    hi, i am having a 2 Urls like http://www.abc.com and http://www.xyz.com. I am trying to redirect to http://www.xyz.com whenever i type http://www.abc.com in the browser. And also when the user types http://www.abc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=55 something like this ie. any query next to abc.com then i am trying to redirect to http://www.xyz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=55. how to do this in Php... Please help me..

  • Writing to the middle of the file (without overwriting data)

    In windows is it possible through an API to write to the middle of a file without overwriting any data and without having to rewrite everything after that? If it's possible then I believe it will obviously fragment the file; how many times can I do it before it becomes a serious problem? If it's not possible what approach/workaround is usually taken? Re-writing everything after the insertion point becomes prohibitive really quickly with big (ie, gigabytes) files. Note: I can't avoid having to write to the middle. Think of the application as a text editor for huge files where the user types stuff and then saves. I also can't split the files in several smaller ones.

    Is there any Inheritance problem with <table>, tr th td tbody thead tfoot also like form elements? In IE 6+ and FF 3+ with Strict doctype. Tables also have inheritance turned off in some browsers. You may notice that in some browsers, your tables’ text will be larger, clunkier and not so pretty. This is also due to inheritance. Many browsers give tables their own style. It's mentioned here http://www.komodomedia.com/blog/2006/10/css-trickery-part-5-inheritance/ For which browsers author is talking about, it's not mentioned I tested on FF 3.6 and IE7 but unable to find is there any issue.     Greetings... I'm trying to get my Sharepoint 2007 site to render in Standards mode when browsing in IE. Since makes every browser that I might be worrying about do just that, I decided to use it. I've read here and there that Standards mode could cause unwanted behavior to some OOTB functionality and style (fly-outs, calendar items, etc...), but can't find a full list containing error reference and ways to correct it. So, I'm looking for any kind of info and guidance on the matter... Just trying to avoid endless clicking through my app and hopping that some one altruistic by nature has gone through testing hell already and is willing to share. Thanks...

    I have a file named AttachmentDownload.aspx and inside Page_Load method have such code wich offers to download file. All names work correctly in IE except names which include ";" or "#". They offer user to save the file under name "AttachmentDownload.aspx". Is there a workaround for this? My requirement is A user selects a category, based on category course is populated,user selects course and discount. I want the user to pay through paypal according to the course selected. Also the data should be inserted into a table after successfull payment. I have checked sample code also but i am unable to figure out how to accomplish this task ie how to make it dynamic according to the user choice. I think ipn would be used but not sure.     Hi all, I am trying to create an ordered list on IE7 but for some reason does not work. Does anybody knows why this can be?     Hey Few Questions 1.Is it legal to have an IFrame on a website which inside has an external website? 2.In an IFrame is it possible to only show a section of the src that isnt the top left of the site (for instance if there was a chart in the middle of a website, could u have just the chart in your Iframe, or atleast start it centred there) 3.Any way to stop my IFrame from auto redirecting me to the external site for 3: ie <iframe src="http://fifa.com"></iframe> Just sends me to fifa instead of actually showing that site in a frame.

    So I have a list that I want to convert to a list that contains a list for each group of objects. ie ['objA.attr1', 'objC', 'objA.attr55', 'objB.attr4'] would return [['objA.attr1', 'objA.attr55'], ['objC'], ['objB.attr4']] currently this is what I use: givenList = ['a.attr1', 'b', 'a.attr55', 'c.attr4'] trgList = [] objNames = [] for val in givenList: obj = val.split('.')[0] if obj in objNames: id = objNames.index(obj) trgList[id].append(val) else: objNames.append(obj) trgList.append([val]) #print trgList It seems to run a decent speed when the original list has around 100,000 ids... but I am curious if there is a better way to do this. Order of the objects or attributes does not matter. Any ideas?

    I have a GWT application that works great on all platforms/browsers etc. Then we tried Windows 7 Starter Edition. For all browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox) none of the dynamically displayed data appears in the application. We know that the machine is ok because Google Wave works fine and its also a GWT application. I'm at a loss. What could cause this to happen? I'd be grateful if you have a suggestion as to how to debug this. If so find the solution I'll post it.

    How are applications providing import / export (or backups) of data in SaaS based multi-tenancy applications, particularly single database designs? Imports: Keeping things simple I think basic imports are useful, ie CSV to a spec (or a way of providing a mapping between CSV columns and fields in the database. Exports: In single database designs I have seen XML exports and HTML (basic sitse generated) exports of data? I would assume that XML is a better option? How does one cater for relational data? Would you reference various things within XML and provide documentation of the relationships or let users figurethis out? Are vendors providing an export/backup that can be imported back in/restored? Your comments appreciated.

