• GWT and Mock the view in MVP pattern

  Hello, i dunno if the question is already ask, but i couldn't find it... i'm searching a way to mock my view in order to test my presenter ? i try to use mockito for the view, and set it in the presenter, but in result in presenter, when i call presenter.getDisplay() (the getter for the view) all of my widget is null ? as i believe it's normal mockito will not mock the widget. i'm 100% sure i mistaken something but i couldnt find it. thanks for your enlightement :)

  Hi I have a SSIS package that copies data from table A to table B and sets a flag in table A so that the same data is not copied subsequently. This works great by using the following as the SQL command text on the ADO Net Source object: update transfer set ProcessDateTimeStamp = GetDate(), LastUpdatedBy = 'legacy processed' output inserted.* where LastUpdatedBy = 'legacy' and ProcessDateTimeStamp is not null The problem I have is that I need to run a similar data copy but from two sources table, joined on a primary / foreign key - select from table A join table B update flag in table A. I don't think I can use the technique above because I don't know where I'd put the join! Is there another way around this problem? Thanks Rob.

  First I will explain the context of the problem, because you might be able to point me in a better direction. I need to implement a undo-redo like system on an object. The object has a series of dependency properties. Some are double, int, string but some are also of DependencyObject type. I need to save the value of the property before it is changed, and for this I added the CoerceValueCallback. public static readonly DependencyProperty MyBackgroundProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("MyBackground", typeof(MyCustomizableBackground), typeof(MyComponent), new UIPropertyMetadata(default(MyCustomizableBackground), null, new CoerceValueCallback(OnPropertyChanged))); In OnPropertyChanged I save the value before it's changed. MyCustomizableBackground is the DependencyObject that has also some dependency properties. The problem is that in this case, where I have a custom object as a property, the OnPropertyChanged method isn't triggered, but when I have a common type, it is triggered.

  I am developing a website using Drupal 6.16. I want to define a variable in settings.php like $ge_path = 'some/path/here'; And I want to use it inside my modules. function mymodule_block(....) { global $ge_path; $fullPath = $ge_path . '/another/path'; doSomething($fullPath); } But I am getting NULL as the value of $ge_path. Why am I not able to access the global variable defines in settings.php? How can I get the proper value inside my module functions? The funny thing is, I am able to access $db_url['default'] and $db_url['mydatabase'] etc.. which are defined just two lines above $ge_path in settings.php!

I'm using Excel 2003, and I've already added the linked server for "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0."

• MacBook Pro Late 2009 SATA Resets, Slowness (Is my motherboard dying on both machines?)

  My MacBook Pro runs slower the longer it's on. I am getting kernel warnings. Some, but not all, resets correlate with AC power connects and disconnects. I don't think the warnings do. (How do I tell?) What are these errors? What causes them? Can this damage the drive or corrupt data?   I'm interested in returning an empty result set from SQL Server stored procedures in certain events. The intended behaviour is that a L2SQL DataContext.SPName().SingleOrDefault() will result in CLR null value. I'm presently using the following solution, but I'm unsure whether it would be considered bad practice, a performance hazard (I could not find one by reading the execution plan), or if there is simply a better way: SELECT * FROM [dbo].[TableName] WHERE 0 = 1; The execution plan is a constant scan with a trivial cost associated with it. The reason I am asking this instead of simply not running any SELECTs is because I'm concerned previous SELECT @scalar or SELECT INTO statements could cause unintended result sets to be served back to L2SQL. Am I worrying over nothing?

• How can I modify a custom object in an ASP.NET FormView based on a button click?

  I have a FormView that modifies an instance of a custom class. The various form controls (TextBox, DropDownList etc.) are working fine. However, I want to include a Button that will modify the state of the DataItem based on some very simple logic. There is no form control which could control this change in a non-confusing way. So I tried adding a Button and modifying the state of the DataItem in the code-behind. But the problem I encounter is that the FormView's DataItem is null/nothing. From reading this SO question it seems the problem is that the item is not databound when the Button's Click event is fired. So, the question; Is it possible to get the DataItem for the FormView during a Button's Click event? and if not: what are my options for implementing this? Thanks in advance.   Hello, I'm trying to save blob data from a SQLite database (Safari cache: Cache.db) to a file, but for some reason sqlite won't read the whole blob. I eventually would like to do this in ruby, but for now something that works directly in sqlite command prompt is fine. Also, I've read all of the entries that talk about this here on stackoverflow, but most of them only discuss the performance of saving images in blobs and the one entry that does show to save blobs to file is in C# which does not help me. It says: 'Replace with Direct Cast', which turns the code into the following: ((GridLine) treeListNode.Tag).AdvertiserSeparation = 5; This is great. However, when it encounters code like this: GridLine line = treeListNode.Tag as GridLine; line.AdvertiserSeparation = 5; Resharper simply displays a warning 'Possible System.NullReferenceException', but does not offer me to 'Replace with Direct Cast'. Is there a way to make Resharper offer me this refactoring, since it already has it?

  I am using a Custom Attribute to define how a class's members are mapped to properties for posting as a form post (Payment Gateway). I have the custom attribute working just fine, and am able to get the attribute by "name", but would like to get the attribute by the member itself.   I've already asked this question on the Icefaces forum, but meanwhile I realized that this is a more generic problem. I'd like to update parts of a JSF page when I get a message in my MDB. The problem is, how do I get the FacesContext from the EJB container? In the message processing function FacesContext.getCurrentInstance() returns null. I've also tried to make a JSF managed bean be a MDB, but I couldn't (it seems you can't have both in the same class?). Since I'm a beginner in the JSF world I'm kind of stuck now. Is there a way to make it work? (Glassfish v3 + Netbeans 6.8, JSF2 + Icefaces 2.0 alpha2)
