  • jQuery code not executed

    Hello, I would like to rephrase my previous question which no one could answer. My problem is that a jQuery-script does not execute a command though it "runs" it. I can see it in the debug mode where the debugger hits the command. Nonetheless, the command is not executed.

    Hello, I'm curious why I got the "right" BUT "wrong"number of result when I click the mouse. I supposed to print on the console mouseClicked once everytimes the mouse is clicked. However I got many of them printed out everytimes I clicked the mouse ...sometimes 5 e.g. mouseClicked mouseClicked mouseClicked mouseClicked mouseClicked Instead of just mouseClicked Why? public void mouseClicked(MouseEvent arg0) { System.out.println("mouseClicked"); }

  • Facebook like button showing in Firefox but not showing in IE

    Hello all, I have a Facebook like button on my page using the XBFML tag. I think the code is working, because it works in Firefox without a problem. But in IE 8 (running in IE 7 compliant mode), the button does not show at all. If I switch it all to the iFrame version of the like button it all works. But when I go with the XBFML tag it does not work. Anyone run into anything like this?

    Hello, I followed this tutorial: http://www.magento.cc/custom-accountregistration-fields.html to add fields in the registration form of a customer under Magento, I succeed to run the example with a checkbox in the frontend and the backend. I had at the backend a text field with 0 or 1 as value, but I would like to have also a checkbox as in the frontend. Anyone know what changes to do for this? Thank you.

  • 50 million+ Rows of Data - CSV or MySQL

    Hello, I have a CSV file which is about 1GB big and contains about 50million rows of data, I am wondering is it better to keep it as a CSV file or store it as some form of a database. I don't know a great deal about MySQL to argue for why I should use it or another database framework over just keeping it as a CSV file. I am basically doing a Breadth-First Search with this dataset, so once I get the initial "seed" set the 50million I use this as the first values in my queue. Thanks,

    Hello all I am having a problem using $html-link helper in my view. Consider this snippet... /views/nodes/packages.ctp <li><?php echo $html->link( "Package 1", array( "packages", "package1" ) )?></li> Now when I click on the link, the address in address bar appears like http://www.server.com/nodes/packages/packages/package1 Why is this happening?     Hello i'm consfused using the Messenger class of MVVM Light. I have a ProductsViewModel that can get initialized a number of times. In the constructor of ProductsViewModel I have this code: Messenger.Default.Register(this, n = MessageBox.Show(n.Test)); The problem is, if I have 2 instances of ProductsViewModel, then Messenger gets registered twice. Is is bad to Register the Messenger in a constructor? Hope this makes sense!

    Hello, I have just started learning Haskell and have got stumped on how to add a rating to a custom data type. The data type I'm using has a name, a year and a tuple (userName and their rating), it looks like: data Wine = Wine String Int [Rating] deriving (Eq,Ord,Show,Read) type Rating = (String, Int) I wanted to allow a user to rate a given wine from a database, stored as [Wine] but cant figure out how to to it. Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
