  Hi, I'm having some trouble using regular expression to get date in a string. Example : string text = "75000+ Sept.-Oct. 2004"; MatchCollection dates = Regex.Matches(text, @"[0-9]{5,}[+][\s](jan|feb|fev|mar|apr|avr|may|mai|jun|jui|jul|jui|aug|aoû|sept|oct|nov|dec)[\.][\-](jan|feb|fev|mar|apr|avr|may|mai|jun|jui|jul|jui|aug|aoû|sept|oct|nov|dec)[\.]\s[0-9]{4}", RegexOptions.IgnoreCase); This code is matching with my current string but i would like to get in my matchcollection, "Sept 2004" and "Oct 2004" in order to parse it in 2 datetime. If anyone have any idea, thanks a lot.

• alternative to lag SQL command

  I have a table which has a table like this. Month-----Book_Type-----sold_in_Dollars Jan----------A------------ 100 Jan----------B------------ 120 Feb----------A------------ 50 Mar----------A------------ 60 Mar----------B------------ 30 and so on I have to calculate the expected sales for each month and book type based on the last 2 months sales. So for March and type A it would be (100+50)/2 = 75 For March and type B it is 120/1 since no data for Feb is there. I was trying to use the lag function but it wouldn't work since there is data missing in a few rows. Any ideas on this?

• Apache mod_jk Setting for Tomcat - workers.properties

  I am trying to direct files with .jsp extensions to tomcat. Otherwise I want apache to serve the file directly (no tomcat). Currently I have a test.jsp which is supposed to create an HTML page with the current date in the body. Instead when I go to that .jsp I see the JK Status Manager. The mod_jk.logs only show, init_jk::mod_jk.c (3365): mod_jk/1.2.35 initialized. I have tomcat and apache setup on my server. Apache runs on 80 and tomcat runs on 8080. localhost:8080 show the tomcat welcome page. I downloaded tomcat-connectors-1.2.35-windows-i386-httpd-2.2.x and copied the mod_jk.so to C:\apache\modules. Then I added LoadModule jk_module modules/mod_jk.so to my httpd.conf. I restart apache and the module loads just fine. Next I downloaded the mod_jk source to get the workers.properties file. I copy workers.properties to C:\apache\confg. Then I added this user, workers.tomcat_home="C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Tomcat 7.0" workers.java_home="C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.7.0_03" worker.list=ajp13 worker.ajp13.port=8080 worker.ajp13.host=localhost worker.ajp13.type=ajp13 worker.ajp13.socket_timeout=10 When I try to use the ajp13 user in my httpd.conf I get the following error in my mod_jk.log, [Wed Mar 28 13:08:51 2012] [2196:4100] [info] ajp_connection_tcp_get_message::jk_ajp_common.c (1258): (ajp13) can't receive the response header message from tomcat, network problems or tomcat (127.0.0.1:8080) is down (errno=60) [Wed Mar 28 13:08:51 2012] [2196:4100] [error] ajp_get_reply::jk_ajp_common.c (2117): (ajp13) Tomcat is down or refused connection. • Installing Mod-wsgi 3.3 for apache 2.2 and python 3.2

