• Access Creates new file every time I Compact & Repair

  It didn't always do this, but ever since I split my database and made the front-end an ACCDE file, any time I try to compact and repair either file, a new file called "Database 1" is generated and my original file size doesn't change. Is this normal? My ACCDB is roughly 20MB, and my ACCDE is just over 1M after being used the first time. Before opening, the ACCDE was only 600k (I have lots of forms and queries, and regularly store PDF attachments.

Now whenever the job is running and I take a look at the jobs section in Enterprise manager, then it always displays the following in the status: Executing Job Step 1'.... although its running all steps properly. How do I know at what step the DTS is running at?

• UITableView section footer multiple UIButtons

  In the section footer of my UITableView, i have one UIButton, this button is 320 pixels wide (i.e. takes up full width of view). I would like two buttons in the section footer, but when i try and add another button, Interface Builder just puts it on top of the existing button. If i try to change the size in the inspector from 320 to say 50 pixels, it always reverts to 320. What am i doing wrong? Thanks.

I put all the instructions into the html from the beginning and use jQuery to hide and unhide the relevant parts. How can I use watir's waiter to wait for only text that is visible?   When querying ntp servers with the command ntpdate, I can use the -u argument to make the source port an unrestricted port (port 1024 and above). With ntpd, which is meant to run in the background, I can't seem to find a way to turn this option on. So the source port is always 123. It's playing around horribly with my firewall configuration. Is there a configuration option in ntp.conf to make it use a random source port?
