    Hello, For a Facebook-like site, ie. which is write-intensive and delivers user-customized pages, I'd like to build a prototype to investigate whether the document-centric NoSQL architecture would be a good alternative to sharding and reduce the load on the single master (+ multiple slaves) that we currently use and is the bottleneck. Does someone know of a good article that would give actual, simple examples of going from a relational layout in MySQL to a NoSQL layout? Thank you.

    Hello, I followed this tutorial: http://www.magento.cc/custom-accountregistration-fields.html to add fields in the registration form of a customer under Magento, I succeed to run the example with a checkbox in the frontend and the backend. I had at the backend a text field with 0 or 1 as value, but I would like to have also a checkbox as in the frontend. Anyone know what changes to do for this? Thank you.

    Hello Im trying to make a chat program like skype in c# and having some trouble gavring/updating the messages, what i tryed was foreach value in a database add it into listbox1, and i did a timer every second do that.. but it kept adding it again every second repeating like it was on loop So then i sat down and thought how can i do this, so i come up with webclient download a list of messages by php and foreach line in the webclient add it to a listbox! is there any way of doing this?

    Hello everyone, I am using SQL Server 2008 Enterprise DB and using the new Merge statement (when source and target are both SQL Server 2008 DB tables), and it works well. I have another database table which is hosted in SQL Server 2005 Enterprise DB. I want to know whether Merge statement could using one table of SQL Server 2008 as source, and another tableof SQL Server 2005 as target? The two databases may not exist on the same machine. thanks in advance, George

    Hello, I have task to get static method using reflection like this : myType.GetMethod("MyMethod",BindingFlags.Static | BindingFlags.Public | BindingFlags.InvokeMethod); In case if class contains MyMethod all works correctly, but in case if parent class contains MyMethod I receive null :(.     Hello, I use code-generation for my data access layer and Doxygen for documentation. My problem is that I can't add Xml comments on the generated classes since they will be overwritten as soon as I re-generate the code. To be more precise I can add Xml comments to my custom methods (which are in a separate file as partial classes) but I can't do it on data properties. Any suggestions?