    Why was the arguments.callee.caller property deprecated in JavaScript? It was added and then deprecated in JavaScript, but it was omitted altogether by ECMAScript. Some browser (Mozilla, IE) have always supported it and don't have any plans on the map to remove support. Others (Safari, Opera) have adopted support for it, but support on older browsers is unreliable. Is there a good reason to put this valuable functionality in limbo? (Or alternately, is there a better way to grab a handle on the calling function?)

    I have picked up some possible answers to my problem here, but none have so far worked. I have installed XAMPP but get the dreaded HTTP 404 error on both IE and Firefox when asking for 'http://localhost/'. I work with Dreamweaver but cannot get the testing server (XAMPP) to work, although I can connect to the linux/apache remote server. Skype has been uninstalled. Therefore XAMPP is running on port 80 by itself. XAMPP says Apache and Mysql have 'started'. Is there someone that could please help me?

I stumbled across the following shortcut in setting up a for loop (shortcut compared to the textbook examples I have been using): for (Item *i in items){ ... } As opposed to the longer format: for (NSInteger i = 0; i < [items count]; i++){ ... } //think that's right If I'm using the shorter version, is there a way to remove the item currently being iterated over (ie 'i')? Or do I need to use the longer format?

(version 8.0.60001) The form content gets hidden, as does the content within the class='hide' div but outside the form, but the form border continues to show, and retains its size. Does anybody have a workaround for this? jQuery is version 1.4.2 I tried to create a small problem demo in jsfiddle, but that site was not functional in the IE browser.

After i have enter the search string in the text field whenever i click the search button it highlight the search terms which is available in the text area and focus the search term in text area. I have try to do this by using jquery. But in mozilla,I can't get the focus to the search term at the time of search. I have to scroll down the text area for find the focused search term. In I.E. also it doesn't work properly. Otherwise if any post related to highlight search term in text area is also appreciable. Please guide me to achieve this.

    Is there a function/algorithm that allows me to input the latitude and the approximate orbital position of the earth in so that I can determine how long the sun is up? IE during the winter it would show that the sun is only up a few hours in the far north hemisphere. I did some basic Google search and didn't find much so I was thinking that I might have to do some trigonometry that would allow me to calculate how much the earth is inclined or not toward the sun then use that information along with the latitude to figure out how much sunshine a site would be getting.

    Hello, I have a windows form that has a simple menu and performs a simple operation, I want to be able to create another windows form with all the functionality of a menu bar, message pump etc.. as a separate thread so I can then share the results of the operation to the second window. I.E. 1) Form A opens Form B opens as a separate thread 2)Form A performs operation 3)Form A passes results via memory to Form B 4)Form B display results I'm confused as to how to go about it, the main app runs fine but i'm not sure how to add a second window if the first one already exists.     Hi, i have this cropper in my app. login: fer password: m Note: after loginning you will be redirected to another page. Then click again the link i mention. I can see it working in FF, but not in IE7/8 (Windows XP SP2, just installed). It's supposed it works ok, because I don't have any problems to operate the demo in both browsers, and in IE 8 Developer Tools the all the .js's necessary appeared as loaded. I have contacted with the developer of the cropper but he didn't reply. Any idea? Javi

    I have a table whose primary key is used in several other tables and has several foreign keys to other tables. CREATE TABLE location ( locationID INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY ... ) ENGINE = InnoDB; CREATE TABLE assignment ( assignmentID INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY, locationID INT NOT NULL, FOREIGN KEY locationIDX (locationID) REFERENCES location (locationID) ... ) ENGINE = InnoDB; CREATE TABLE assignmentStuff ( ... assignmentID INT NOT NULL, FOREIGN KEY assignmentIDX (assignmentID) REFERENCES assignment (assignmentID) ) ENGINE = InnoDB; The problem is that when I'm trying to drop one of the foreign key columns (ie locationIDX) it gives me an "ERROR 1025 (HY000): Error on rename" error. How can I drop the column in the assignment table above without getting this error?

    Hi, I am working on customizing the ajax html editor. I got succeded when i use VS 2008/10 selecting the "Web Site" as the template to create my asp.net application. But the same is not working when i create an asp.net application with Web Applications as the template. The problem i am facing here is, when we try to customize any editor, we will create a custome class "MyCustomeEditor", using which we will create the customized editor on our webforms. This is working fine when i am working with Web Sites. In web application, it is not even trying to identify the control, ie, is not a server tag.   • IE7 Times Out Debugging ASP.Net Page

    My issue is similar to ASP.NET Debugging Timing out with IIS except that I'm using the built-in ASP.Net Development Server with VS 2010. If I pause for more than about 10 seconds in the debugger, IE7 "disconnects" from the web server with the error message Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage However, unlike in the similar question, the debugger is still running. If I refresh the browser it will post that refresh to the server and I can debug the page from the top again. Is it possible to configure things so that IE7 waits (much) longer before giving up? If it makes a difference, I'm launching IE using the "Start external program" option and passing a localhost URL as the command line argument (since Chrome is my default browser). I also specify a specific port.
