  Hello everyone, I am using SQL Server 2008 Enterprise DB and using the new Merge statement (when source and target are both SQL Server 2008 DB tables), and it works well. I have another database table which is hosted in SQL Server 2005 Enterprise DB. I want to know whether Merge statement could using one table of SQL Server 2008 as source, and another tableof SQL Server 2005 as target? The two databases may not exist on the same machine. thanks in advance, George

  Hello everyone :) I'm trying to speedup directory enumeration in C++, where I'm recursing into subdirectories. I currently have an app which spends 95% of it's time in FindFirst/FindNextFile APIs, and it takes several minutes to enumerate all the files on a given volume. I know it's possible to do this faster because there is an app that does: Everything. It enumerates my entire drive in seconds. How might I accomplish something like this?

  Hello all, I have a Facebook like button on my page using the XBFML tag. I think the code is working, because it works in Firefox without a problem. But in IE 8 (running in IE 7 compliant mode), the button does not show at all. If I switch it all to the iFrame version of the like button it all works. But when I go with the XBFML tag it does not work. Anyone run into anything like this?

  Hello, I am having a rather strange problem, I deployed 2 .NET applications on my machine. Both run on v2.0. Now, while one of it works smoothly, the other one doesn't even start! Moreover, it doesn't throw any error, I couldn't see any error listings in the Event Viewer. Becoming hard to debug. On every other machine, both the exe's work perfectly fine! Any known issues? Limitations : Server side I don't want to install word on the server Data source is XML I tried to generate a DOCX with XSLT which is fast and easy but the only way I could find to validate the generated document is to open it with Word and the only error I get when the document is not valid is "Error while opening document".
