  • need major webcam help for project!!

    hey guys i have a porject where i have to be able to view my webcam on my mobile phone, which happens to be a blackberry bold 9700 but can also get a hold of an i pod touch so either phone is ok to use. the problem that i have is that everytime i do a search for help on this i end up with a program which enevitably asks for money and this is not allowd in the project, ive been trying to stream using vlc player and viewing it on the opera mini for blackberry but no such luck so far, any help would be great thanks a lot

    I'm using Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista and 7 for cross realm authentication using MIT Kerberos 1.6 but when i try to login with a user the KDC answers: (wireshark output) error_code: KRB5KDC_ERR_ETYPE_NOSUPP (14) ... e-text: BAD_ENCRYPTION_TYPE I want to know how can I change the encryption type method to be compatible with the KDC (i tried a XP client and it worked fine). (posted this yesterday on superuser, but I guess this is more a serverfault question) Can anyone help me on this ? Many thanks!

    Hi, i hope u can help me with this problem. I just bought a new motorola DEXT with Android 1.5 and all the app's works well, but i can't find google talk. I use the Astro file manager and it is install in the services folder the google talk service and the IM or instant messaging service but for one reason i just can't use it, it keeps telling me that Main Activitynot found for com.gooogle.android.apps.gtalkservices Thanks!

    I've got a Fedora LAMP server on Amazon EC2 functioning as a HTTP pseudo-proxy (Sorry, don't know the terminology- It's not a true proxy where requests are relayed through apache, rather client requests are being translated by a PHP script, which then sends a new request.) I'd like to be able to fully log the HTTP cycle CLIENT - PROXY PROXY - SERVICE SERVICE - PROXY PROXY - CLIENT I'm hoping to do this using BASH tools- thinking netcat? Looking for advice and examples.     Protocol: SFTP (port 22) I've tested CuteFtp, FileZilla, SecureCRT and several others. Looks like CuteFTP has the best throughput, usually 200%-400% than others. I've read something about SecureFtp may have slower rate from here. Can anyone explain why CuteFtp has better throughput? And, is there any other FTP client even faster than CuteFtp? Thanks a lot!

    During an overnight system state backup we are seeing thousands of success audit events (4656, 4658) on the folder c:\windows\servicing, system32 and others in the windows folder. We use file success auditing on some files so I can't disable it but this deluge is filling up the logs and making reporting tricky. What is the harm of changing the auditing settings on the windows folder? What are the recommended settings to put on the files for those people doing system state backups? Thanks,

But when I attempted to install the network drivers post-install using the packages from the HP website, I wasn't successful. Though I selected the correct package, the installer reported I did not have the necessary hardware configuration. Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks

    Howdy, I just recently installed hyper-v server 2008 r2 on a dedicated server i have, but i'm having trouble enabling remote management. Running the HVRemote - http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/HVRemote - tool seems to have yielded some positive results, and all tests on the server pass (firewall, permissions, etc), but client-side things are not working. I'm stuck at this step : 5: - Simple query to root\cimv2 WMI namespace FAIL - Simple query failed Cannot perform simple query against root\cimv2 Anyone could help me figure this out? I've found a number of articles which point to an application uSirius which is apparently discontinued (bought out by Apple or something it looks like) but it is nowhere I have found.   • Windows 7 Sysprep unattended doesn't work!

    Hi all, I have a Windows 7 machine that I have run Sysprep on using the following command Sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:c:\sysprep.xml When the PC shutsdown I upload it to my Windows Deployment Server (2008 R2), when I turn the PC back on the unattended install works fine, if I download the image from the deployment server it ignores the unattended install and I get prompted for all the settings.     Will Linux / UNIX / OS X binaries be stored in the same directories across different platform or distributions? I'm asking because I need to have access to uuidgen (stored in /usr/bin/uuidgen on my development computer) and noticed that my local Apache server does not include /usr/bin in the PATH. I know I could add /usr/bin to the path, but I want to make sure the software can be re-deployed on a number of different systems with ease. Thanks!

  • What's with all the mailing archives?

    When I google for certain questions, or problems I run into I would sometimes run into 'archive' sites - these sites contain forum questions or information from other sites that are extremely poorly formatted, and are copies of the well formatted original posts from various forums. An example of one of those sites in mail-archive.com and various similar sites. Can anybody explain to me why those sites exist and how come they don't get banned from Google (since all they have is copied content that is really poorly formatted by bots)? Thanks!
