  • How does N create it's tileset?

    I am trying to recreate a Multiplayer version of the popular flash game N in java. I have a single question however. Are the tiles for the games draw or are they defined with mathamatical formulars/In code? Since I do see how they would scale up in flash if they were not.   • UIDocumentInteractionController in iOS for Whatsapp Integration

    I was looking for a way to share my application created files through Whatsapp. I found we can chat using custom URL scheme provided by whatsapp : https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/iphone/23559013. But, to share files of my app, read that I have to use DicumentIntercationController. So, is there any smaple available? Also, when I read about apple docs, it says, "Create an instance of the UIDocumentInteractionController class for each file you want to interact with" (https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/FileManagement/Conceptual/DocumentInteraction_TopicsForIOS/Articles/PreviewingandOpeningItems.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40010410-SW1). So is it necessary to create instance for each file? I just want to share the files as and when i receive it through my service to my app. Thanks for the help in advance.

  • Youtube controls (sound, etc) not functional in full-screen mode: is that normal?

    When playing youtube videos full-screen, I can't mouse-interact with the player controls, except for the slider (only single-clicking on the video works as play/pause, but not double-click, interestingly, so the only way to leave full-screen mode is via Escape). Is this behavior known? What can I do about it? I'm on Ubuntu 12.04, using Google's Chrome browser. P.S. If that matters, some other flash players I've tried also display the same problem, so this may be an issue with Google-supplied Flash plugin. Thanks in advance.

So I'll like to put a twitter feed there, how can I receive all the twitter posts created by AND mentioned from @stickydestroyer; how can I make it look good and code the actual thing. I know I have to use some sort of cURL module, but how can I get the feed AND make it looking nicely?

  • Libreoffice theme integration not working (Xubuntu)

    I am running Xubuntu 11.10 and everything works nicely. I have selected a nice Xfce theme and everything looks beautiful, except Libreoffice. While other programmes (Gimp, Inkscape, Thunar etc.) integrate with the selected Appearance & Window Manager theme, Libreoffice looks like a Windows 98 programme. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have already tried this solution, without success: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1584010&page=2 Thanks for your help!

NAND is usually found in very different application than is NOR Flash memory wears out This is expected to get worse over time Retention: Disappearing data Bits fade away Retention decreases with increasing read/writes Bits may change when adjacent bits are read Time and traffic are concerns Controllers typically groom read disturb errors Like DRAM refresh Increases erase/write frequency Application characteristics Music – reads high / writes very low Video – r high / writes very low Internet Cache – r high / writes low On airplanes Many consumers now have their own content viewing devices – do they need the airlines? Is there a way to offer more to consumers, especially with their own viewers Additional special content tie into airplane network access to electrical power, internet Should there be fixed embedded or removable storage for on-board airline entertainment? Is there a way to leverage personal and airline viewers and content in new and entertaining ways?

    I have a project under continuous integration and would like to add end user documentation to the project. The end user documentation is a user manual, not API documentation. In our environment we use windows, c#, msbuild, cruisecontrol.net and subversion. We are currently using DocToHelp to create our help file, which is based on an msword document. I'm looking for some guidance on how to manage the end user documentation. What documentation tools should I use? Should any of the documentation tools be part of the build script? Should the output files from the documentation tool be stored in subversion? What type of help files would be best to use?

  • Close Flash Player from FlashDevelop IDE

    Whenever I compile my project using FlashDevelop in 'Debug' the Flash Player window remains after I have clicked the 'Stop' button in Flash Develop. I have to then switch over to the flash player, click through any error messages and then close the player, which wastes a lot of time in the long run. Any way to make it so Flash Player closes when I click 'Stop' in the Flash Develop debug tools? EDIT: My setup is a fresh install of Windows 7, a new copy of Flash Develop 4 and Flash Player 10.     For the following scenario I am looking for your advices and tips on best practices: In a distributed (mainly Java-based) system with: many (different) client applications (web-app, command-line tools, REST API) a central JMS message broker (currently in favor of using ActiveMQ) multiple stand-alone processing nodes (running on multiple remote machines, computing expensive operations of different types as specified by the JMS message payload) How would one best apply the JMS support provided by the Spring Integration framework to decouple the clients from the worker nodes? When reading through the reference documentation and some very first experiments it looks like the configuration of an JMS inbound adapter inherently require to use a subscriber, which in a decoupled scenario does not exist. Small side note: communication should happen via JMS text messages (using a JSON data structure for future extensibility).

  • Why hasn't anybody started a hosted continuous integration service?

    There's a dozen services that provide hosted version control, hosted ticket tracking, hosted project management, and combinations of all of the above, there's even hosted web-based IDEs. But nobody's yet offered a hosted continuous integration service; at least that I can find. The concept seems simple enough: I register and provide the URL to my source code repository, it grabs my code and builds it via ant/rake/whatever, then runs the suite of tests and some metrics (code coverage, performance, etc.). Is there some prohibitive barrier to entry I'm not considering?

  • Having trouble with Flash, Javascript and JQuery

    I'm using JQuery with the JQuery flash plugin (http://jquery.lukelutman.com/plugins/flash/) and trying to send a JS call back to the flash, I keep running into "xxx is not a function" so apparently something is off. I'm new to JQuery and very new to this jquery flash plugin and just can't quite wrap my head around what I am doing wrong. Here's where I'm lading up the flash: <div id="tagimgback"> <script language="javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $('#tagflash').flash( { src: 'tagflash', width: 200, height: 200, flashvars: {theYear:'2010',theTagNumber:'123'} }, { version: 8 } ); }); </script> </div> And here's where I'm trying to call it: $("#tagflash").gotoNewFrame(theTagNumber); gotoNewFrame is an AS function within my flash. I know the function works as I've been able to test it prior to bringing jQuery into the mix.
