  • How to add facebook like in multiple blog post like your index file in wordpress?

    i would like to implement or add a facebook like button in my wordpress blog. But this time, i want it on my index file or in a multiple blog post. The problem is when I copy pasted what facebook is generating for me is it only "likes" my domain name or my index file, not the blog post which is suppose to be liked. What should i do to correctly add the facebook like button to work? thank you very much!

  • How do you get the File:// protocol to work in IE8?

    I am running a website on my local machine ("http://localhost/asdf") and trying to get some file:// protocol links to work. In reality I'm trying to open a folder, not a specific file, but I can't get either to work. I've put localhost in my "trusted zone", I've tried every combo of "file" ,":", some number of "/" and then a whole bunch of different paths, but encoded and not encoded. Nothing I do causes anything to open when I click on the link. If I copy the link destination, and paste that in the browser address window, then it works as expected. Anyone know the secret?

    How can i call a function form a variable. var upfunction = init; //or var upfunction = init(); I have tried the above code and it does not work. I want to be able to call that variable from a keypress and change the variables function. For example. function init(){ //Do whatever } function init2(){ //Do another thing } var upfunction = init(); if (Key.getCode() == Key.UP) { upfunction; } Then later doing upfunction = init2(); That way i could change the function without having much code. Sorry if this is a noob question but all i do is copy and paste code i have found.

  • swf doesn't respond when relocating it

    Hi, i have in my program few swf files and using mxmlc i compile the application into one swf file. when i open the swf from the output directory(just dbl click) everything works fine. But, when i copy the directory to another location in the hardisk the application stops responding (i can see my swf main picture and its buttons in it. But, when i click a button which just popup a message, it doesn't work!) any help?

    In Visual studio 2008 is it possible to have a resource file that is included as a separate file after compilation rather than as an embedded resource. This is to enable small changes to be rolled out more easily. I have tried build options of Resource, None, Compile and also copy local on and off for most of these. However when ever I try access the resource at run time I get a cannot find resource exception. Is this actually possible or am I wasting my time?

    I'm used to handle graphics with old-school libraries (allegro, GD, pygame), where if I want to copy a part of a bitmap into another... I just use blit. I'm trying to figure out how to do that in android, and I got very confused. So... we have these Canvas that are write-only, and Bitmaps that are read-only? It seems too stupid to be real, there must be something I'm missing, but I really can't figure it out.

    What event is fired when you right-click on selected text in an <input> or <textarea> tag and the click "Delete" in Internet Explorer (I'm targeting version 9, but if it's good for lower versions too, all the better). On other browsers , the "input" event appears to work for all text changes through right-click so doing $("textarea").on("input", function() {...}); works. IE works for cut and paste, but not delete (JSFiddle here) although MDN claims that IE is supported.

    Suppose you have 2 files in the same directory: New File Name.txt and NewFil~1.txt If you use CopyFileEx to copy both files to the same destination, maintaining the same names, you will end up having only ONE file (the second one replaces the first one) which can be sometimes not a good thing. Any workaround for this behavior?

The feed urls have to be added by hand tipically with the copy/paste method, and I don't like this option because is poor for the users. My question is: can I do like in webpage http://feeds2.feedburner.com/microsiervos a list of web applications (Google Reader, Netvibes, etc.). There is a way to do so? I may have to create a firefox addon? I'm quite lost, I think...     I'm aware that it is possible to use 'readelf -d | grep RPATH' to inspect a given binary from the shell, but is it possible to do this within a process? Something like (my completely made up system call): /* get a copy of current rpath into buffer */ sys_get_current_rpath(&buffer); I'm trying to diagnose some suspect SO linking issues in our codebase, and would like to inspect the RPATH this way if possible (I'd rather not have to spawn an external script).

  • How to create GUI as inner class with WindowBuilder

    I would like to use WindowBuilder in Eclipse to construct Swing GUIs. The JPanels I need to build will be inner classes in a non-GUI wrapper, like so: public class MyWrapper extends MyBaseClass { ... class MyPanel extends JPanel { ... } } So my question is this: can I construct MyPanel using WindowBuilder? If so, how should I set it up? If anyone is interested, the wrapper is an abstract base class which the plug-ins I am developing for my app must extend; deployment concerns mean that it's not really practical to put the GUIs in a separate JAR either so I pretty much have to do it this way. My current workflow, which is awful, is to build the GUI in NetBeans and paste the entire generated class into Eclipse where I connect it up to the methods in my wrapper. I am very hopeful that WindowBuilder will let me work more reliably and efficiently if I can trick it into generating code in MyPanel, not MyWrapper. Thanks

    Opening a public page from browser works fine. Downloading same page using WebClient throws - (403) Forbidden. What is going on here ?     What happens, step by step, when a variable is returned. I know that if it's a built-in and fits, it's thrown into rax/eax/ax. What happens when it doesn't fit, and/or isn't built-in? More importantly, is there a guaranteed copy constructor call? edit: What about the destructor? Is that called "sometimes", "always", or "never"?

    this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes? Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.

  • Subversion: How to make local changes to a file *never* check in, but have it sync with remote anyway?

    I have a file with local changes that should never sync back to the repository because it's for my local installation only. But if that same file is changed in the repo, I want those changes to update my local copy, anyway. At the moment, the file in question always shows up in the list of changes when I want to check-in my changes, and I have to manually exclude it from the check-in. How do I make it so that I can just update, with the above restriction in place? Thanks :)

  • Encoding in SQL to CSV

    When do I execute query COPY TO ... CSV, I create CSV file. BUt when open it column with names in excel that should be with national characters are not as it should be. So my question is, If it is possible within a sql query to change this encoding to utf8? Or something else? Because I want that new created CSV file to be as final product for user on web. I hope someone understood what I want:)