  I am attempting to install Mod-wsgi 3.3 on an ubuntu 11.10 desktop edition with apache 2.2 and python 3.2 I downloaded the source tarball and extracted it. I configured it using the --with-python=/usr/bin/python3 option to configure. This is the only copy of python3 that I have installed. I then issued the commands make and sudo make install. I attempted to restart apache using sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart and get the following error message: apache2: Syntax error on line 203 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/wsgi.load: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/modules /mod_wsgi.so into server: /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_wsgi.so: undefined symbol: PyCObject_FromVoidPtr Action 'configtest' failed. The Apache error log may have more information. ...fail! I have read on another question that mod-python can present problems however it was never installed. I saw that the directive WSGIPythonHome can be used to point to the correct python version and created a directory /usr/bin/apache2-python/ with a link named python and python3(the name I passed to the configure script) to /usr/bin/python3 This results in the same error. So I'm pretty sure it's using the correct version of python. I am now at a loss.   I was running 11.10 and decided to do the full upgrade and come up to 12.04 after the update SSH (not SSHD) is now misbehaving when attempting to connect to other OpenSSH instances. I say OpenSSH as I am running a DropBear sshd on my router and I am able to connect to it.   Épp azon tunodöm, hogy blogom olvasói között van-e olyan, aki ne ismerné a asktom.oracle.com oldalt. Gyanítom, hogy kevesen vannak. Bár Tom mostanában elég elfoglaltnak tunik, hiszen népszeru oldalán jelenleg azt kéri, hogy elmaradásai miatt késobb kérdezzenek tole, most csupán a már megválaszolt kérdések böngészésére van lehetoség. Megjegyzem ez sem kis ajándék, ráadásul a mester aktivitását mutatja az az adat, amely a fooldalon látható: Az elmúlt négy hétben 47 új kérdést kapott, elolvasott 532 reakciót és megválaszolt ezek közül 380-at. Csoda, hogy van ideje átruccanni Európába, és eloadást tartani a hazai szakembereknek is. Információim szerint ez olyannyira egyedülálló lehetoség lesz, hogy eddig még ilyen nem volt Magyarországon, másrészt valószínuleg a jövoben nem is nagyon lesz még a régióban sem, mivel egyre inkább az a trend hogy úgynevezett virtual class-okat fog tartani o is, azaz személyesen majd maximum az éves OpenWorld konferencián lehet ot látni egy-egy eloadás erejéig. Áprilisban, Budapesten viszont két teljes napig lehet hallgatni tole a hasznosabbnál hasznosabb tanácsokat. Mik is lesznek ezek? Miért fontos a bind változók használata? Hogyan segíti a teljesítményt, a skálázhatóságot és még a biztonságot is? Hogyan muködik a materializált nézet? Mikor érdemes használni és hogyan lehet a leghasznosabbá tenni? Mikor milyen indexet érdemes használni? Mindenki tisztában van azzal, hogy indexekre szükség van, az már kevésbé egyértelmu mikor melyiket érdemes használni az optimális teljesítmény érdekében. Az eloadáson választ kapunk arra is Tom Kyte-tól, milyen szempontok alapján kell kiválasztani a megfelelo indexelést. Milyen adattárolási formákat érdemes választani? Elsore tán nem is gondolnánk hányféle trükk van az adatok optimális tárolására. Hogy csak a legfontosabbakat említsem: klaszeterezett adatszervezés, index-szervezésu tábla, particionálás, tömörítés. Mikor van szükség az adatok átszervezésére? Mik a legjobb technikák az adatok átszervezésére, hogyan lehet ezt úgy végrehajtani, hogy legkevésbé érintse az alkalmazás felhasználóit? Azt gondolom ezek a témák minden gyakorló rendszergazdának és Oracle fejlesztonek ismerosen csengenek, azonban abban egészen biztos vagyok, hogy mindenki számos újdonságot, hasznos tanácsot kaphat, ha részt vesz Thomas Kyte 2 napos tréningjén. • Egy klassz ADF eloadás

  Túl vagyunk a Technology Forum rendezvényünkön, és én azt gondolom nagyon hasznos volt. Grant nagyszeru eloadást tartott. Címe Forms to ADF: WHy and How. Szerintem maga a demó, ami persze nem letöltheto igazán hasznos volt nem csak Forms háttérrel rendelkezo fejlesztok számára is. Sok rendezvényünkön hintettük az igét ADF-vel kapcsolatban, de átüto penetrációt nem értünk el vele a hazai piacon. Ennek persze több oka is van/lehet. Egyrészrol még mindig azt gondolom (fejlesztoi múltamból fakadóan is), hogy Magyarországon mindenki saját fejlesztésu keretrendszerrel szeret dolgozni. Ezen persze órákat lehet vitatkozni pro és kontra amit akár egy másik bejegyzésben szívesen meg i teszek ha van rá igény. De tény az, hogy már elmúltak azok az idok amikor nem voltak használható keretrendszerek, vagy ha úgy tetszik komponensek. Mégis, megéri manapság lefejleszteni pl: egy üzenetküldo (messaging) alrendszert. Hát szerintem nem, mint ahogy ma már perzisztencia kezelo réteget se állunk neki megírni. Persze ha a projekt elbírja, akkor kifizetodo. Szerencsére egyre több cég ismeri fel és várja el, hogy nem kell neki lefejleszteni egy komplett keretrendszert mikor számos használható van a piacon. Visszatérve az alap kérdésre, az ADF-re azt gondolom, hogy egy fo vissza tartó ero volt a termék érettsége, funkcionalitása és leginkább jövoképe. Nos e tekintetben elismerem, hogy bár több, mint 10 éves múltra tekint vissza korábban voltak buktatók, zsákutcák. Ugyanakkor nem szabad elfelejteni, hogy az Oracle maga ezzel fejleszti új generációs, modern Fusion Appplications (EBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft stb.) alkalmazásait. Tehát több mint ezer(!) fejleszto használja nap, mint nap Java EE alkalmazás fejlesztésére. Nem kevés hangsúlyt fordítva az integrációs, testreszabhatósági képességekre. Olyannyira hangsúlyos eszköz lett, hogy az Oracle teljes middleware portfoliójában visszaköszön. Ami pedig a funkcionalitást, a felhasználói felületet, a produktivitást illeti tényleg jó. Persze az utolsó és egyben legfontosabb szempont kishazánkban az ár. Nos tényleg nincs ingyen. Pontosabban ha az ember vesz egy Weblogic szervert (amúgyis kell a futtatáshoz egy JEE szerver) akkor ingyenesen használható. A termékhez pedig dokumentáció, support, javítás, blogok, közösségi fórumok stb. áll rendelkezésünkre. És akkor most újabb vita indulhat arról, hogy akarunk e fizetni a szerverért. Na errol tényleg fogok indítani egy bejegyzést majd. Mert én azt hiszem, tapasztalatom, hogy itthon összekeverik az open source modelt az ingyenességgel. Azért az alapigazság szerintem még mindig áll: ingyen nincsen semmi. Kérdés csak az, hogy mik az igényeink, elvárásaink.

