    Why is that when I search a row in my database, it ended up 0 results? In fact, there are rows that meet my search criterion when I view them manually, but the search button doesnt work as it is. Heres how you can see there are rows that have '0000-00-00 00:00:00' in them, but when I used the search feature, it ended up like this: take note that Im entering it in the right field which is 'AcctStopTime'. TIA

    hi, im using jquery in asp.net, if i try to use $.ajax functionality, i got this if i use it in a separate page it works.. when i put it in an ascx and put the ascx out of <form runat="server" >... tags it works if i put it between <form> tags , jquery works but it doesnt fire $.ajax event

    Hi i tried to implement a servlet with servlet (in tomcat 6) which act as as a proxy (for browser), it takes the parsed url, use apache httpclient to get the result & push it back to the client (browser), with http it works well, doesnt work with https , seems the problem concerns unsupported CONNECT method in servlet-api & servlet even doesn't see the request is there any solution/workaround for this? thanx in advanced

    Currently im just using something like: in the DB Table: access: home,register,login and then in each page: if(!Functions::has_rights('content')) { Functions::noAccess(); } is there more efficient way to do it, php & MySQL? i may want to gain access even to several parts a page, for example: user can read a page, but doesnt comment to it, and I dont want to build a separate system to each module.     Hi all, I have some files that in windows enable me to prompt messages when a device is plugged. In case it is lost it pops up a message that says the user to please return it to he owner. Does anybody know how can I do this in Linux? I doesnt need to be a complex thing, it can be an option in a right clic menu, or a splashcreen, or anything, just to make sure that the owner of the device may be looking for it.

    I am having a gridview with an object datasource binded in the markup(aspx page). When page loads it directly works fine with all sorting and paging properties. However, i need to filter display on gridview so i have to change the datasource of the gridview on the code behind. It works fine.. i mean the filtering and displaying is good but paging and sorting doesnt work. Did you have a problem something like this?

Imagine i have an array of language [99] = Array ( [language] = English ) I tryed this : $memberLanguage.id is 99 so logicaly you would acces it this way {$language.$memberLanguage.id.language} but this doesnt work. in PHP i would do it this way $language[$memberLanguage['id']]['language'] How can i access the Array Element Dynamicaly?

    I am grabbing the last rowid and i am doing this select @@IDENTITY pk = (long)cmd.ExecuteScalar(); I get an invalid typecast bc this is int instead of long. Why doesnt this return a long? can i make it return long? Solution for now is to use pk = Convert.ToInt64(cmd.ExecuteScalar());
