SQLce Select query problem

Wrote a Truck show Contest voting app, financial etc using sqlite. decided to write backup app for show day using ce 3.5. Created db moved to data directory, created tables configured dgridviews all is well. Entered some test data started management studio 08 ran select query against table and got null returns. Started app from vs studio and found that test data is gone. Re entered data ran query in MS data gone again. If I use VS Studio can start and enter data, close app restart and data is still there, seems only when using outside tool on select query data deletes. I don't know ce that well but this cannot be right. select * from votes = delete * from votes??????????????

Detecting incorrect key using AES/GCM in JAVA

I'm using AES to encrypt/decrypt some files in GCM mode using BouncyCastle. While I'm proving wrong key for decryption there is no exception. MacBook Pro Late 2009 SATA Resets, Slowness (Is my motherboard dying on both machines?)

My MacBook Pro runs slower the longer it's on. I am getting kernel warnings. Some, but not all, resets correlate with AC power connects and disconnects. I don't think the warnings do. (How do I tell?) What are these errors? What causes them? Can this damage the drive or corrupt data? Unable to access global variable defined in settings.php [Drupal]

I am developing a website using Drupal 6.16. I want to define a variable in settings.php like $ge_path = 'some/path/here'; And I want to use it inside my modules. function mymodule_block(....) { global $ge_path; $fullPath = $ge_path . '/another/path'; doSomething($fullPath); } But I am getting NULL as the value of $ge_path. Why am I not able to access the global variable defines in settings.php? How can I get the proper value inside my module functions? The funny thing is, I am able to access $db_url['default'] and $db_url['mydatabase'] etc.. which are defined just two lines above $ge_path in settings.php!

Custom Attributes on Class Members

I am using a Custom Attribute to define how a class's members are mapped to properties for posting as a form post (Payment Gateway). I have the custom attribute working just fine, and am able to get the attribute by "name", but would like to get the attribute by the member itself. For example: getFieldName("name"); vs getFieldName(obj.Name); The plan is to write a method to serialize the class with members into a postable string. Binding jQuery UI plugin after $.load

My problem comes in when I load form elements using $.load(). I cannot attach the DatePicker to any of the loaded elements. For example: $("#id").load("urlToLoad", function() { bindDatepicker($("input.date")); }); Loads the form elements into a div just fine, but will not attach the DatePicker. Why is this? WPF DependencyProperty event before content changed

First I will explain the context of the problem, because you might be able to point me in a better direction. I need to implement a undo-redo like system on an object. The object has a series of dependency properties. Some are double, int, string but some are also of DependencyObject type. I need to save the value of the property before it is changed, and for this I added the CoerceValueCallback. public static readonly DependencyProperty MyBackgroundProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("MyBackground", typeof(MyCustomizableBackground), typeof(MyComponent), new UIPropertyMetadata(default(MyCustomizableBackground), null, new CoerceValueCallback(OnPropertyChanged))); In OnPropertyChanged I save the value before it's changed. MyCustomizableBackground is the DependencyObject that has also some dependency properties. The problem is that in this case, where I have a custom object as a property, the OnPropertyChanged method isn't triggered, but when I have a common type, it is triggered.

I need to take all the values in an excel file to a temporary/physical table in SQL Server 2005. I don't need the Import export method. Server-initiated Rendering: EJB -> FacesContext?

I've already asked this question on the Icefaces forum, but meanwhile I realized that this is a more generic problem. I'd like to update parts of a JSF page when I get a message in my MDB. The problem is, how do I get the FacesContext from the EJB container? In the message processing function FacesContext.getCurrentInstance() returns null. I've also tried to make a JSF managed bean be a MDB, but I couldn't (it seems you can't have both in the same class?). Since I'm a beginner in the JSF world I'm kind of stuck now. Is there a way to make it work? (Glassfish v3 + Netbeans 6.8, JSF2 + Icefaces 2.0 alpha2)

I built an OSMF video player, and I'd like to use this instead of the FLVPlayback component, which seems like the only way to add an actionscript cuepoint? I've got a query that takes an input searches for the closet match in zipcode/region/city/metrocode in a location table containing a few tens of thousands of entries (should be nearly every city in the US). The query I'm using is: select metrocode, region, postalcode, region_full, city from dv_location where ( region ilike '%Chicago%' or postalcode ilike '%Chicago%' or city ilike '%Chicago%' or region_full ilike'%Chicago%' ) and metrocode is not null Odd thing is, the results set I'm getting back looks like this: metrocode;region;postalcode;region_full;city 862;CA;95712;California;Chicago Park 862;CA;95712;California;Chicago Park 602;IL;60611;Illinois;Chicago 602;IL;60610;Illinois;Chicago What am I doing wrong? My thinking is that Chicago would have greater weight than Chicago Park since Chicago is an exact match to the term (even though I'm asking for a wildcard match on the term).

Is this doable? And how?

Inserting nil Values into Sqlite Database?

I am working on an iPhone App where I am pulling data from an XML file and inserting it into a sqlite database located in the App. I am able to successfully do this process, but it appears that if I try to sqlite3_bind_text with a NSString that has a value of "nil", the App quickly dies. Evaluate ContentControl without rendering to screen

I have a datagrid and I'm writing a method to search through it to find some text. Practically all of my columns use a DataTemplateSelector, so in my search, I need to be able to take a DataTemplate, apply it to a ContentControl, and then find a TextBlock to get the text to see if it matches my search criteria. I'm trying the following but it's not seeming to produce any results.