• Web Platform Installer bundles for Visual Studio 2010 SP1 - and how you can build your own WebPI bundles

  Visual Studio SP1 is  now available via the Web Platform Installer, which means you've got three options: Download the 1.5 GB ISO image Run the 750KB Web Installer (which figures out what you need to download) Install via Web PI Note: I covered some tips for installing VS2010 SP1 last week - including some that apply to all of these, such as removing options you don't use prior to installing the service pack to decrease the installation time and download size. Two Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Web PI packages There are actually two WebPI packages for VS2010 SP1. There's the standard Visual Studio 2010 SP1 package [Web PI link], which includes (quoting ScottGu's post): VS2010 2010 SP1 ASP.NET MVC 3 (runtime + tools support) IIS 7.5 Express SQL Server Compact Edition 4.0 (runtime + tools support) Web Deployment 2.0 The notes on that package sum it up pretty well: Looking for the latest everything? Look no further. This will get you Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 and the RTM releases of ASP.NET MVC 3, IIS 7.5 Express, SQL Server Compact 4.0 with tooling, and Web Deploy 2.0. It's the value meal of Microsoft products. Tell your friends! Note: This bundle includes the Visual Studio 2010 SP1 web installer, which will dynamically determine the appropriate service pack components to download and install. This is typically in the range of 200-500 MB and will take 30-60 minutes to install, depending on your machine configuration. There is also a Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Core package [Web PI link], which only includes only the SP without any of the other goodies (MVC3, IIS Express, etc.). If you're doing any web development, I'd highly recommend the main pack since it the other installs are small, simple installs, but if you're working in another space, you might want the core package. Installing via the Web Platform Installer I generally like to go with the Web PI when possible since it simplifies most software installations due to things like: Smart dependency management - installing apps or tools which have software dependencies will automatically figure out which dependencies you don't have and add them to the list (which you can review before install) Simultaneous download and install - if your install includes more than one package, it will automatically pull the dependencies first and begin installing them while downloading the others Lists the latest downloads - no need to search around, as they're all listed based on a live feed Includes open source applications - a lot of popular open source applications are included as well as Microsoft software and tools No worries about reinstallation - WebPI installations detect what you've got installed, so for instance if you've got MVC 3 installed you don't need to worry about the VS2010 SP1 package install messing anything up In addition to the links I included above, you can install the WebPI from http://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx, and if you have Web PI installed you can just tap the Windows key and type "Web Platform" to bring it up in the Start search list. You'll see Visual Studio SP1 listed in the spotlight list as shown below. That's the standard package, which includes MVC 3 / IIS 7.5 Express / SQL Compact / Web Deploy. If you just want the core install, you can use the search box in the upper right corner, typing in "Visual Studio SP1" as shown. Core Install: Use Web PI or the Visual Studio Web Installer? I think the big advantage of using Web PI to install VS 2010 SP1 is that it includes the other new bits. If you're going to install the SP1 core, I don't think there's as much advantage to using Web PI, as the Web PI Core install just downloads the Visual Studio Web Installer anyways. I think Web PI makes it a little easier to find the download, but not a lot. The Visual Studio Web Installer checks dependencies, so there's no big advantage there. If you do happen to hit any problems installing Visual Studio SP1 via Web PI, I'd recommend running the Visual Studio Web Installer, then running the Web PI VS 2010 SP1 package to get all the other goodies. I talked to one person who hit some random snag, recommended that, and it worked out. Custom Web Platform Installer bundles You can create links that will launch the Web Platform Installer with a custom list of tools. You can see an example of this by clicking through on the install button at http://asp.net/downloads (cancelling the installation dialog). You'll see this in the address bar: http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/install.aspx?appsxml=&appid=MVC3;ASPNET;NETFramework4;SQLExpress;VWD Notice that the appid querystring parameter includes a semicolon delimited list, and you can make your own custom Web PI links with your own desired app list. I can think of a lot of cases where that would be handy: linking to a recommended software configuration from a software project or product, setting up a recommended / documented / supported install list for a software development team or IT shop, etc. For instance, here's a link that installs just VS2010 SP1 Core and the SQL CE tools: http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/install.aspx?appsxml=&appid=VS2010SP1Core;SQLCETools Note: If you've already got all or some of the products installed, the display will reflect that. On my dev box which has the full SP1 package, here's what the above link gives me: Here's another example - on a fresh box I created a link to install MVC 3 and the Web Farm Framework (http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/install.aspx?appsxml=&appid=MVC3;WebFarmFramework) and got the following items added to the cart: But where do I get the App ID's? Aha, that's the trick. You can link to a list of cool packages, but you need to know the App ID's to link to them. • Megjelent az Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g

