  hello, I am using Selenium RC with Junit framework. I am trying to upload a file using attachFile() method. attachFile: (Information collected from selenium API http://release.seleniumhq.org/selenium-remote-control/1.0-beta-2/doc/java/com/thoughtworks/selenium/Selenium.html#attachFile(java.lang.String,%20java.lang.String)) void attachFile(java.lang.String fieldLocator, java.lang.String fileLocator) Sets a file input (upload) field to the file listed in fileLocator Parameters: fieldLocator - an element locator fileLocator - a URL pointing to the specified file. Before the file can be set in the input field (fieldLocator), Selenium RC may need to transfer the file to the local machine before attaching the file in a web page form. This is common in selenium grid configurations where the RC server driving the browser is not the same machine that started the test. Supported Browsers: Firefox ("*chrome") only. Can anyone please tell me how to define "fileLocator". I am not getting which URL to be specify over here. Please give me an example if possible.

• Mutable class as a child of an immutable class

  I want to have immutable Java objects like this (strongly simplyfied): class Immutable { protected String name; public Immutable(String name) { this.name = name; } public String getName() { return name; } } In some cases the object should not only be readable but mutable, so I could add mutability through inheritance: public class Mutable extends Immutable { public Mutable(String name) { super(name); } public void setName(String name) { super.name = name; } } While this is technically fine, I wonder if it conforms with OOP and inheritance that mutable is also of type immutable. I want to avoid the OOP crime to throw UnsupportedOperationException for immutable object, like the Java collections API does. What do you think? Any other ideas?

Basically I have defined Parameters!RP_cll_typ_l1 as multivalued into my subreport as per ssrs multivalued parameter passing method. The value is going on sub report as '1,2,3,4' (not understandable by data set) It should be like as '1’,’2’,’3’,’4' or 1,2,3,4 How can I resolve this please help if any have solution?   Hi there, I have a base class called Items and 3 derived classes, and within the Items base class i have a print function of the form public void print(){ System.out.println("ID " + id + " Title " + title + " <" + year + "> "); } and within every derived class I call the Items print function through super.print(); which is followed by a specific print function relating to the derived class. My problem is, whenever the printing is executed from one of the derived classes the printed text is not on the same line. So super.print() will be in the line above the derived class print function. How do I get them both to be on the same line?

• Must I call super when I implement -scrollViewDidScroll: of UIScrollViewDelegate in an UITableView?

  I made a custom UITableView subclass and implemented this: - (void)scrollViewDidScroll:(UIScrollView *)scrollView { // scrolled... } Now, what I think is that UITableView may also love to get this message for some obvious reasons. However, when I don't forward that to super, for some reason, everything still works fine. Must I forward that guy to super? I mean...it's a delegate method implementation, but as far as I'm aware of, this would still override anything implemented in UITableView, or not? Edit: I see...the delegate could be anyone. Never mind about this. BUT: What I have such a thing in a superclass, and make a subclass. How would I even know that the superclass does implement that method and I must forward it to super?

