Surely its just two right? one for the server one for the client, but this seems to obvious. My mates thinks TCP uses two ports at the server end for for data in and one for data out. thanks in advance

I need to store words according to 2 initial letters which is 676 combinations and each word has its number of occurrences (minimal, maximal, average) in text.   Hey all, I'm practicing Jquery and I've written this simple Jquery statement: var someText = $("table tr td").text(); Should this not return all text of td elements found within tr's that are found within tables? How do I fix this? Currently when I run this, it says that table tr td is null, but I have a table on the page I'm testing on. Thanks!

• A good way to release fixtures

  Hey, my problem is as follows, I am trying to create code where a set of sporting fixtures are created with dates on. Say I have 8 teams, with 7 rounds of fixtures. I have generated the fixtures, but want to add a date generation on them. So if i had 7 rounds, I would put 28 days and it would make each round 4 days from now, 8 days from now, etc. What would be the best way to go about doing this? Thanks

  Hey, Is it possible to call a function which is located in a controller from a view. This is what i have in my controller, as an example function checkKeyExists($userid, $key){ } Then inside my view i have the following if(checkKeyExists($row->id, $role->key)){ } But when i run it, it says that checkKeyExists is not defined.   When I try to put a value into a DATE field which is invalid, MySQL seems to use 0000-00-00 instead. Is there a way I can do this "check" without updating a DATE field? And to do it from for example PHP? Like, is there a way I can query the MySQL server and ask "Hey, is this DATE, TIME or DATETIME valid to you?" Or is there maybe an even better way of doing it?
