• Can Response.Redirect work in a private void MVC 2 Function?

  I have a private void function set for some validation. Should my validation fail, I would like to redirect to another ActionResult and kill the process for the ActionResult that was being used. • How do you add a row to a databound datagridview using the datagridview in the gui?

  Hi guys, I've bound a datagridview to a collection of objects. It's giving me a null reference exception when I try to add a new row to a collection (empty or otherwise) using the gui. More specifically, when there is a write event it does this. How can I override the behavior of the write event and manually add all of the columns contents to the object collection? I could disable the add new row feature and make an add button, but the built in datagridview row add looks so much more slick.

  Hello, i dunno if the question is already ask, but i couldn't find it... i'm searching a way to mock my view in order to test my presenter ? i try to use mockito for the view, and set it in the presenter, but in result in presenter, when i call presenter.getDisplay() (the getter for the view) all of my widget is null ? as i believe it's normal mockito will not mock the widget. i'm 100% sure i mistaken something but i couldnt find it. thanks for your enlightement :)

  Wrote a Truck show Contest voting app, financial etc using sqlite. decided to write backup app for show day using ce 3.5. Created db moved to data directory, created tables configured dgridviews all is well. Entered some test data started management studio 08 ran select query against table and got null returns. Started app from vs studio and found that test data is gone. Re entered data ran query in MS data gone again. If I use VS Studio can start and enter data, close app restart and data is still there, seems only when using outside tool on select query data deletes. I don't know ce that well but this cannot be right. select * from votes = delete * from votes??????????????

  I need to register a custom ELResolver for a Google App Engine project. Since it must be registered before any request is received, as specified by the Javadoc: It is illegal to register an ELResolver after the application has received any request from the client. If an attempt is made to register an ELResolver after that time, an IllegalStateException is thrown. • Saving Blob data from SQLite database to a file

  Hello, I'm trying to save blob data from a SQLite database (Safari cache: Cache.db) to a file, but for some reason sqlite won't read the whole blob. I eventually would like to do this in ruby, but for now something that works directly in sqlite command prompt is fine. Also, I've read all of the entries that talk about this here on stackoverflow, but most of them only discuss the performance of saving images in blobs and the one entry that does show to save blobs to file is in C# which does not help me.   I'm interested in returning an empty result set from SQL Server stored procedures in certain events. The intended behaviour is that a L2SQL DataContext.SPName().SingleOrDefault() will result in CLR null value. I'm presently using the following solution, but I'm unsure whether it would be considered bad practice, a performance hazard (I could not find one by reading the execution plan), or if there is simply a better way: SELECT * FROM [dbo].[TableName] WHERE 0 = 1; The execution plan is a constant scan with a trivial cost associated with it. The reason I am asking this instead of simply not running any SELECTs is because I'm concerned previous SELECT @scalar or SELECT INTO statements could cause unintended result sets to be served back to L2SQL. Am I worrying over nothing?

• ForceContext Queries method twice?

So I can clearly see when its accessed more than once in a minute. If I comment out the second contextSwitch line, it only goes up 1, if Its not, it displays the xml page but adds 2 minutes (being called twice somehow). Any ideas?

  Whenever Resharper encounters code like this: (treeListNode.Tag as GridLine).AdvertiserSeparation = 5; it presents you with a possible fix (since treeListNode.Tag as GridLine might be null). It says: 'Replace with Direct Cast', which turns the code into the following: ((GridLine) treeListNode.Tag).AdvertiserSeparation = 5; This is great. However, when it encounters code like this: GridLine line = treeListNode.Tag as GridLine; line.AdvertiserSeparation = 5; Resharper simply displays a warning 'Possible System.NullReferenceException', but does not offer me to 'Replace with Direct Cast'. Is there a way to make Resharper offer me this refactoring, since it already has it?

  Hi I have a SSIS package that copies data from table A to table B and sets a flag in table A so that the same data is not copied subsequently. This works great by using the following as the SQL command text on the ADO Net Source object: update transfer set ProcessDateTimeStamp = GetDate(), LastUpdatedBy = 'legacy processed' output inserted.* where LastUpdatedBy = 'legacy' and ProcessDateTimeStamp is not null The problem I have is that I need to run a similar data copy but from two sources table, joined on a primary / foreign key - select from table A join table B update flag in table A. I don't think I can use the technique above because I don't know where I'd put the join! Is there another way around this problem? Thanks Rob.

The object has a series of dependency properties. Some are double, int, string but some are also of DependencyObject type. I need to save the value of the property before it is changed, and for this I added the CoerceValueCallback. public static readonly DependencyProperty MyBackgroundProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("MyBackground", typeof(MyCustomizableBackground), typeof(MyComponent), new UIPropertyMetadata(default(MyCustomizableBackground), null, new CoerceValueCallback(OnPropertyChanged))); In OnPropertyChanged I save the value before it's changed. MyCustomizableBackground is the DependencyObject that has also some dependency properties. The problem is that in this case, where I have a custom object as a property, the OnPropertyChanged method isn't triggered, but when I have a common type, it is triggered.

  I am using a Custom Attribute to define how a class's members are mapped to properties for posting as a form post (Payment Gateway). I have the custom attribute working just fine, and am able to get the attribute by "name", but would like to get the attribute by the member itself. For example: getFieldName("name"); vs getFieldName(obj.Name); The plan is to write a method to serialize the class with members into a postable string.   I have a function that attaches the jQuery UI DatePicker (with my options) to a passed jQuery object: function bindDatepicker($obj) { if ($obj == null) $obj = $("input.date"); $obj.datepicker( { appendText: '(yyyy-mm-dd)', autoSize: true, changeMonth: true, changeYear: true, closeText: 'Done', dateFormat: 'yy-mm-dd', defaultDate: '+1m', minDate: +1, numberOfMonths: 2 } ); } I call this at the beginning of every page to bind it to input elements: $(function() { bindDatepicker($("input.date")); }); This works fine. My problem comes in when I load form elements using $.load(). I cannot attach the DatePicker to any of the loaded elements. For example: $("#id").load("urlToLoad", function() { bindDatepicker($("input.date")); }); Loads the form elements into a div just fine, but will not attach the DatePicker. Why is this?
