How do I trigger specific parts of a storyboard in WPF?

I have several grids in my window. I have created a storyboard that moves them left by x pixels when a button is clicked. I want to make it so that when the button is clicked again those grids move another x pixels, however I'm unable to find out how to do this as it's not a common task on tutorials. I have tried creating a second storyboard to do this, however that won't work as then the grids will be back at their starting positions. One solution might be to create a third set of keyframes after the first two sets, and somehow pause the animation when it gets there, and resumes it again when the button is clicked, however I'm not sure how to pause a storyboard when it reaches a keyframe. This would also make reversing the grids difficult (using this approach http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/wpf/thread/ac54de71-f750-4940-91a2-231810308727/), as I'd like to make another button make the grids go the other way.

Two excellent results of SOLID development ideology are - Legibility - Extensibility over the life of a project (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid_(object-oriented_design) Although SOLID is a set of language-agnostic design ideas, some languages inherently support these ideas better than others. Out-of-the-box or after various customizations, in your opinion which language is best-suited to be both easily readable and easy to extend functionality in? Some definitions to pre-empt biases and flamewars: Legibility: amount of thinking done to understand the code proportional to the amount of code: (amount_think-energy / amount_code) is fairly constant and as low as possible in the optimal case. A website I wish to tweak is using window.location in order to redirect specific users to a blocking page. That website is doing it in plain <script> tag, so it is impossible to bypass it by overriding the onload event using document.body.setAttribute('onload','');. AcceptSecurityContext (Kerberos) returns SEC_E_LOGON_DENIED

Hi, I am trying to write a simple application that performs Kerberos authentication (no mutual authentication for now). The operating system is Windows server 2003, standard edition. I have setup Active directory and created an SPN using setspn tool. AcquireCredentialsHandle returns SEC_E_OK both on client and on server. InitializeSecurityContext on client side returns SEC_E_OK. AcceptSecurityContext on server side returns SEC_E_LOGON_DENIED. I am sure there's nothing wrong in my code since the same behaviour I see when using the sample application from the following MSDN article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dvdarchive/bb985043.aspx So I guess there is something wrong in my setup. But I can't find out what. Maybe I have missed something in SPN setup? Any help is appreciated. Regards, David.

C++ method chaining including class constructor

Hello, I'm trying to implement method chaining in C++, which turns out to be quite easy if the constructor call of a class is a separate statement, e.g: Foo foo; foo.bar().baz(); But as soon as the constructor call becomes part of the method chain, the compiler complains about expecting ";" in place of "." immediately after the constructor call: Foo foo().bar().baz(); I'm wondering now if this is actually possible in C++. Here is my test class: class Foo { public: Foo() { } Foo& bar() { return *this; } Foo& baz() { return *this; } }; I also found an example for "fluent interfaces" in C++ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluent_interface#C.2B.2B) which seems to be exactly what I'm searching for. Hi all. I'm trying to get the green box that appears on the second click of a tri-state checkbox to be red, and also to fill up the box. The code below works fine until I want to create choices, where for some reason I always get this error message: line 22, in unicode return self.question AttributeError: 'Choice' object has no attribute 'question' Unfortunatley, I dont understand where I made an error. Odd problem with IE8 and z-index CSS property

I not been able to put one DIV over his parent DIV in Internet Explorer. With Firefox is working as suposed to. The odd part is that if I open the html file directly in IE, everything works fine. But if I upload to the server and open from there, the div is hidden underneath his parent. I've tried several z-index combinations and none works. Why do my WPF UIElements NOT have OnPreview events?

I'm building a custom Silverlight UserControl which needs to listen to events using Preview/Tunneling, but for some reason the compiler is telling me they are not recognized or accessible. For example, I can add an event handler to MouseLeftButtonDown, but not PreviewMouseLeftButtonDown. This doesn't make sense because according to Microsoft (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.uielement_members(v=VS.100).aspx) all UIElements should have Preview events attached. Any ideas as to why this is happening? I'm using Visual Studio 2010 Trial, Blend 4 RC and .Net 4, if that makes a difference.

