  • Sort Outlook Inbox "Arrange By" | Switch between FROM and Conversation View

    Using VBA and a toolbar button, I'd like to be able to Switch between FROM and Conversation View, but I just work how to or find any code to do this. I tried the Sort Methods but, they only work in memory and don't re-sort the actual inbox. I use Conversation View for GMail style functionality with my Sent items BCC'd to myself, but want to switch to 'From' with all Groups Collapsed - so that I can find emails from certain people quickly. Session Facade - In the business tier, as a com+ component, encapsulates business objects, provides a course grain interface for views to access business components. Reduces coupling, hides complex business component interaction from views. So what is the actual difference? They seem pretty similar to me..

    Is there any way to detect and handle whether a Java library is correctly releasing file-handles (via "close") from within a Java program that is using said library, short of having access to the actual library code and inserting the corresponding "finally close" statements? If detection is feasible, is there any way to close those file-handles without a reference to the Reader (or FileInputStream) that was reading the file?

  • Why is multitasking not supported on the iPhone ?

    Many people are saying that Apple has restricted it for better performance. If so Apple should increase the size of RAM to support multitasking. So Apple is not allowing it. Others say that Cocoa Touch applications can't be multitasking as the iPhone has only one window and views on it. I can not understand which is the actual reason for this ? Please clarify me.

    Hey Guys Im looking for a jquery or ajax file uploader, Im currently using the FancyUploader which worked great until Flash brought out their update making all flash progress bars absolete, now whenever I try to upload large files... it will fill the progress bar to 100% in a matter of seconds even though the actual upload finished minutes after. So im now looking for a new uploading script that DOESNT require flash but can still display the progress. Any suggestions?

    In Oracle I've created a data type: TABLE of VARCHAR2(200) I want to have a variable of this type within a Stored Procedure (defined locally, not as an actual table in the DB) and fill it with data. Some online samples show how I'd use my type if it was filled and passed as a parameter to the stored procedure: SELECT column_value currVal FROM table(pMyPassedParameter) However what I want is to fill it during the PL/SQL code itself, with INSERT statements. Anyone knows the syntax of this?

  • Display Spry results in Jquery modal dialog

    I am using Spry to retrieve data from a SOAP webservice (received as XML). I want to display these results in modal Dialog using the jquery dialog plugin. I have an almost working solution, but the dialog shows the spry placeholders (i.e. the fieldnames surrounded by {}), not the actual retrieved data. Any ideas how I might achieve what I want?

  • using Visual Studio 2010 and speech recognition on windows 7?

    I've never used Speech Recognition (SR) at all, but I'm hearing that the built-in SR capabilities of windows 7 is not half-bad. I'm thinking that it might be a real productivity booster with Visual Studio so I can decrease the use of the mouse (no Emacs comments please ;-). I don't envision not using the keyboard to type the actual code--but maybe that would work too? Does anyone have experience using SR with Visual Studio on Windows 7? If so, any tips on usage?

The actual debugging engine, however, is embedded in the game itself and is written in a mixture of C, C++, and assembly patches.   • Grid 960 bug in Internet Explorer 8?

    If you go to the "Variable Grid System" generator and have: column width = 20 number of columns = 12 and gutter width = 60 ...the system provides a content width of 900 and a full width of 960. http://www.spry-soft.com/grids/ Now, this is all fine and dandy in Firefox, Chrome, and even IE6, but when you load those settings in IE8, you end up with the actual full width as 1000px, not 960px. Has this issue been encountered before?

  • ASP.NET Password textbox, has text as characters entered

    When I look at gmail on my mobile web browser the password textbox hashes the characters as I type so I can see the actual input as I type before is hashed with an asterisk. So as I enter it becomes, P -- *a -- **s etc.. How is this done? I presume its javascript? If somone can point me in the right direction that would be great.