  Megjelent és letöltheto az Oracle Enterprise Manager 11gR1. Remélem az olvasók közül többen látták már a bejelentés videóját. Aki lemaradt volna róla bepótolhatja itt. Az új verzió számos újdonságot tartalmaz, melyek röviden összefoglalva az alábbiak: Eloször is az új verzió célja az alkalmazások üzemeltetése üzleti szemszögbol (Business Driven Application Management). A hagyományos komponens alapú rendszer menedzsment megközelítése egyszeruen nem állja meg a helyét az mai IT világában. Ezzel szemben a Business Driven Application Management segíti az üzemeltetoket, hogy az üzletet a leheto leghatékonyabban szolgálják ki, aminek eredményeképp az üzleti eredmények a legoptimálisabban alakulhatnak. A Business Driven Application Management elérése érdekében a 11gR1 a 10g-ben már elérheto végfelhasználói élmény monitorozásra épít. Ezzel a képességgel az IT sokkal jobban megérti, hogy a felhasználók hogyan használják az alkalmazásokat és eközben mit tapasztalnak. Ezt kiegészítve az új verzió fejlettebb üzleti tranzakció menedzsment képességekkel rendelkezik, ezáltal könnyebbé és gyorsabbá teszi a felhasználók számára problémát jelento tranzakciók javítását. Másodsorban az új verzió az alkalmazástól a diszk rétegig (Integrated Application-to-Disk Management) támogatja az üzemeltetést. Mivel minden egyes réteg képes befolyásolni a felhasználói élményt, ezért amint a felhasználókat érinto probléma detektálásra kerül, szükséges az érintett réteg részletes diagnosztikája, elemzése. Az Oracle Enterprise Manager 11gR1 natív támogatást ad az Oracle Database 11gR2, Exadata V2 és Fusion Middleware 11g termékekre. Az összetett alkalmazások menedzsmentjét támogató JVM Diagnosztika és Composite Application Monitoring and Modeler immár szerves részét képezik az új verziónak. Sot, az Enterprise Manager Grid Control és az Enterprise Manager Ops Center elso integrációs lépcsoje is elkészült, így a hardver szintu események is központilag monitorozhatók a Grid Control felületérol. Végül pedig az új verzió integrált rendszer menedzsement és támogatás (Integrated Systems Management and Support) képességgel rendelkezik. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g integrálja a probléma diagnosztizálás és megoldás munkafolyamatát azáltal, hogy közvetlenül a Grid Control-ból lehetségessé válik a My Oracle Support szolgáltatásainak igénybevétele, mint például a szükséges patch-ek letöltése, service request nyitása, stb. Az Oracle support személyzete pedig az Enterprise Manager konfiguráció kezelési képességei révén azonnal információt gyujthetnek a környezetrol, hogy felgyorsuljon a probléma megoldás ideje. Ez a szoros integráció az Oracle Enterprise Manager és a My Oracle Support között segítheti ügyfeleinket a leghatékonyabb Oracle üzemeltetés elérésében.
