  I'm looking at the Android Camera code and when I try importing android.os.SystemProperties It cannot be found. here is the file I'm looking at. http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/packages/apps/Camera.git;a=blob;f=src/com/android/camera/VideoCamera.java;h=8effd3c7e2841eb1ccf0cfce52ca71085642d113;hb=refs/heads/eclair I created a new 2.1 project and tried importing this namespace again, but It still cannot be found. I checked developer.android.com and SystemProperties was not listed Did i miss something?

  When I try to create a new branch tracking a remote branch, I get this: che@nok ~/prj/git-ipc $ git branch -t test main/some_remote_branch error: Not tracking: ambiguous information for ref refs/remotes/main/some_remote_branch The source seems to somehow search for branches to track and throws me out because it finds less more than one, but I don't exactly get what it's looking for since I already told it what to track on the command line. Can anybody tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

• github repos cloning, but no tags/branches recreated??!!

  I've been cloning a few repos from github that, even though I know they have branches/tags, do not have them once I clone them onto my local drive. strage. I try to list the tags (git tag) but nothing comes up... I would look into .git/refs/tags/ and that too is empty. the repos in question are: http://github.com/jchris/hovercraft.git http://github.com/apache/couchdb.git any ideas? I really need specific tags/branches, and not the HEAD of the master

  Hello, that's me again. After having problem with estabilishing connection to github.com now I have a problem with next step - pushing. I need to mention, that I am novice at GIT service, and this whole Distributed Subversion Checking Systems world.. I have done git init, then git add *.h and git add *.cpp, but currently git status does not print anything in "# On branch master" section? Previously It was correctly printing whole list of added files, now this list is gone. Nextly, I have executed: git remote add origin https://github.com/mgeeky/disasm.git and error has occured after: git push origin master Username: Password: error: Cannot access URL https://github.com/mgeeky/disasm.git/, return code 22 fatal: git-http-push failed What should I do now? I've tried: git push origin Username: Password: No refs in common and none specified; doing nothing. Perhaps you should specify a branch such as 'master'. Everything up-to-date But it seems to be okey.

• How do I delete a route in OS X 10.5

  I somehow configured my Mac to route all requests for a particular IP Name (sample.com) to the loopback address (127.0.0.1). Now I'm trying to remove this, but can't determine where to do it. There is no entry for it under /etc/hosts. The routing table shows that it is mapping the IP Name to the IP address of the Mac. • Routing traffic to specific web sites through Ethernet, rest via wifi on Mac OS X 10.6?

  Hi I have two separate Internet connections connected to a Mac and I'd like one of them (via Ethernet eth0 gateway 192.168.2.1) to serve for just backing up to an remote online storage, and the other one (via Airport en1 gateway 192.168.1.1) for all other Internet traffic. I tried using "route" from the terminal as follows: sudo route add -host 98.207.226.113 -interface eth0 (just for testing against the site www.whatismyip.org whose IP is 98.207.226.113, to see through which gateway the traffic is routed) I can see using netstat that the route is added: $ netstat -rn -f inet Routing tables Internet: Destination Gateway Flags Refs Use Netif Expire default 192.168.1.1 UGSc 49 0 en1 98.207.226.113 192.168.2.1 UGSc 0 0 eth0 However, the traffic in this case does NOT get routed properly through Ethernet, as if the routing definition I made is ignored. When running 2nd pass , the CPU seems to be at 98% usage, but first pass run totally ignores "-threads" option. Using libx264 . • Why does Keychain Services return the wrong keychain content?

  I've been trying to use persistent keychain references in an iPhone application. I found that if I created two different keychain items, I would get a different persistent reference each time (they look like 'genp.......1', 'genp.......2', …). However, attempts to look up the items by persistent reference always returned the content of the first item. Why should this be? I confirmed that my keychain-saving code was definitely creating new items in each case (rather than updating existing items), and was not getting any errors. And as I say, Keychain Services is giving a different persistent reference for each item. I've managed to solve my immediate problem by searching for keychain items by attribute rather than persistent references, but it would be easier to use persistent references so I'd appreciate solving this problem. • Cassandra inserts using Net::Cassandra::Easy in Perl

  When using the Perl module Net::Cassandra::Easy to interface with Cassandra I use the following code to read colums col[123] from rows row[123] in column-family Standard1: my $cassandra = Net::Cassandra::Easy->new(keyspace => 'Keyspace1', server => 'localhost'); $cassandra->connect(); my $result = $cassandra->get(['row1', 'row2', 'row3'], family => 'Standard1', byname => ['col1', 'col2', 'col3']); This works as expected. However, when trying to insert row row1 with .. $result = $cassandra->mutate(['row1'], family => 'Standard1', insertions => { "col1" => "Value to set." }); .. I get the error message Can't use string ("0") as a SCALAR ref while "strict refs" in use at .../Net/GenThrift/Thrift/BinaryProtocol.pm line 376. What am I doing wrong?

• MP4 plays on Safari 4 (desktop) but not on Safari Mobile (iphone)

  I'm encoding the video with ffmpeg and displaying it using the HTML 5 video tag. It works fine on Firefox (i'm also providing a ogg version) and Safari 4. However, when I try to open it on the iphone I get a "Cannot Play Movie" error. Here is the ffmpeg command I'm using: ffmpeg -y -i movie.mov -acodec libfaac -ar 44100 -ab 96k -vcodec libx264 -vpre hq -level 41 -crf 20 -bufsize 20000k -maxrate 1500k -g 250 -s 320X200 -coder 1 -flags +loop -cmp +chroma -partitions +parti4x4+partp8x8+partb8x8 -flags2 +dct8x8+bpyramid -me_method umh -subq 7 -me_range 16 -keyint_min 25 -sc_threshold 40 -i_qfactor 0.71 -rc_eq 'blurCplx^(1-qComp)' -bf 16 -b_strategy 1 -bidir_refine 1 -refs 6 -deblockalpha 0 -deblockbeta 0 movie.mp4 I reduced the maxrate to 1500 because I read that if the bit rate is too high the iphone won't play the video, but still didn't work. • gitosis and git clone problem

  Hi, I have installed gitosis, but i have strange thing when i'm working with repos. In config i have [gitosis] [group gitosis-admin] writable = gitosis-admin members = me@server me@laptop [group prj1] writable = prj1 members = me@laptop and in /home/git/repositories i have created directory prj1.git with empty git repo. i can work with gitosis-admin from server and laptop without problems, but when i'm trying to git clone prj1 on my laptop i see $ git clone git@server:prj1.git Initialized empty Git repository in /Users/alec/temp/prj1/.git/ fatal: no matching remote head ok, lets push prj1 from laptop to server: $ git push origin master:refs/heads/master ERROR:gitosis.serve.main:Repository read access denied fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly Whats wrong?
