    I have configured an outgoing and incomign mail box settings in vtiger 5.04. I created a new marketing campain, added a contanct (lead) to it and try to send e-mail to that contact. When I clisk "send" I get "Please check the current user mailid. It should be a valid mailid to send Emails". But I configured everything!!! HELP!!!!

  • Organization: Ways to link/group documents with emails?

    I like keeping my stuff organized, but short of printing everything out and keeping it in an actual file cabinet, I've never figured out a good way to link/group document files with related emails. This means that when I'm looking for something, I often have to search in my email program, and then through the documents stored in some filesystem folder. Has anyone out there come up with a neat way to group related stuff like this for searching, archiving, etc?

  • Attach BCC to all emails processed through Windows Server 2008 SMTP relay

    I currently have a relatively complicated application that sends emails via a nightly job through an SMTP server on Windows Server 2008. Is there a way to configure IIS/SMTP to send a copy of every email that's relayed to another email address? Essentially, can I add a BCC on the fly through IIS/SMTP configuration? Because of the complexity of the application, we would prefer to change the behavior this way if it's possible as opposed to making code changes to the application.

    I have written a stored procedure in MSSQL Server 2008 R2 which sends emails when my Application logs errors. It works fine on servers at our office but when I ran it on our remote servers I got must issue a starttls command first So maybe there is a setting somewhere which is different between the two servers, and that's why it's working on one and not the other. How do I set the server so that it issues a "starttls commaned first"?

    I use and love gmail. However, since i use email for customer support, I'm always doing a cross reference lookup via the search feature to see my past conversations with the person whose email I'm reading. I'd love to have a right sidebar widget that shows me, for any email I choose to read, the list of previous conversations/emails with that person. Is this possible? I'm using Chrome Ideally, this sidebar would bump or replace the contextual ads that now display over there.

    I have a postfix server configured with imap. Only the recipient with the user account in the system is accepted. For example: rcpt to: test@localhost will yield the following error: 550 5.1.1 <test@localhost>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table What I want to achieve is setup virtual maps which accepts email to all the users (even if the user doesn't accept in the system) then forward all those emails to a specific user mailbox.     How do I configure exim4 to route all emails via a third-party SMTP server when the sender's domain, recipient's domain, and server hostname all match? I followed this great answer and have exim4 sending emails to addresses at other domains tested and working from an Ubuntu server. My only issue is that emails where both the sender and recipient share the same domain as the server hostname, they never leave the server (and this is the expected behavior). For example, sending from [email protected] -- [email protected] works fine, but sending from [email protected] -- [email protected] just routes the mail locally to /var/mail/account2, without passing through the third-party SMTP server. I'm using Google Apps at my own domain and want to send emails from [email protected] to [email protected] from a machine with the hostname example.com. I want to route them through Google's SMTP server so I see them in my other email clients. Is this possible? Very similar questions (but for postfix) here and here.

    If I see an email returned due to a hard bounce, after how many days is it acceptable to resend to that email address. It is possible for emails to be reactivated or for temporary outages, so it doesn't make sense to keep an email in my hard bounce email list forever. I've already seen cases where I receive emails from addresses that were put in my hard bounce email list months ago. Any recommendations? Are there specific recommendations from ISPs?

Currently, my script is following: grep -srhw "[[:alnum:]]*@[[:alnum:]]*" /etc It working OK - a see some of the emails, but when i modify it, to catch the one-or-more charactes before- and after the "@" sign ... grep -srhw "[[:alnum:]]+@[[:alnum:]]+" /etc .. it stops working at all Also, it does't catches emails of form "[email protected]" Help !

    Our exchange system here has been setup that any emails older and x weeks are automatically archived. Once they are when you click on them they are loaded from the archive and then opened. This makes backing older emails up onto say another drive impossible because when I open them from say home, I'm not connected to the exchange server and thus the email cannot be opened. Is there a way I can back them up and still have them available?
