline char by using the code below this.customobj.Current_Address__c = currentStreet + '\\n ' + currentCity + ' ' + currentState + ' ' + currentZIP + '\\n ' + currentCountry ; i had also used \n instead of \n. It still show the field in one line instead of 3 lines

• Makefile option/rule to handle missing/removed source files

I'm using gcc/g++, so adding the -MP option when generating dependencies works great for me, until I get to the link stage with my .a file... What about updating archives/libraries when input sources go away? • trying to make an accordion menu from a list - jquery indexhibit

  Hello - Im teaching my self javascript & jquery so this might be a bit of a low brow question or entirely too much code for anyone to wade through, but Im hoping for some feedback. I have looked around and haven't found a thread that looks like it will deals neatly with my question. Im using the cms indexhibit (cant create a new tag!) and trying to create an accordion style menu from the menu list it generates. I basically have the behaviour Im after, modifying an existing bit of work but there are quite a few foibles, which are no doubt a conflict between the .click and .toggle and a confused use if statements. I basically want to start from scratch and redo this so I can a) learn from my mistakes b) understand what's happening. Im having trouble now because I dont know where to go from here, or how to trouble shoot it. Can anyone give me a quick analysis how the the script in the head of the document work together? Also any insight into the nature of the conflicts Im seeing and what approach might take to remedy them? If you were going to start afresh what would be your approach?