• Segue Popover won't behave properly

  I'm trying to use Segue to present then dismiss a Popover view a UIBarButtonItem is clicked. I've created a generic Segue that is not anchored to anything but the view and given it a name I've Anchored the UIBarButtonItem in the Interface Builder to: - (IBAction)clickedSettings:(id)sender { if(self.popSegue != nil) { [self.popSegue.popoverController dismissPopoverAnimated:YES]; } else { //Current says only a button may [self performSegueWithIdentifier:@"Settings" sender:sender]; } } But when ever i click the button to display the Segue it gives me an error: Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'UIStoryboardPopoverSegue must be presented from a bar button item or a view.' It doesn't even hit my -(void)prepareForSegue:(UIStoryboardSegue *)segue sender:(id)sender I've read the following questions on stack: iOS:How to dismiss Popover UIBarButtonItem + popover segue creates multiple popovers But i still get the same error.   Hi, I just downloaded xcode 3.2.3 (seperate directory installation) and ios 4 to my iphone. I'm having a problem with networkActivityIndicatorVisible. This works on 3.1.3, both phone and simulator. My code is (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillAppear:animated]; UIApplication* app2 = [UIApplication sharedApplication]; app2.networkActivityIndicatorVisible = YES; [self loadSources]; // Loads data in table view app2.networkActivityIndicatorVisible = NO; } I get the same effect in the simulator and on the phone both with ios 4.o The networkActivity indicator becomes visible for a fraction of a second and then invisible and this is done after loading the data for the tableView.   I'm trying to write a Greasemonkey script to update the onclick value of a bunch of links on a page. The HTML looks like this: <a onclick="OpenGenericPopup('url-99.asp','popup',500,500,false)" href="javascript:void(0)">text</a> I need to update the url-99.asp part of the Javascript into something like urlB-99.asp.   i have a file which will be used across many app projects. the only difference of these files is the webserice referrence name. code like this: public void Test(){ Kevin.ServiceReference1.Service1Client client = new Kevin.ServiceReference1.Service1Client(); // do something.... } like code above, the 'Kevin.ServiceReference1' will be replace by specified app project namespace. so, according to DRY(dont repeat yourself), i shouldn't just copy the file to many projects and rename the specified part manually. is there any way i can easily replace some parts of my template file to something related to the project?

• Passing touch events on to subviews

  I have a view within a UIScrollView that loads an additional subview when the user presses a certain area. When this additional subview is visible, I want all touch events to be handled by this - and not by the scrollview. It seems like the first couple events are being handled by the subview, but then touchesCancelled is called and the scrollview takes over the touch detection. How can I make sure that the subview gets all the events as long as the movement activity is being performed on this view? • IIS7 Integrated Pipeline - Response.End not ending the request.

  I have the following bit of code that worked as expected before we upgraded to Integrated Pipeline in IIS7. public void RedirectPermanently(string url, bool clearCookies) { Response.ClearContent(); Response.StatusCode = 301; Response.AppendHeader("Location", url); if(clearCookies) { Response.Cookies.Clear(); Response.Flush(); Response.End(); } } Previously when this method was executed, if clearCookies was true, the response would be sent to the client and request processing would end. Now under Integrated Pipeline Response.End() does not seem to end processing. The page continues running as if the method was never called. Big question is, why and what changed! Thanks.

  I have a .Net webserivce that accepts XML in string format. XML String sent into the webserivce can represent any Object in the system. I need to check the first node to figure out what object to deserialize the XML string. For this I will have to load the XML into an XMLDocument (Don't want to use RegEx or string compare). I am wondering if there is a way to Deserialize the XMLDocument/XMLNode rather that deserializing the string to save some performance? Is there going to be any performance benefit serializing the XMLNode rather that the string? • No scrolling occurs when UITableView scrollToRowAtIndexPath is invoked

  My view contains a simple TableView with 6 rows and a button that invokes doScroll when clicked. My objective for doScroll() is simply scroll to the 5th cell such that it's at top of the table view. - (void)doScroll: (id)sender { NSIndexPath *index = [NSIndexPath indexPathForRow:4 inSection: 1]; [m_tableView scrollToRowAtIndexPath:index atScrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionTop animated:YES]; } However when doScroll is invoked, the tableview scrolls only slightly. I suspect this has something to do with the size of the scroll view. So I tried increasing the height of m_tableview.contentsize before scrolling. After I do this however, no scrolling occurs at all... The view controller is a simple UIViewController and refers to the table view via IBOutlet. For some reason, scrolling works as expected for the default Navigation Based Application, where the controller is a UITableViewController

  Hey Guys I'm playing around with Interops and I thought: "Hey let's code something that accesses the clipboard ..." so I googled and found some articles (yeah I'm doing it with WPF - .Net 3.5). Please help.

  I'm running into a problem with the MPMoviePlayerContentPreloadDidFinishNotification notification. I've regisered to recieve the MPMoviePlayerContentPreloadDidFinishNotification notification and MPMoviePlayerPlaybackDidFinishNotification but the first one never fires. Is this bug in Firmware OS 3.0 ? maybe fixed in 3.1 ? or ? Because my divice and similator is 3.0 maybe this is a bug ? My code : ...
