• Why do calls to waveOutGetPosition hang?

  I'm using the winmm.dll API method waveOutGetPosition to get the current position of the playback of a WAV file. Sometimes this works as expected for me, but eventually one of the calls never returns and my application locks up.   Anyone seen this before? CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'. An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Documents and Settings\..\App_Data\HelloWorld.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. I'm asking on a friend's behalf. • Scaffolding Extensions: NoMethodError

  Not sure if many people are familiar with Scaffolding Extensions for Ruby, but I've looked through their docs, forums, and even the source code of the Heroku test site, and not found an answer. I made a basic Sinatra app and followed right from the RDoc's instructions: require 'scaffolding_extensions' require 'sinatra/base' class Thingy < Sinatra::Base scaffold_all_models end gives undefined method 'scaffold_all_models' for Thingy:Class (NoMethodError) and I know Scaffolding Extensions is loadable because I can successfully set some config variables in its classes.

However I'm thinking about the scunthorpe problem. (see wikipedia I can't post the link, I'm a new user) Is there a white list of words like scunthorpe and manuscript that I can use to override a black list? (not interested in discussions about sensorship etc)

  How can I remove the current cell focus from a Windows Forms datagridview ? I have a dialog with some datagridforms and initially I don't want to have a cell selection. Actually in every gridview the cell [1,1] is selected I have already searched in some forums, but the provided solutions doesn't work. For example often it is recommended to set CurrentCell = null -- but this has no effect. Has anybody another solution, which really works ;-) ?

In my opinion raw data given, has to be normalized into some form. However a discussion with a friend has led to ask me this question here.   I'm using interface builder's tag feature to access some UILabels I'm instantiating in a xib file. Since this a UITextViewCell I want to avoid superfluous method calls, but I want to do it right too. • Qt - QPushButton text formatting

  I have a QPushButton and on that I have a text and and icon. I want to make the text on the button to be bold and red. Looked at other forums, googled and lost my hope. Seems there is no way to do that if the button has an icon (of course if you don't creat a new icon wich is text+former icon). Is that the only way? Anyone has a better idea?

  hi , I've had this discussion with my professor at college about UML diagrams . hi believes that sequence diagrams should be drawn before getting to class diagrams . but I think the opposite . I think after finishing the usecase diagram , the next diagram should be class diagram and after that we should get to sequence diagram . Rational rose requires us to use the classes in sequence diagram, which are already in class diagram . can anyone help me with this? thanks