Install driver by using C++

Hi, This is a question about installing driver. I have the following files : aaa.cat aaa.inf x86\ttt.sys I can install this driver by clicking "update driver" in device manager. But now I need to install this driver on Windows (XP, Vista and Win7) by using C++. How could I do this? On the other hand, I can't use install shield or other tool to do the job. for loop will not loop

I have a for loop that I will use to compute time intervals to add to an ArrayList. The problem is that I can not prove that the for loop is being executed. Hibernate without primary keys generated by db?

I'm building a data warehouse and want to use InfiniDB as the storage engine. However, it doesn't allow primary keys or foreign key constraints (or any constraints for that matter). Hibernate complains "The database returned no natively generated identity value" when I perform an insert. Each table is relational, and contains a unique integer column that was previously used as the primary key - I want to keep that, but just not have the constraint in the db that the column is the primary key. I'm assuming the problem is that Hibernate expects the db to return a generated key. Convert Google results object (pure js) to Python object

So I'm trying to use Google Map suggest API to request place name suggestions. Unfortunately I can't find the docs for this bit. Here is an example URI: http://maps.google.com/maps/suggest?q=lon&cp=3&ll=55.0,-3.5&spn=11.9,1.2&hl=en&gl=uk&v=2 which returns: {suggestion:[{query:"London",... I want to use this in python (2.5). Now in proper JSON there would have been quotations around the keys like so: {"suggestion":[{"query":"London",... and I could have used simplejson or something, but as it is I'm a bit stuck. There are two possible solutions here; either I can get to the API code and find an option to return proper JSON, or I do that in python. Any ideas please.

JavaScript and ASP.NET - Cookies with Key / Value Pairs

Hello, This question mixes client-side scripting with server-side parsing. In some cases, I'm writing a cookie to the user's browser using the document.cookie property. In other cases, I'm writing the same cookie to the user's browser through the ASP.NET Response object. When I'm writing the HttpCookie on the server-side, I am using the Values collection (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/system.web.httpcookie.values%28v=VS.80%29.aspx) to store key/value pairs in the cookie. I would also like to be able to write key-value pairs to the cookie through JavaScript. How do I create cookies with Key/Value pairs via JavaScript that ASP.NET can parse? Thank you!

.NET Framework Class Library Documentation

Developing in .NET 3.5. Recently my well-worn link to the .NET Framework 3.5 Class Library documentation (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms229335.aspx) started taking me to the .NET 4.0 docs. This is a bit of a nuisance, because I'm not interested in .NET 4.0 (yet)--the project I'm working on is in 3.5. Previous versions of the .NET Class Library docs provided links to older versions; these don't appear to be present any more in 4.0 docs. And I can't seem to locate the 3.5 docs anywhere on MSDN. Does anyone know where these are located. Or (better) where I can download a static copy of the Class Library docs (something conveniently available with Java API javadocs) that Microsoft can't hide? I've worked on a few Java web projects and we've always used Hibernate for our data object layer. I haven't worked on a large scale ASP.NET site and I'm unsure which solution to choose. I'm tempted to try NHibernate, but I don't like the fact that they use so many third party libraries. Hi, I've implemented unit testing along the lines of this article with a fake object context and IObjectSet with POCO in EF4. http://blogs.msdn.com/adonet/archive/2009/12/17/test-driven-development-walkthrough-with-the-entity-framework-4-0.aspx But I'm unsure how to implement a couple of methods on my fake object context for testing. I have CreateQuery and ExecuteFunction methods on my object context interface so that I can execute ESQL and Stored Procedures but I cant (easily) implement them in my fake object context. An alternative would be to use a test double of my repository instead of a double of my object context as suggested here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/adonetefx/thread/c4921443-e8a3-4414-92dd-eba1480a07ad/ But this would mean my real repository isnt being tested and would seem to just bypass the issue. Can anyone offer any recommendations?
