• How can I read this IIS error log?

  I'm using Debug Diagnostic Tool, trying to understand why around 5% of the requests that are sent to my webservice just crash, without necessarily throw any error inside my application.   I am trying to use :after CSS pseudo element on INPUT field, but it does not work.   I need to retrieve a whole website map, in a format like : http://example.org/ http://example.org/product/ http://example.org/service/ http://example.org/about/ http://example.org/product/viewproduct/ I need it to be linked-based (no file or dir brute-force), like : parse homepage - retrieve all links - explore them - retrieve links, ... And I also need the ability to detect if a page is a "template" to not retrieve all of the "child-pages". For example if the following links are found : http://example.org/product/viewproduct?id=1 http://example.org/product/viewproduct?id=2 http://example.org/product/viewproduct?id=3 I need to get only once the http://example.org/product/viewproduct I've looked into HTTtracks, wget (with spider-option), but nothing conclusive so far. • UITableViewCell repeating problem

  I have a UItableview with cells. Some cells have uilabels and some have uibuttons. The UIbuttons are created whenever the first character in an array is "^". However, the uibuttons repeat when i scroll down (appearing over the uilabel).. and then multiply over the uilabels when I scroll up. Any clues why? • Redirect output of Python program to /dev/null

  I have a Python executable, written and compiled by somebody else, that I simply need to run once halfway down my own bash script. The program uses a text-based UI, therefore waits for input before proceeding, but the key operations it performs when starting are required in my bash script. A messy (and strange) procedure I know, but unfortunately I haven't got any other options. I've gotten around forcefully closing the program with a kill signal, but the program's TUI insists on outputting to wherever it's run. I've tried redirecting both stdout and stderr to /dev/null and running the program in the background by suffixing an ampersand, but simply can't get it to play ball. I believe the cause is the program spawns other processes, and the output redirection of the parent process doesn't affect them. Is there any trick I can utilise to redirect all output from child processes too?

• DokuWiki Segmentation Fault On Radius Auth

  I'm running x64 Ubuntu 12.04. I did a simple apt-get install dokuwiki to install DokuWiki. And I'm trying to follow the directions located here: http://www.dokuwiki.org/auth:radius to get Radius authentication working. Things seemed to install OK. Under Configuration Manager I selected Authentication backend to be "Radius" and filled in the Radius details at the bottom. Now, however, whenever I try to log into the Wiki, my browser gives me the following error: No data received I checked /var/log/apache2/error.log and see this: [Tue Jul 10 22:22:14 2012] [notice] child pid 5270 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) I'm fairly sure the Radius server is setup correctly as it correctly authenticates with my squid proxy and other stuff on the network. But this is about the extent of my Linux troubleshooting skills. Can anyone suggest steps for me to follow to help track down what's causing apache2 to segfault short of attaching with gdb and issuing a set follow-fork-mode? I'm also open to just hearing suggestions for simila

  How can I disallow everything in a directory except any subdirectories that have a certain name using htaccess or even vhost.conf for the site? I have a protected main directory which contains subdirectories. Each of the subdirectories have another child dir named 'thumbs', that I want to allow people access to. In the thumbs folder I have files which all start with 'thumb_' prefix for the filename. So which approach to use, .htaccess FilesMatch or vhost DirectoryMatch? and what would be the code to use? This however doesn't seem to be the case. I know this selector is among the slowest, so I don't use it when there are a lot of elements.   I've just upgraded my MacBook Pro to OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6.6 and now Apache is misbehaving: requests to http://localhost/ generate a 403 Forbidden response -- FIXED requests to any of my virtual hosts seem to generate a 200 Ok response, but contain zero bytes Some further info that might be useful: I'm using the Apache that comes bundled with OS X. • Problem extracting text from RSS feeds

  Hi, I am new to the world of Ruby and Rails. I have seen rails cast 190 and I just started playing with it. I used selector gadget to find out the CSS and XPath I have the following code.. require 'rubygems' require 'nokogiri' require 'open-uri' url = "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rss" doc = Nokogiri::HTML(open(url)) doc.xpath('//a').each do |paragraph| puts paragraph.text end When I extracted text from a normal HTML page with css, I could get the extracted text on the console. But when I try to do the same either with CSS or XPath for the RSS Feed for the following URL mentioned in the code above, I dont get any output. How do you extract text from RSS feeds?? I also have another silly question. • Intraforest user account merge with Active Directory

  I have a scenario where there is a root domain (RD) and two child domains (CD1 and CD2). Users have accounts on both CD1 and CD2, with identical samAccountNames, names etc, and various applications either use the CD1 or CD2 account for authentication to resources. I need to collapse CD2 into CD1, so I want to merge the accounts together. However ADMT does not allow me this option (merge options are greyed out), I think because it does not support intraforest merge of accounts (although it does not explicitly state this anywhere in the documentation). My question is - what is the easiest way for me to merge these accounts? Ultimately all I really need (I think) is for the SID of CD2\user1 to be added to the SIDHistory of CD1\user1 - is there a tool that supports this? Computer accounts and profiles are not a concern for this scenario. Group migration is unlikely to be an issue either - CD2\user1 is usually granted resource access through membership of a group on CD1.

  Hello all, I have an array for instance, Array { 3.0 at Index 0 2.0 at Index 1 3.5 at Index 2 1.0 at Index 4 } I would like to get sort it in ascending order without losing the index in the first place, like this, Array { 1.0 at Index 4 2.0 at Index 1 3.0 at Index 0 3.5 at Index 2 } When I sort the array using this, NSArray *sortedArray = [hArray sortedArrayUsingSelector:@selector(caseInsensitiveCompare:)]; [knnRecog sortUsingDescriptors:[NSArray arrayWithObject:sortAsc]]; I lose the index. Does anyone know a way to preserve the index after sorting the array? Thanks

• virtualbox ftp hangs on list command

  Hi all, I have virtual box installed on a windows 7 64-bit computer, with Cent OS 5.5 as guest os. I want to be able to use ftp between those. I've installed vsftpd on the guest os, and the guest os uses a nat connection with the host os for internet. So far, I am able to connect to the guest os using ftp (in filezilla), but after the list command is executed, nothing happens, until the command is timed out. This happens in both active and passive mode. I do have set a pasv_min/max_port in the vsftpd.conf file, listing is enabled, and the ports are redirected in virtualbox. Also the ftp_data_port is set to 20. I also tried setting the pasv_address, but I had to set it to 127.0.0.1, but than filezilla gives me this: Command: PASV Response: 500 OOPS: bad family Command: PORT 127,0,0,1,139,204 Response: 500 OOPS: child died Can someone help me with this?

• Installing Domain Controller on Hyper-V Host

  Given a resource limited setup consisting of 2 host machines (HyperV-01 and HyperV-02), is it OK to put the domain controllers in parent partition, instead of their own VM? The main reason is that if the DCs go into a child partition, starting from cold on both machines could lead to a bit of an issue, as there'd be no DCs around until well after both parents have booted. I'm guessing this might cause undesirable effects. Am I correct to be worried about joining the host systems to a domain that's only on VMs? The biggest drawback I've heard so far is that if AD gets heavily used, its resources could cut into HyperV's. I'm not concerned about that for this deployment. Any other suggestions? (Besides finding a 3rd machine and running AD on it.)
