I can't use the __() helper inside the form, and adding that string into my XLIFF file doesn't translate it automatically. If it can't be done, what workaround should I implement? I can't find any way, and neither can't find any tip in the official documentation. Thanks!

    I need some help finding the error in my javascript calculation. I need to calculate the sum of my input boxes automatically and have my user be able to edit the calculation using + or - buttons. The code I have already does the calculation automatically if you manually enter the numbers, but pressing the + or - does not change the calculation.   • UINavigationController doesn't fully push view and only changes the Navigation toolbar to the next v

    So I have an iPhone application that utilizes a UINavigationController for setting up the views. When the application first starts, it presents the user with a UITableViewController and the user can select an item and it will push another view. Now I have it set so that my app remembers the user's last selection and automatically selects it and loads the correct view controller. The only problem is that I am experiencing a really weird glitch when I load the next view automatically.. When the view is pushed, the navigation toolbar will change so that a back button directed to the previous view is showing but it won't display the next view. It will instead keep showing the table view and I can interact with it as well. I can press the back button and it will change the toolbar back and the tableview is still shown. Then when I select an item it loads the view just fine. Thanks for the help.

    I was wondering if you know of a way I could filter a mysql query to only show the ‘alpha’ characters from a specific field So something like SELECT col1, col2, **alpha_chars_only(col3)** FROM table I am not looking to update only select. I have been looking at some regex but without much luck most of what turned up was searching for fields that only contain ‘alpha’ chars. In a much watered down context... I have col1 which contains abc and col two contains abc123 and I want to match them on alpha chars only. There can be any number of letters or numbers. Any help very much wel come

    Recently a guy from our 3rd line team thought it would be funny to delete my account from AD. This has now been re-added. Everything is back to normal apart from my Access to Sharepoint sites. I am getting "The file exists. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070050)" Error on all sites. After some googleing I came across a guy with the same issue and it was an issue with the SID being different from my old account. Since this I deleted my account from Site Administrators and re-added. This would refresh the SID with the new one. I also check on the Content database that the site ID matched using the following transactions and the SIDs match. select s.Id, w.FullUrl from Sites s inner join Webs w on s.RootWebId = w.Id select * from UserInfo where tp_Login='domain\username' and tp_SiteID='' I am now a bit clueless.

  • Rails model to represent multiple fields

    I'm developing a rails project where I have one data model with multiple fields that are collection selects. I'd like to create another model to represent all of these collection select fields. So, for instance, my main data model has three collection select fields -- one for county, one for category, and one for classification. I could separate these into three separate data models, but that seems redundant since they all share the same characteristics. They have a type and a value, like a county is a county and it has a value of let's say Sonoma, just as category has a type of category and a value of let's say Winery. If you've ever used Drupal, I'm basically looking for the behavior of the taxonomy functionality. So you see my dilemma: I need to separate these fields into three separate fields but they have very similar data structures. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Does it make a difference if you do count(*) vs count(column-name) as in these two examples? I have a tendency to always write count(*) because it seems to fit better in my mind with the notion of it being an aggregate function, if that makes sense. Select col1, col2, col3 ... from Server1.db.dbo.[table1] where [table1.col1] not in (Select col5 from server2.db.dbo.[table2] Where ...) I am pretty new to SSIS and not sure how to achieve this. I thought I could do this using the Data Flow task and populating the first source with the data from server1.db.dbo.table1 and the second source with server2.db.dbo.[table2] and then do the conditional check before inserting it into server2.db.dbo.[table2]. I am not sure how to do the conditional check though. Any help is appreciated.

    Currently all of my script's settings are located in a PHP file which I 'include'. I'm in the process of moving these settings (about 100) to a database table called 'settings'. However I'm struggling to find an efficient way of retrieving all of them into the file. The settings table has 3 columns: ID (autoincrements) name value Two example rows might be: 1 admin_user john 2 admin_email_address [email protected] The only way I can think of retrieving each setting is like this: $result = mysql_query("SELECT value FROM settings WHERE name = 'admin_user'"); $row = mysql_fetch_array($result); $admin_user = $row['value']; $result = mysql_query("SELECT value FROM settings WHERE name = 'admin_email_address'"); $row = mysql_fetch_array($result); $admin_email_address = $row['value']; etc etc Doing it this way will take up a lot of code and will likely be slow.     In my application I have a button. If the button is clicked as select against a database is executed and the result is shown in a ListView. As the select is quite complex, it takes some time to retrieve the data. When I click the Button, the Application-Window should be disabled until the data is loaded. But when I set the IsEnabled-Property of the Window to false, the Window gets disabled after the data is loaded. I tried to disable the Window in an other thread with a BackgroundWorker. But then I get an exception that the Window is alreay in use by an other thread. How can I disable the Window bevore it retrieves the data?

I noticed I almost always retrieve next entries along with count of available entries: SELECT time, level, type, text FROM Logs WHERE level IN (%s) ORDER BY time DESC, id DESC LIMIT LOG_REQ_LINES OFFSET %d* LOG_REQ_LINES ; together with total count of records that can match current query: SELECT count(*) FROM Logs WHERE level IN (%s); (for a display "page n of m") I wonder, if I could concatenate the two queries, and ask them both in one sqlite3_exec() simply concatenating the query string. How should my callback function look then? Can I distinguish between the different types of data by argc? What other optimizations would you suggest?
