• How do I get a new license for gDEBugger after the 1 free year?

  I downloaded the gDEBugger from gremedy over a year ago, with their one year free license. The license has since expired and their site says that I'll be presented with the option for 1 year free license the first time I run it after install. This doesn't happen when re-installing, it just tells me the license has expired. How do I get a new license? I use this regularly for debugging shader problems and performance testing my game.

  One of things I do in my Resume is try to quantify the impact my work has had in the particular company I was with at the time. The reason is it shows the value my work had added to the business. Is this what you guys do as well or am I the only one? In my previous job this was easy as I worked on short/medium internal applications and it was fairly easy to measure end result. For example, external consulting company quoted $50,000 for an application Business Services department wanted I completed it in 3 days so I say I saved the company $48,000. That meant a lot of game developers had to implement their own reliability layer on top of UDP, or they used UDP for messages that could be dropped or received out of order, and used a parallel TCP connection for information that must be reliable. Given the average user has faster network connections now, can a real time game such as an FPS give good performance over a TCP connection?

This logic is now built into SPRequestModule. The mobile view is pretty damned amazing. Even though the set of pages for mobile access is completely different, SharePoint has an entirely separate set of controls for the mobile pages. These are in the Microsoft.SharePoint.MobileControls namespace which inherit from Microsoft ASP.NET controls in the System.Web.UI.MobileControls namespace.
